In ancient times, three gods were born when the Earth was created. There was Diablo, the god of fire. He gave the humans fire. Then there was Pablo, the god of the Earth. He gave the humans warmth and gifts to be able to live. Lastly there was Izuru, the goddess of Ice. She gave the humans water and kept them healthy. The humans worshiped these gods until they were soon forgotten.

Now, thousands of years later, the humans have united into one society. The city of Setu. It is named after the legendary warrior named Setu who fought off against non-human beings and united the world. He also created the organization called The Seekers. They protect the city and the world. Now, the city is at risk of being attacked by an unknown force that is connected to the old gods. Now certain number of Seekers now must seek out and search for the gods to help them once more and save the world as Setu did many years ago. Now, are you up to the task to find these gods or are you part of the forces that seek to destroy the world?

'' Setu was an almighty warrior! He united the world when it was weak in order to force away the non-humans. He then created this wonderful city and then..'' said the preacher as Neku was walking down the street. He was in his normal clothes as The Seeker military high members don't need to wear the military uniform. He was heading towards the military headquarters to meet up with the President for his apparent important mission. Unknown to him, Luke, in his human uniform, was standing in an ally watching him. He quietly disappeared into the darkness. The new threat has arrived and it has taken the shape of one man.

Inside the Range Training Building, in one of the many rooms, Leto stood with a large group of trainees at the ready. "At this day and age, with every day technology only growing, our options for weaponry grow exponentially. We have guns, prosthetics that work even better than actual limbs, even vehicles that run with solar power. But when it all goes down, when the bullets run out, and nothing remains, all we have left to ourselves is our skill. Though many think of this to be obsolete, before you can run, you must walk. Before you can earn your right to handle a gun..." Leto spoke, walking across the field in front of the line of trainees, all standing in pose with their heads held high. He stopped at the very end of his sentence, turning to face back at the group. "You must learn to trust your instincts, and hone your personal skills." He stepped back. "Today you will begin your practice with moving targets. You must learn to predict their movements in order to land a hit that could mean the difference between life and death. Get ready!" Leto yelled, the trainees quickly reaching for their bows. Each of the bows had a different colored ribbon, such ribbons also visible on the arrows themselves to identify which belonged to who. They got in position, Leto walking over to a panel as he typed some things in. "Go." Leto said, pulling a lever as the targets began to move across the range. The trainees shot at the targets. Some missed. Some hit. Leto walked behind the trainees. "Ezekiel, straighten your back. Emma, your hold is too low." Leto instructed, walking back and forth as he watched. "Colonel Spyridon!" Leto paused, turning to see someone hurrying over to him. "The President requires your presence at their office!" The young soldier said. Leto hummed. "Why wasn't I told earlier?" "It was a last minute call, sir." Leto nodded, tilting his head slightly. What could this mission possibly entail that they needed him too? He turned to the group. "Train until you run out of arrows. Then retrieve them, and train again." With that, Leto stepped away, hurrying down the hallway to the President's Office.

Sister Olivia sat in an antechamber waiting for the meeting with the President, taking the time to go over a few choice passages from the scriptures. If she was to lend her expertise on the gods, she had to be sure she had the interpretations right. With the leather bound book on her knees, she turned the pass with her right hand, keeping her prosthetic hand away from the book. There was no stigma against mechanical limbs in the Order, but Sister Olivia just felt odd handling sacred texts with a man made limb.

Heaving a sigh, Sister Olivia pinched the bridge of her nose with the thumb and forefinger of her flesh and blood hand. Despite her studying of the sacred texts, there was only so much she could tell the Seekers about this new threat. With so much up to interpretation, some of the scriptures had little to offer. But she still had to try.

"But not too deep." She thought, remembering the guidance from Father Diego. If you looked to hard for details, you could miss the bigger pattern.

Taking a deep breath, Sister Olivia closed the book and slid it into her satchel. Standing, she began to walk around the antechamber, admiring the decorations as a way to unwind before the big meeting.

