...Reality and Virtual Reality...the difference between these two seems like both Day and Night respectively but at the very same time, there is also the line where the two become connected with one another...

Professor Kizuna, Tokyo University Graduate, Founder and Director of Video Game Company "Kokoro and Kizuna", his opening speech and tagline on the unveiling of the Company's latest Online Video Game "Hearts and Bonds", the year 2018, the month March, the day the 17th.

Professor Kizuna at age 38 is accomplished for creating many types of Video Games of all kinds of genres but none more so then the Online JRPG kind, he is especially herald, as what he is called by the public, as "The Mirror King", for unlike anyone else up to now currently so far, he has created a perfect Virtual Reality simulation of a Online Video Game world, in other words: the graphics, the textures, they all seem so real life like that you can hardly distinguish the differences between the two, he has outclassed rival companies like both Nintendo and Monolith Soft for examples all on his very own and with his latest Online JRPG, Hearts and Bonds, he has clearly out exceeded himself, however...the latest rumours report on world wide TV news that for some very strange, very mysterious and especially very shocking reasons...he was found dead in his one man apartment, having committed suicide apparently with a bloody knife found next to his chest, his entire body laying dead on the floor, despite the death of the world renowned successful Video Game Designer, his Company nevertheless proceeded to unveil Hearts and Bonds to the public, in honour of his memory and also wanting his very last achievement to have been played and have been remembered, knowing that it was he that created all of this wonderful Virtual Online world to begin with...

The premise behind Hearts and Bonds is that it is set in a magical fairy tale world called "Wonderland", named after the children's book Alice in Wonderland and in Wonderland, the world stretches, as far, as the eye can see it, the skies, the oceans, you name it, it all looked so vast and especially beautiful in detail, it is said that before Professor Kizuna died, he created Hearts and Bonds with the intent of making it his very last Video Game ever and that he named it his masterpiece above all others, he dedicated the premise of Hearts and Bonds to both himself and especially his deceased late wife Kokoro who was an avid fan of Alice in Wonderland when she was a child, they even had a Alice in Wonderland themed wedding, the name of Kizuna's Company, Kokoro and Kizuna, is also named after his beloved wife, the story of Hearts and Bonds is that Wonderland, as the adventurers beta testing and playing the Video Game refer to it is actually called "Mythologica" and it is said to be the home of all kinds of real life existing events, people, fictional works, etc, for example, the person that was once feared and known, as Jack the Ripper appears in the Video Game, as a Boss type Character whilst for another example is the Fictional Character known, as Sherlock Holmes appears, as a NPC in the Game and provides clues to solving both puzzles and riddles that appear within the Game's dungeons in order to continue progressing forwards, however, the deals for clues must be paid for in "Saga Stones", the currency used within Hearts and Bonds and depending on the amount of Saga Stones that you have, you can even use them to outright pay Sherlock for the answer, however, to make sure that the Game isn't that easy in solving so easily and completing right from the get go, to make sure to keep the Online players both entertained and busy, the answer that they pay for with Saga Stones might be a trick answer and if the trick answer is used then they could end up in a trap or face an extremely powerful boss without being at the current right level to confront it, its a double edge sword gamble, besides being used, as the in-game currency, Saga Stones are also used to increase a player's attributes or be used, as magic stones during a fight that can be used to shoot fireballs, summon lightning bolts and/or bring about tsunamis, depending on the amount of Saga Stones that you currently have in possession, all of the Saga Stones come in one of each of the seven colours of the mystical rainbow that spreads all over Mythologica's world, of which is deeply rooted into the backstory of Hearts and Bonds' lore.

The actual story of Hearts and Bonds is that over a 1000 years ago, a both mighty and very powerful demon king once tried to rule the world of Mythologica but in the end was defeated by 20 heroes of light who by combining all of their powers into one had managed to seal away the demon king within the deepest, darkest, blackest abyss on the far edge corner of Mythologica known, as "Terra Dar-Ca", otherwise known, as "Dark Earth", it is here that all of the monsters within the Game manifest their appearances from, warping from the Dark Earth to the peaceful outer-lands of Mythologica and terrorize the populace whenever and wherever they can, however, to keep them from invading the peaceful towns, the 20 heroes had foreseen this and decided to use the very last of their magic to erect a barrier covering all of the towns that prevents monsters with evil hearts from entering the towns, thus thereby ensuring and keeping the safety of the citizens within the towns, fearing that the demon king might one day return, 10 of the heroes of light went on to become scholars, in hopes of learning how to regain their magic and/or hopefully pass it on to future students whilst 9 of the remaining 20 went on to become great legendary warriors who would become world renowned throughout all of Mythologica and pass on all of their different styles of fighting respectively to future students just like the scholars, as for the last hero, he went on to become both a scholar and a warrior but also a king, as well, of a both great and giant majestic empire that he would form from scratch, to keep an eye on Dark Earth, forever making sure that the minions that were still in loyal service to their sealed master weren't secretly plotting to break him out of his prison, the kingdom that would become the foundation for this said empire was forged on the very last green-lands of Mythologica, just outside the mountains leading to Dark Earth, the areas there being full of monster pits, barren wastelands and volcanoes, appropriate for the land where the demon king once ruled over and was born from, the kingdom was a giant city covered all over in green and, as such, it was called "The Emerald City, Aurachalcum" and it is ruled by its 1000 year old founder and current king named "OZ, the Emerald Cloaked Hero Emperor", OZ's human physical appearance is modeled after the Game's creator, Professor Kizuna.

