Way2Dawn 80 Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Hello all! This game seems to be getting a little more difficult so I think we should have a series of ~Discussions~ in order to get the best out of our medals and Keyblades. We are all hardcores here, so lets lend everyone a helping hand! My first ~Discussion~ I wanted to talk about is Keyblade layouts. As I'm sure you all know, in a recent update we were awarded the ability to make Keyblade stacks rather than having to constantly switch our medals. Each Keyblade has 3 stacks that we can now use, which is a tremendous improvement. For those of you who arent sure, Im talking about this: So how do you best utilize these 3? There are so many strategies in this game, I want to know what you do and what you feel like is a great strategy to help some players manage this a little better. For me, I like to put my best medals in the corresponding place (for example, my 6* Marluxia goes in the Speed/Reversed space on Lady Luck) for my 1st Keyblade, Then do all AOE medals in my second blade, and all single target for my third, with an Illustrated Kairi in the first spot of all blades and stacks. What do you think? How do you best utilize this feature? What Buff/Debuff medals should people use if they have them? Leave a comment below Cheers! BlankShell 638 Posted November 2, 2016 My first loadout is always going to be my primary attacker, the one that can net me the "beat everything in 1 turn" objective for story quests. So these are just always going to be my strongest; right now my TT, for example, is Ill. Kairi, SP Axel, KH2 Cloud, Black Coat Mickey, and Xemnas. Now that I actually have Ill. Kairi, my Speed and Magic Keyblades look a little different, since the damage compensation from medal affinity can theoretically outweigh the need for a three tier attack boost, but it's changing. Second loadout varies based on what I feel like. This is going to be the one I play around with the most, experiment different strategies in, etc. Third is my Coliseum/Event loadout. This is the one I'll use for a given HSC challenge or once I reach the higher levels of Tier 10/11 in the Coliseum and I can't just brute force everything through. It'll vary the most. 1 Way2Dawn reacted to this
Dustin Newton 60 Posted November 2, 2016 My first setup is my 1 turn/hard hitter configuration. I use my second slot to find different combinations, grind skills or hold medals that i want to use but don't have cids for at the moment. my 3rd slot is if i need to make a temporary setup that to meet certain conditions like using 5 specials on raid eggs 1 Way2Dawn reacted to this
Moochieh32 676 Posted November 3, 2016 *has all 3 decks filled with tier 2 Disney medals* lol
RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted November 3, 2016 I'm kinda random with my layouts. I just use them to experiment which is best and for those Raid Boss starter-uppers regarding Eggcognito, I use weaker medals, because of those "Use Special Attack 5 times" objectives. Guest Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) I always have a strength boost medal for my Keyblades: Vivi (for the Divine Rose), Cogsworth (for Magic), The Rabbit (for Speed) and Diz (for Power). These strength boost Keyblades make sure that you wipe out enemies in one hit. Edited November 3, 2016 by Guest
OmegaForte 1,674 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) Boost medals on the first 2 slots of course! Them being either KH II Kairi, Piglet, RAX, and/or J&S. Everything else is whatever I need for missions/colosseum. Edited November 3, 2016 by OmegaForte
Nonethedragon 6 Posted November 4, 2016 The way I use my decks kinda varies by keyblade. It just kinda worked out that my magic medals are way stronger than my speed medals, and my power medals are utterly lacking. Because of this, I use mostly TW and DR. For TW, my decks 1 and 2 are usually pretty similar, sometimes with only one or two medals differing. Deck 3 is usually just used for any cheesey strategy I try out, or for HSC attempts. For DR, deck 1 is used for Jack and Shadow, 2 is used for Larxene and JS, and deck 3 is again for any other situation. I rarely use TT & LL, so there's no real sense going on with them, though I do have a setup with only power/speed medals for those objectives. For Starlight, deck 1 just maximizes my strongest medals on the appropriate multiplier, deck 2 is a lux farming setup for low level raid bosses with Lux+ Wakka, AP+ RAX, AB2&AP+ Rock Titan, throwaway 5* medal because I don't bother putting cids on Wakka, and AP+ HD Aqua. Oh yeah, and I haven't used Olympia in so long I almost forgot about it. Same problem with TT, my power medals are just so lacking that my Jack and Shadow DR deck works better for pretty much anything.
Karistan 0 Posted November 5, 2016 My monocolored set 1 are for max single damage output, set 2 with 2 RAX and 2 damage AoE, and set 3 for single-color objectives. Set 1 of Olympia is power/speed, set 2 buffs for 2 HT Soras and set 3 for HT Goofy. Set 1 Divine is colorless Key, set 2 my best blue Key, and set 3 a speed/blue Key. Still got MoG at +4, and Starlight at +20 while others are at +25 or 26. I'm usually going around with colorless DR+26.. cheap and strong against everything. Starlight has all useless Skills for objectives, like AB1, DB1 or AB All