Neku walked through the corridors of the main government building. He has only met the president once. It was when he was graduating from the academy. His mentor, the general Cross, taught him how to grow up. Cross was sent away to deal with a problem with one of the colony villages. He hasn't seen him in months. He actually missed Cross. He soon approached the presidents chambers main hall. There he saw the woman. Holding a book with just her left arm. He leaned against the wall. He was to wait for the others until going in. The president of Setu is said to be the strongest. Rumor has it he knows magic. The only ones next to him is the vice president and the five generals. Cross was only the second strongest general. Neku wished to become a general one day. He could never be president. He turned his head to look at the woman.'' Hello. It seems I'm not the only one who was called to this little briefing. Tell me, who are you?'' Neku quietly asked.

"Sister Olivia, if I recall." Leto said, answering Neku's question as he walked into the room, remembering the tales of the young orphan from the Revist Order that had joined their ranks. He had his hood down, his hair still covering his eyes slightly as he glanced at the two. He expected people to be called, but only three? He knew the president was picky, but he could at least be a bit more frugal in his selection. Regardless, he trusted him. He had to. Not much of a choice there. Even if he didn't even give information of what he had planned ahead of time. He paused, stopping in front of the two, quickly reminding himself of his matters. "Forgive me for intruding. I did not mean to be rude, if I was." He added, bowing his head slightly towards Neku and Olivia. "I'm Leto...honor to meet your acquaintances...seeing that we might be working together." He said, hands behind his back as he kept eye contact minimal. It wasn't out of rudeness...he just wasn't a very social person to begin with.

Neku continued leaning against the wall.'' Hello Leto, I believe I met you before but I can't remember. Oh well and Sister Olivia? That's an interesting name indeed.'' Neku said. He felt uneasy. He noticed Leto's outfit. 'This man is a rank higher then me. That means he'll be in charge. That's just great.' thought Neku. He sighed quietly as the president's doors began to open. Beyond this point, Neku's life was going to change. He just did not know it. The Seeker's most powerful man lied beyond this as well. Neku breathed in.'' Well, shall we?'' Neku said as he walked into the president's office.

Outside the main building and across from it, Luke sat on a roof on a building located across. He was eating an apple.'' Ah the great Seeker headquarters. The proud symbol of hope of the world. I will now turn this into a symbol of despair. The lord has waited for a long time for this moment. His awaking is at hand. The Dark Lord, Inbuki!'' Luke exclaimed as he put his hands up in the air and soon the sky started getting dark with dark black clouds.

Sister Olivia turned and smiled at Neku before trying to introduce herself, but Leto beat her to it. She gave Leto a quizzical look. She wondered if he had been to one of her lectures...er, briefings, on mythology she had been giving over the last few days. Oh well, new faces, new chances to learn.

"Named after a saint." Sister Olivia told Neku. "Common practice in the Order."

Straightening her robe, she nodded to Neku.

"Let's." She said cheerfully as she followed him into the presidential office.

She paused slightly as she passed a window. Was it getting darker outside?

Leto followed the two into the office, his attention drawn by the nearest window as the sunny sky slowly became covered in clouds. "(That's odd...rain wasn't on the forecast for another week.)" Leto thought, frowning slightly. Rainy days always put everything on hold. Leto turned to Sister Olivia, giving an apologetic look. "I do apologize if I was weird to know your name...I was at one of your briefings the other day, was simply surprised to see you here." Leto said, giving an attempt of a small smile before looking back at the office. Leto was creepy as he was, he thought to himself, due to his personality and looks...no need to be acting even more creepy with colleagues. "(I already scared a kid this morning.)" He thought, sighing to himself as he stopped by the desk. "Good morning, President." Leto spoke, a casual tone to his voice as he moved his hands from his back to his pockets.