The Kingdom of Aurachalcum spans all over the entire world of Mythologica itself and its empire is greatly vast in numbers, spanning over at least 500,000 people, although its capital city is bordered just outside of Dark Earth grounds, it is the hub world where all players first begin and start their individual respective experiences of adventures, here, players can open up shops, sell weapons, armour, items, all that you can think of and can customize your Character to the utmost limits that you possibly want, all players start off with 100,000 Saga Stones exactly and it is up to them what it is that they want to buy, however, if they want to open up shops, they must first go to a register counter and ask for a licence permit, by gaining licence permits, you can not only run shops but also guilds, as well, in the world of Mythologica, the guilds are altogether referred to, as "The Eternal Coalition", otherwise known by its full name, as "The United Guilds of Mythologica", there are many types of guilds, there are trading guilds, treasure and bounty hunting guilds, anything that marks your preference, although there are many separate guilds, they all abide by one rule: never to seek conflict with another guild, this is how all of the guilds get along well so far, however, there have been guilds that have broken this one solid iron clad rule and they are referred to, as "Rogue Guilds", Rogue Guilds do whatever they please whenever they please wherever they please and they aren't above stooping to cheating, hacking and killing off other peoples' characters just for the sheer fun of it, at first when Hearts and Bonds first came Online, there were only a small set of Rogue Guilds but now over the time and course the popularity of Hearts and Bonds has expanded, the Rogue Guilds have amassed too much in group numbers that the Video Game Company owners of Hearts and Bonds, the Board of Directors for Kokoro and Kizuna refuse to do anything about it, instead leaving the matter up in the air until they have found a peaceful way to solve things but in all honest truth, basically, they have just quit trying to reason with Rogue Guilds and thus let them be allowed within the Game, seeing no point in trying to stop their numbers from increasing, as they increase anyways, seeing this dilemma first hand for themselves, a handful of people decided to rise up against this tyranny led by the Rogue Guilds and form "The Administrators' Board for Free Online Players", otherwise known, as "T.A.B.F.O.P" for short, T.A.B.F.O.P have christened themselves, as the official legal players' admin guild that is in charge of overseeing all activities made within Hearts and Bonds, especially actions made by Rogue Guilds, they keep the rules, laws and regulations in line for those that want to enjoy a fun and happy experience Online playing Hearts and Bonds whilst all the while keep those in check that would try and upset the peaceful balance.

Before Professor Kizuna died, he said that the most important, fundamental part of playing Hearts and Bonds is learning how to coexist with one another and help each other, form parties, battle monsters, go on quests, anything to enjoy a happy, healthy experience of playing a Online Video Game, he wanted players to communicate with one another using the feelings within their hearts and the strengths of their bonds, hence the title, Hearts and Bonds, seeing faults made over so many times with other Online RPGs, Professor Kizuna brilliantly installed a sort of lock-down feature, where say like someone 10 years old wanted to create and portray a Character at least 5 years older then them and if they happened to meet a player who created the same age Character but was actually older in real life and they decided to form a romantic relationship within the Game with romantic relationships being allowed within the Game but without actually knowing one another in real life, to avoid that very deep repercussion from ever happening, having seen it in other Online Games and even Chat Forums, Professor Kizuna took this to heart, soul and mind and had worked on a very powerful code embedded within Hearts and Bonds where players can still create their own custom Characters, however, they must create a Character corresponding to their age, meaning that the Character that they create represents the actual age that they are in real life and not someone young portraying an older Character and/or vice versa, this was one issue that Professor Kizuna was deeply concerned about, as he wanted players if they do form romantic relationships Online within a Video Game to first get to know one another, as they would in real life and be aware of what consequences going on a Online Game, even just going Online the Internet at all are like, involving disastrous results, hence the code he created is deeply embedded into Hearts and Bonds' primary core programming and cannot be removed whatsoever, even if hacking was used, players had to play, as though they looked like their real selves and real ages back in real life, it was one of the safety protocols that Professor Kizuna had included to ensure Hearts and Bonds did not end up just, as any other careless and reckless Online Video Game, players that were 15 in real life had to play, as 15 year old Characters and players that were 10 years old had to play, as 10 year old Characters, this was the one solemn rule that Professor Kizuna had made sure would never ever be broken even if people possibly tried to break it, Professor Kizuna took precautions such, as this into consideration before finally completing and finishing creating the final completed version of Hearts and Bonds before his suicide.

