The Revenge value is essential a hidden damage meter that is triggered when a boss receives damage, When that meter gets full, the boss will do a automatic counter or some type of recovery move. This is done by the AI of the game to prevent bosses from getting wrecked by non-stop damage or near infinite combos.

However this is important to strategy because you can manipulate the bosses behavior and make them do a certain type of attack or even loop them!

When you meet or exceed the RV, it's called a "forced revenge" ( Ex when you hit Data axel with 2-3 combos or blizzard spells when the floor is on fire, he will always retreat into the wall and attack with a slide or pounce, allowing a Reaction comand to clear the fire). And a normal "revenge counter" where the player did not deal enough damage to fill the meter. For another ex. after the Lingering Will does his Desperation Move and you manage to block or dodge it, if you cut your combos short to 3-4, he will always do the DM.

Learning these revenge values are vital to defeating data bosses and other hard bosses. Now here are some notes I took

-Normal eniemes don't have RVs

-despite dealing minimum damage, your partners attacks ( and limits) do add to the RV

-certain types of attacks ( like Last Arcuinum with out doing the finisher) don't add RV also

It's been more than a hot minute since I was last on here, so I decided to log in to see how things have been! Of course, keeping updated with the Kingdom Hearts news, though things have been quiet as of late! But with the Anniversary steadily approaching, we're sure to be in for a flood of news soon!

Anyways, I was listening to some tracks from the series, and then Fate Of The Unknown came up, which is one of my favorite compositions of the franchise! (Seriously, Yoko did something special with this one!) And with that, I felt nostalgic and pulled up the secret ending for Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix!

It's crazy that this is from so long ago yet it still holds up so amazingly well! Remember when we all thought that this was Kingdom Hearts III? When we were all confused as to why Roxas was with two other strangers? So many thoughts and questions rolled in my mind back in the day, and honestly, this still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it! I love how dark it is and that this was basically the endgame for Birth By Sleep years before it released! Birth By Sleep is one of my favorite entries in the franchise, so every time I look at this secret ending, I smile at all the foreshadowing and just the awesome buildup and mystery this brought us during our wait for Kingdom Hearts III! Ah, memories!

For me it was......... well I dont have one

 Gosh! That Vanitas Remnant and Mysterious Figure fight in BbS though. Terrible boss fights. If u don't have once more, second chance, leaf bracer and you're not smashing square button to dodge the entire fight then you're dead instantly. In case of Terra especially, so much luck has to be involved too. After so many tries I finished everything on the critical difficulty.  As for Kingdom Hearts II, the hardest fights were the Organization XIII data battles. Even with max level Sora, they were not easy. I had to use guide to help myself to beat em.  Re:coded was easy-peasy.  I have already got all the trophies in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX so now I have finished every HD ReMIX 100%. Bring on BBS Volume 2 or KH3D HD if it ever comes out but I'm surely ready for Kingdom Hearts III.