Neku stood in attention. The president sat in his desk as he queitly slipped his tea.'' Hello there. You can relax. I'm not that stuck up.'' the president said as he slipped his tea again. Neku felt a strong aura from him. He could barely stand. The power the president had was vast. Neku would lose instantly.'' Um sir, why did you chose us three?'' Neku asked as he finally spoke.'' That is a good question. I chose you three because the order can spare you. Now, this is a top secret mission. Only me, my second, and the five generals know of this mission. You are to journey in the outlands towards the Anicent Ruins.'' The president stated. Neku glupped. The ruins were fordiddened off limits for years.'' What are we to find?'' Neku asked.'' The reason for these attacks the generals are invesigating. And, why this dark sky suddenly appeared. I trust you all can do it. Sister Oliva is an expert in these ruins, that is why I personality chose her and you two are in charge of protecting her. In that direction lies general Draven. He can help if he is able. Now, you have your orders and are expected to leave in the next couple of hours. I trust you all can complete this mission. Leo, you are in charge of the major decisions. That is it for todays meeting. Do keep in contact. That is all.'' The president stated as he stood and opened his doors. Neku glupped as he walked out as he let out a gasp. The power he had, it was immense.'' So, that's the mission. What do ya think?'' Neku asked.

Sister Olivia gave Leto a "no problem" look and hand wave. At least now she knew where she had seen him from. She stood in a lose attention stance as the President spoke. For an instant, she made a face when the president said Leto and Neku were going to protect her, but it was quickly replaced with her normal look of keen attention. While she felt capible of taking care of herself, she understood that for a mission like this, it was better to play it safe.

"There are a couple of old drawings in the Order's records about the layout of the ruins." Sister Olivia volunteered as she followed after Neku. "Depending on the decay that has happened in the centuries since they were made, we may be able to beeline for central locations to conduct our investigation."

Leto gave a small head bow to the president in recognition, before turning and leaving the room with Sister Olivia and Neku, the doors behind them closing. The president's aura and overall power that went beyond his figure was always suffocating. By this point Leto was already just too used to it to really allow it to bother him as much as it did once before. He was surprised that Neku didn't faint, actually. He nodded towards Sister Olivia. "That would be a wise idea to follow up upon. Hopefully we will get lucky and the preservation process would have kept at the very least some of it legible...if they don't fall apart the moment we pick them up." Leto said, rubbing the back of his head. "Right. We have a few hours to prepare. Let's go and pack up our things, and when we're done, meet up at the archives building to look for the maps...does it sound good to you?" Leto offered, glancing at the two.

Neku nodded to Leo. He had no choice but to listen to Leo as he was in charge. He breathed in.'' Yeah. Sounds good. I'll go and get ready.'' Neku said as he calmly walked away.'' I'll meet ya at the archives in an hour.'' Neku said as he walked away and outside of the building. He was ready for this mission. He has not had a mission in a while. He started walking through town towards his house. The sky was darker then it was a couple of minutes ago.'' Hm. I wonder what caused this.'' he asked.'' Simple. Me.'' Neku heard a strange voice. He turned and saw Luke.'' Who are you?'' '' Oh, my name is Luke. It's nice to meet you. I've been waiting to meet you Neku.'' '' How do you know my name?'' '' Simple, I know who you are.'' The two exchanged words as Neku quickly drew his sword and rushed towards Luke as he simply blocked with his arm.'' How?'' Neku exclaimed.'' Simple once more Neku, you are to end here along with this whole city.'' Luke said as back at the headquarters, the president slipped from his tea as a shadow appeared behind him.

"Fair plan." Sister Olivia agreed. "I'll meet you both at the archive."

Going her own way, the Revist Specialist bee lined for her lodgings where she already had her limited belongings packed. She hefted the Seeker issued SMG she had, looking at it thoughtfully. During her time at the monastery, she had never touched such a weapon, the masters there preferring the kind of defense that couldn't be taken away. Yet, after a short training period, Sister Olivia had gained reasonable proficiency with it. Still, it felt a little alien in her hands, even the synthetic one.

"If the gods smile on us, I won't have to use it." She thought, fully aware that the gods hadn't been doing much smiling of late.