The vast world of Mythologica can be explored through cities levitating high up in the sky using Saga Stones to levitate them or create air pocket bubbles underneath the ocean to create cities where people live underwater and have had their Characters adapted to that setting so much that they can evolve to become like Mermaids for example and breathe underwater, exploring places normal Characters that players create can't even explore and collect rare items, hence why parties are formed from all sorts of species, Human, Vampire, Werewolf and other Mythological creatures, by creating say like a Minotaur Character, you can traverse volcanic landscapes and not have to worry about your HP going down so very quickly, which can happen in the case of ordinary Human Characters, parties are recommended to be formed of all types of species and not just a group made up entirely of Human based Characters, also, there are Guilds that Accept only certain species Characters like say a Guild for Vampires only and/or a Guild for Werewolves only, these Guilds are called "Mythos Guilds", named in honour of Mythologica and besides traversing dangerous terrain, you can also visit casinos, nightclubs, chapels, underground cities you name it, anything and everything can be explored within Hearts and Bonds, the Game that contains it all, as the Board of Directors at Kokoro and Kizuna call the Game.

The Game was released in Japan on the year 2018, in the month of March and on the date the 17th, among the players trying out the Game for the very first time is a young 16 old teenager named The Protagonist (Temporary Name), the Protagonist decides to create a Samurai class type Character that he calls within the Game "The Protagonist/II" (Temporary Name), the Protagonist/II wields a Human sized Katana, as long, as his very own body, the Protagonist/II starts off in Hearts and Bonds in the hub world central city of the Kingdom of Aurachalcum, here, his story, begins...

(What does everyone think of the premise? please reply before i do the Character Sign-Up Sheets and Rules.).

I'm pretty interested in the premise and see a lot of MMORPG-style potential for fun within this RP.  The interest check is very thick, but from what I see it is high-fantasy and harbours concepts not often seen, like the limited underwater exploration thing where players adapted to water can collect rare items and artefacts.

My time is limited as of late, but I would love to join this when I have a fair amount of time on my hands, probably with a bakeneko to better match the Oriental feel of this RP, or maybe a D&D-style druid or warlock.  A lot of openness here, which is lovely.

So its good? a lot of people have been recommending to me that i should add more backstory to my RPs so i decided to do just that with this RP.

Ah yes, I remember reading that conversation.

Do not worry; it is a good premise that shows much intrigue, though the original post came out a bit more like a core dump and is chockablock with information not many people would have the patience to read fully.  I am sadly one of those people, though I strove to read through the premise three times to have everything written make sense to me.  This is probably the reviewer / writer within me, however, and not everyone is like me.

When you compile a sign-ups and discussion thread and, later, the roleplay, organisation plays a strong role in making an idea stand out of the crowd and really shine.  You've done well with the other three critical parts, however -- those being targetting a certain audience, worldbuilding, and having dedication -- so good on you there!  Your diligence over the past few months is impressive and has not gone unrewarded, especially when it comes to the last critical part.  =)

I'd be interested in giving this a try.

I'd be interested in giving this a go as well.

I'm interested.

Awesome, thank you everyone, basically, the story is inspired by both the franchises of .Hack and Sword Art Online respectively, just to have a heads up, does everyone know about either of those two franchises?

I know a bit about both, chiefly Sword Art online. I've only seen probably the first ten episodes of the series, but it is enough to give me an idea of what it is. .Hack I've seen gameplay at a friend's house and I understand the basic concept but not much more than that.

