Kalebninja 188 Posted January 24, 2017 The last boss was complete BS, it took me 3 hours on proud because of its attacks you cant dodge in phase 2 and its combos that can stunlock and instantly kill you. We better pray they are receiving assistance from the original team for KH3. 1 Dio Brando reacted to this

FlyingEggplant 116 Posted January 24, 2017 I did not like 0.2, if it weren't for DDD and back cover I would say it's a waste of money, but just because I didn't like 0.2 doesn't mean I won't like KH3. I think KH3 is going to be an amazing game maybe even better then my favorite KH game (KH2) But we'll just wait and see 1 Dio Brando reacted to this
Hoshiko Hikari 301 Posted January 24, 2017 The graphics were what impressed me the most. They were beautiful! And I bet it'll look even better in KH3 because the worlds won't be so dark and fragmented. I am a little worried about Kairi's voice though. Alyson Stoner was voicing her again and although the voice acting itself was good it didn't sound quite as appealing to the ears as Hayden's voice. There was a bit too much sass in it. I'm really hoping Hayden comes back for KH3! 2 Roxasrox and PrinceNoctis reacted to this
WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted January 25, 2017 I am playing Dream Drop Distance before doing anything else in 2.8, so I have no clue what I feel about 2.8 since I have yet to play it to find out!
Roxasrox 131 Posted January 25, 2017 If nothing else, KH3 will be a gorgeous game. It looked beautiful and the effects were incredible. Magic was also so much more fun AND practical to use than it's been in any game before. Props for all those leaps and bounds forwards. That said, gameplay could have been tighter in some areas and overall felt like a cross between KH2 and BBS. That's not a bad thing, but I also don't feel like it's entirely a good thing. I can't put my finger on it. But yes, the shadow wave bosses were a bit cheap so if Square Enix iron that stuff out, we'll have a phenomenal game on our hands. But personally, given the stakes of the story, the set up, the writing, the overall creativity and really just how fun to play the series still is, I'll consider KH3 a phenomenal game if it holds this stuff up even without these things getting ironed out. venxas24 544 Posted January 25, 2017 One major issue I had with 0.2 was the camera. For me the camera was really hard to operate. It seemed too slow on the middle choice but too hard to control on high. Also with the lock on system it didn't seem to work as well as in other KH games. It ddidn't seem to lock on to enemies unless I could already see them on the screen and with how fast the enemies were moving they often became untargeted before I could hit them. The range of the targeting also felt really short and focusing on an enemy to attack was annoying sometimes. If they can fix this and some other small things that made the game feel a little slow then I have high hopes for KH3 but atm I think kh2fm still has better controls overall. TripleNipple 308 Posted January 25, 2017 I loved it. I had a few frame rate issues at parts (did anyone else have this problem?), but overall it was great. Not sure how I feel about how Mickey looks or the voice actor though.
Master Eraqus 1,340 Posted January 25, 2017 (edited) KH3 is gonna be amazing, awesome, incredible... just, incredibly amazing. I just finished the game on Prod Mode. The gameplay was exciting, challenging and I never felt like I was overpowered or breaking the game. I could really see how much the Osaka Team improved in gameplay mechanics; Shotlocks weren't as overpowered as in BBS and it actually took a while to refill the gauge, the Situation Commands were an amazing new feature and the combat felt like I was playing KH2, but surprisingly better, and that's mostly because of the magic. The environments were large and beautiful and the characters looked amazing. Dodging didn't make me 100% invincible and I'm proud of that. The bosses were really fun and challenging, especially the final boss. I didn't just went and attacked; I blocked, waited for the right opportunity to strike and it felt rewarding. A.I. was really impressive. Mickey always healed me when I was low on health (if he had MP) and I actually used a few items. Finally, music... C'mon, do I even need to say it? The music is amazing as always. All in all, this game is incredible and I'm extremely excited for KH3 cause if it's gonna be better than this with gameplay, cause I know it will, then what the future holds will have me waiting in excitement. ghostwarmen 20 Posted January 25, 2017 "Amazing" is an understatement for the hype I have now for KH3. After 0.2, I have no doubt KH3 is going to be simply fantastic, near perfection. I hope they fix the frame rate issues that were present in 0.2, but other than that, I am more than hyped for KH3. I was already hyped up immensely seeing as how I grew up with the series and 3 will be wrapping up my childhood (and I have waited for it for so long). Compared to everything I have played and been excited for, KH3 is my most hyped game ever, hands down.