Strapping the SMG to her back and packing some extra mags in her satchel and backpack, she left her lodges for the Archive.

Leto retrieved some of his stuff for the trip. His cellphone, Standard arrows, Elemental arrows, water, and powder meals. Weapon wise many insisted that his techniques and use of bow and arrows were antiquate compared to the use of the guns and machines that existed no a days. Not that Leto minded their complaints, as he would simply reply that he saw the accuracy of one arrow worth more than the waste of dozens of bullets to take down a single target. He usually didn't get more after that. The attacks had become more frequent and more dangerous. If searching within the ancient ruins of the old ones will bring up the results needed, then Leto would follow orders dutifully. "Hm." Leto glanced out the window. The sky had turned cloudy and dark, extremely unusual for this time of year. "How odd." He strapped his bag across his chest before walking out of his office, slapping a piece of paper with tape on it against the door which said in bold letters written in sharpie 'GONE FOR A MISSION BE BACK WHENEVER CALL ME IF ANYTHING'. "There." He hums, and like that he makes his way to the Archives while checking for any messages on his cell.

Neku kept his stance as Luke smiled.'' Why are you here in specific?'' Neku asked not letting his guard down. Luke chuckled.'' Because of your parents.'' Luke said as Neku eyes widened a little.'' My what?'' Luke quickly pushed back Neku and with amazing speed punched him through the wall of his living room.'' Oh I should have remain quiet. I'm going to be punished for that. Now, tata~'' Luke said as he disappeared. Neku got up quickly and grabbed his things as fast as he can and left his house towards the archives as quickly as he can.

The president remained in his seat when the shadow appeared. He quickly jumped from his seat and landed across the room.'' Who are you?'' the president asked as the shadow started taking form. It was still dark and a identity wasn't possible to see.'' I am the dark lord. The lord who will purge this land. The land that was taken from me by my brothers and sister!"' the shadow exclaimed.'' Your Inbuki.'' the president stated as the shadow hissed and rushed towards the president as the office window exploded alerting the entire city. Luke stood on a building and witnessed the explosion.'' Now, despair shall commence.'' he clapped his hands as he stated that and soon, a hole appeared in the sky and out came winged demons prepared to destroy the city.'' Setu stopped us many years ago. Now, how he now when he is no longer here?''

Upon arriving at the Archives, Sister Olivia went straight for an unmarked door that led to a computer lab. It had a glass sealed section that was sterilized for handling old, fragile documents as well as equipment for scanning the documents. This lab's purpose was to make as exact digital copies of old documents as possible. For Olivia, having that many old documents at her finger tips with out endangering them on a journey was a blessing on par with some of the gods' better choices.

As she entered the lab, a young man dressed in the same kind of robes stood up from a terminal. He brought both closed fits together in front of himself and bowed.

"Blessings, Sister Olivia." He said in the traditional greeting of the Revist Order.

"Blessings, Brother Kai." Sister Olivia returned, preforming the same bow in return. "Finished the drive yet?"

"Indeed!" Brother Kai said, turning away from her to use the computer's mouse.

After a few clicks, a louder one heralded the ejection of a data stick from the computer terminal. Brother Kai pulled it all the way out, then brought it to Olivia.

"It has all the old writings that have been scanned so far." He reported.

"Even Father Topius' notes?" Sister Olivia asked, taking the data stick.

"Scanned them in personally."

"Smiling gods." She exclaimed as she pulled out a tablet from her satchel.

It was a military made, which it wasn't the fastest or the most beautiful interface, but it was designed to work even under harsh conditions. She slotted in the data stick and pulled it up. She selected a file at random and opened it, reveling an image of a yellowing page, covered in ancient script.

"This is exactly what I needed." Sister Olivia said, putting her tablet in standby mode and replacing it in her satchel. "Are the second floor conference rooms open?"

"As far as I know." Brother Kai answered.

"Excellent. Thank you, brother." Sister Olivia said, bowing again. "Straight paths."

"Straight paths." The other Revist echoed, also bowing.

Sister Olivia headed out of the lab and towards the door of the Archive when she caught sight of a panic outside. Moving to a window, she saw the hole in the sky and what it brought.

"Diablo's breath!" She swore.

She pulled out her SMG, loaded and primed it before heading for the door to the Archive.

"I'll be gone for a while, so I'll have to ask you to take over my classes for me. It won't be for long. It's a mission from the president himself. I don't think you give yourself enough credit. You should be fine. There's nothing to worry-" Leto stopped, staring out the window as hell literally broke lose. A giant hole in the sky opening up as demons began to fly down onto the city. "...about...are you...seeing this...yup...gonna call you later..." Leto said as he hung up on his call...well shit. Not a moment after the sound of the alarms began to blare across the headquarters. "ATTENTION ALL PERSONNEL! ALL AVAILABLE SOLDIERS ARE TO PROCEED WITH PLAN BRAVO AND REPORT TO THEIR ASSIGNED DEFENDING POSITIONS! ALL CIVILIANS MUST HEAD TO THE LOWER LEVELS OF THE FACILITY AND STAY OUT OF THE WAY-!" Leto didn't hesitate, dashing towards the Archives. Sister Olivia and Neku, he had to meet up with them and figure out what the hell were they going to do now. Soldiers ran across the halls in a panic, dragging weapons with them. "Sister Olivia! Neku!" Leto called, rushing right into the Archives before running into Sister Olivia. "Sister Olivia! Where's Neku?!" Leto asked, looking around. He shook his head. "Never mind that, grab the maps! We must leave the city while the enemy is distracted!" Leto ordered, turning as he pulled out his crossbow. Their mission. Their mission was meant to find an answer to these attacks...now it might just be only way to find answers to save everything they knew.

( Sorry for the late response. Been busying with work.)

Neku quickly ran through the streets in the chaos that was unfolding. The guns the soldiers have trained so hard to master werent't working against these...beasts. Neku soon saw a building start to collaspe as he quickly ran and grabbed something out of his bag. It was a hook rope. He quickly tossed it onto a nearby roof and started to swing pass the falling derby. He felt something sting but he had to push it aside. He had to get to the archives.'' Damn it. I won't make it in time. I can't even get a damn signal out.'' Neku said as he watch the city starting to get overrunned. A city that stood as the symbol of hope for mankind was starting to fall.'' Damn it. Without the generals, we can't. Wait. The president and his second in command. Maybe there's-'' Neku was cut off by another explosion at the HQ.'' NO!'' Neku yelled in horror as he would not reach in time.'' Please...let me make it!'' Neku said as he got the rope and quickly running passed all the civilians. He soon collasped and fell into the ground. He was bleeding. A piece of rubble impladed him into the side of his stomach.'' Crap..please..I need to...protect..my city..'' Neku said as he reached out for the HQ but his hand lowered as his vision got blurry and soon the demons started surronding him until a bright light appeared.

Neku soon opened his eyes as he was inside the HQ.'' How..?'' Neku as he felt his wound get worst.'' No time to figure it out.'' Neku quickly gave it his best to reach the archives. He soon found Leo and Oliva still there.'' Guys!'' Neku called out.'' We need to get out of here and continue our mission. Lets get one of the planes and...'' Neku soon said as he quickly passed out from his wound once again as he saw their shocked expessions before closing his eyes. Somehow he appeared in the HQ and Neku swore he would not die here. Not until he saved his city.

Leto dashed forward, catching Neku in his arms. He was quick to feel the warmth of the blood spilling from his wound. "Neku?! Neku!!!" Leto yelled, but it was no use. This kid was knocked out, bleeding, and all while the entire place was falling into literal pieces. Holy sh*t. "Son of a b*tch." Leto cursed, ripping cloth from his cape to shove it against Neku's wound, pulling him up and resting him on his shoulder, making sure that his wounded area pushed against his shoulder for pressure. "Let's move, Olivia. We have to catch a ride in the hangar before it ends up collapsing!" Leto yelled, holding Neko on one shoulder as he held his crossbow with the other arm. They ran, dashing across the chaos as demons came flying into the building through windows. One demon crashed into a nearby soldier, turning its head to face the group, until Leto shot an arrow right through its head, sending it flying back and pinning it against the nearest wall. Reaching the hangar only brought in more chaos, demons flying in through the entrances as the soldiers struggled, barking out orders and shooting across as jets were sent flying out, some not making it very far before being taken down. Leto was aiming for a specific aircraft- an helicopter. They found it among the jets, Leto snapping its hatch open. "Olivia, can you fly us out?" Leto asked as he sett;ed Neku inside, putting pressure against his wound once more.

Luke was inside the ruined presidents office. He looked around the ruined office.'' No sign of him. I wonder if the lord killed him.'' He said as he quickly dodged an arrow.'' Oh my, I never believe you've been here. General Cross.'' Luke said as he turned around and saw Cross. Cross stood in his military outfit. He had long blonde hair, blue eyes, the right one being blind as a cross scar was on his right side of his face.'' I knew I sensed abnormal pressence here. You must be the leader of this little invasion so I'll take you out.'' Cross said as he placed his bow behind him and drew his sword.'' My my, a mighty general wants to take me on? This should be fun!'' Luke then drew his sword from inside his sleeeve. Cross caught a glimpse of his tattoos.' Those are not normal tattoos. I must be careful.'' Cross thought to himself as Luke rushed towards him. Cross quickly evaded his attack as if he saw it coming. He quickly moved behind Luke to attack but was blocked.'' Your not the only one capable of it. Now, let me show you something.'' Luke exclaimed as he took a step and Cross flew back and hit a wall.'' Damn it. He knows both of them. I must be careful.'' Cross said to himself as he drew a second sword. Cross was known for dual wielding. He was the best there was.'' Getting serious already? Your now realizing I'm no pushover? Trust me. I'm just getting started!'' Luke said as he rushed towards Cross and clashed blades.

Both of the two fighters dodged each other attacks and forced each other away with just glances. It was as if the two were equality matched but Cross started panting.'' It seems using the gates and the powers at the sametime is draining your enegry Cross.'' Luke said as Cross spit out blood.'' So not only do you know Haki, but your also aware of our techniques, just who are you?'' Cross asked. Luke started laughing.'' I'm nothing but a servant to the dark lord Inbuki. Now, let me show you how deadly I can be!'' Luke yelled as he rose up his sleeve and his tattoos started glowing red as Luke said something in a unknown language. Cross eyes widen as mysterious shadow flew towards him and a dark explosion occured in the ruined presidents office. Neku sweated as he rest in the plane as chaos continued. '' Cross..'' Neku muttered.

Leto helped Olivia inside, looking down at Neku in concern. If this kid didn't die on the way to escape it would be a god damn miracle. He raised his crossbow as he turned, shooting the upcoming demons with unmatched accuracy, shooting them through the head every time. He was sure to never waste a single arrow. He aimed to kill. No more, no less. "Strap in, we're getting out of here!" Leto hissed, jumping inside before slamming the door shut, demons beginning to slam their hands against the glass to try and get in afterwards. Leto strapped his crossbow away, quickly sitting on the pilot's seat as he began to turn on the engines, tuned up the helicopter's systems. The helicopter blades on either side began to spin, sending a surge of wind that pushed the demons away from the craft and off their feet. Leto pushed forward, lifting the helicopter as he slammed his way through the hangar, pushing any demons that got in the way. As they escaped the hangar it was only more chaos outside, demons flying out from the sky as they fought against the jets and the ground soldiers. They had to get away. "firetruck." He hissed, pushing forward as he barely missed and dodged both the demons and their own soldiers. He turned sharply to leave towards the direction of the ruins, a few demons following behind as they appeared on the radar. "Go to hell!" Leto screamed, pressing on the buttons as he sent a couple of projectiles at the demons behind, creating a loud and heavy explosion, covering the area in black smoke. Using it as a cover, Leto flew away from the city, watching it burn behind them into pieces. "...we're...on our own...we can only hope that those in the ruins...have not been compromised either."

(sorry for the delay)

Sister Olivia, caught up in the chaos of the demon attack and memories of the attack on the monastery, did what she could to protect schalors as the ran for shelter. Running into Neku and Leto outside the Archive was a piece of fortune she thanked the gods for, though it was cut short when she found Neku was wounded. With Leto carrying their injured comrade, Sister Olivia laid out suppressive fire to cover her team mates.

"Right behind you!" She called out as Leto called out to head for the hanger.

Trying to keep demons off their backs, Sister Olivia came in behind Leto and Neku to hear the latter's question about flying.

"No!" She answered as she reloaded. "There was very little call for flying in the Order."

An oversight she might suggest be rectified, if she and the Order survived this. She climbed into the helicopter after Leto and helped strap Neku in before strapping herself in. She held on tight as Leto piloted the craft out of the city. After taking a few deep breaths, she began working on Neku's wounds, pulling a first aid kit from under the seats. She paused in her work when Leto mentioned hope.

"We will find answers there." She assured him, certainty in her voice.

She placed a hand on Leto's shoulder as she spoke.

"No fear."

With that, she went back to trying to deal with Neku's wounds.

Neku slowly opened his eyes. He saw he was in the helicopter. He suddenly felt a sharp pain. He saw that his wound was bandaged and they weren't in the city as he saw was just forest and the night sky. He barely remembered what had happened. He saw Leo and Oliva talking as the helicopter was on auto-pilot.'' Hey, what happened guys?'' Neku asked as he soon remembered.'' Wait. I remember now. We're on our way to the ruins. If we get there in time, we can find out what those demons were and how to reclaim our city. Lets just pray General Draven is still in this direction.'' Neku said as he looked out the window. He noticed. The smoke from the far distance. The great city fell in a matter of hours. The world's hope was destroyed.

Meanwhile, Luke sat at the ruined president's desk. His tattoo arm was bandaged up. He held his sword as demons flew around as gun fire continued.'' It seems they won't stop resisting. Oh well. Now, time to focus on the other generals.'' Luke said as a shadow soon formed. Luke quickly sank to his knees.'' My lord.'' Luke said as the shadow started speaking in an unknown language.'' I see. I understand my dark lord Inbuki. I will hunt down those three soldiers and make sure they don't recover the knowledge of the gods.'' Luke said as he soon had wings appear and flew into the air in the same direction Neku and the others went.

Leto rested against the seat as he set up the autopilot, rubbing his temples and eyes. He could safely say that this was t he most stressful situation he ever had to deal with, and that he would be demanding a week long vacation to the nearest resort straight after saving whatever was left. "That's if the ruins even have anything to tell us." Leto said. He remembered Sister Olivia's words. No fear. He tried his best to keep that under check but...it was easier said than done. To see the city destroyed and only the three of them make it out from pure luck or divine intervention. It sucked. Whatever hope remained in him was slowly fading. He listened to Neku, rolling his eyes slightly. "General Draven. Let's hope we find him alive and not in the shape of a corpse, shall we." Leto said, staring up at the sky. He looked down at the GPS system on the helicopter. "The ruins are located among the woods. It isn't a place where a helicopter can land. I'll find us a clearing as close as possible to land this and we will reach the actual ruins on foot." Leto said as he searched ahead on the maps. He located one as relatively close to the ruins as possible, just east of them and manually landed the helicopter. Leto looked back at Neku and Sister Olivia. "Neku, can you walk, or should I carry you?"

After finishing bandaging Neku, Sister Olivia checked her SMG before the helicopter landed.

"Anyway we can contact the general before going into the ruins?" She asked.

As soon as the copter landed, the Revist Scholar dropped out, taking a knee to scan the area, her weapon ready.