Well Virtual Reality will have the same overall concept about players getting trapped in an Online Video Game and treating it, as though it was real life, i'm still trying to figure out what Starter Character Classes i should introduce to the RP, for example, Paladins are the overall basic Starter Character Class and they are based on the Warrior Class from Final Fantasy, everyone starts off in Hearts and Bonds, as Freelancers but before they are allowed to take on Quests and/or join Guilds, they must first select a Starter Character Class that they feel will benefit them, Paladins normally wield both Swords and Shields and are dressed in armour that makes them look like they were palace captains of the guards and/or something like that, the first few Starter Character Classes that will be available are six, Paladins, Ninjas, Samurais, Mages, Summoners and Hunters, Paladins like i said before normally wield Swords and Shields and are the most basic of Character Classes, Ninjas are the most secretive of Character Classes, they are stealthy, can hide themselves and use just about all sorts of Jutsus, they normally use Ninja Tools in battle such, as Ninja Scrolls and Shurikens for examples, Samurais are the most honourable of the Character Classes and they don't fight dirty whatsoever at all, they wield Katanas in battle, however, the benefit of that is is that depending on the player, they can wield Katanas by the sides of their legs or carry two handed Swords that are Human sized in appearance and carry them on their backs, depending on both their choice and current Character level, the size, length and/or shape of their Swords can change upon leveling up or upon what size that they want it at when they first start off playing Hearts and Bonds, as a Samurai, Mages are the normal spellcasters within the Game and they can use all sorts of Magic, White Magic, Black Magic, you name it, they normally wield Staffs and Grimoires, however, using Magic takes up a lot of energy and, as you level up and learn more spells that require more MP to cast them due to what class of level they are, you will more Saga Stones, the Stones needed to perform magic in the first place and depending on how many that you currently have, the more high level spells you can cast, Summoners are like Mages, however, instead of performing ordinary Magic, they call upon familiars to help them in battle, monsters that are willing to betray their own kind and side with the players, however, for the right amount of Saga Stones that is, in the same case, as Mages, the more you level up, the more higher level familiar you can summon to act, as your partner and fight alongside you in battle, finally, there is the Hunter Character Class, although they look like ferocious berserkers, wild men and cave people in appearance, they actually have the strongest physical attributes in all of the Starter Character Classes, they wield weapons like both Axes and Hammers for example and they normally live out in the wild lands of Hearts and Bonds, they are usually Treasure and Bounty Hunters and when in battle, they can use their instincts to go wild and berserk to let out the full force of their physical strength, these are the six Starter Character Classes i had in mind but please tell me if i should use any other Starters to go along with if some of my Starters seem too powerful to Start with.

Here are my opinions.

Paladins - Self explanatory. Would rely on heavy armor and the use of swords, shields, and greatswords, like knights. Higher defense than the rest of the classes.

Ninjas - Stealth who use lightweight weapons including shurekin, bow and arrow, daggers and so on. Rely on critical attacks and most agile of the classes.

Samurais - Highest poise of the classes, which counts for counter attacks.

Hunters - Barbarians with heavy battle axes and war hammers with animalistic, wild instincts. Highest strength from the rest of the classes.

However, I think that Mages and Summoners seem too similar to me. One summons while the other casts, seems too specific, considering the mage can have so much variety of magic. Maybe the Summoner can be a subclass to the Mage class? This would allow to specify the type of magic the user uses, too. Standard Mages with standard offensive magic, Healers with light and support magic, Necromancers with dark magic, and Summoners able to summon creatures to aid them in battle. Highest magic resistance than the rest of the classes. Unless you replace summoners with Beast Tamers of the sorts that tame beasts and are able to call upon them.

Just my opinion. I love everything so far, though! I think you have a solid structure for a full on RP!

Not in depth, but I believe I do know the basics well enough.

Hmm...well because this is my 1st time doing a RP like this, would you like to help serve, as the 2nd in command for it maybe Stardustblade358? I don't really know how Online Video Games work so i don't know what Classes Characters should start off with and what Classes they should receive upon leveling up so yeah, is it alright to ask for help?

Not in depth, but I believe I do know the basics well enough.

Yeah, the basics are that there is an Online Video Game which is very popular in Japan, however, things go terribly wrong inside the Game whilst playing it, like people ending up in comas for example, a virus is spreading out throughout the Game and its up to the heroes to stop that virus and save the coma victims before its too late, although it sounds like both .Hack and Sword Art Online, especially in the case of the former franchise, Virtual Reality is in itself a story about how to play an Online Game, what to do when playing an Online Game, how it compares to real life in some aspects and realizing how you can and cannot compare the two to one another, know what i mean?

Just before i forget the following ideas, these ideas will serve, as key terms that will be both vital and central to the story-line of this RP, here they are:

"Data Hackers"-Illegal internet users who try to Hack Hearts and Bonds' Online Video Game Data in order to use the Game, as both a loophole and/or a bypass to steal information, credit, files and/or all other sorts of things on the internet from people who have saved both important and/or sensitive also both information and/or topics on there.

"Coma Virus"-A Virus that will appear early on after the prologue of the RP's story, where a both very strange and very mysterious Virus appears from out of nowhere within Hearts and Bonds also both very strangely and very mysteriously and causes players that it infects to fall into Comas in real life somehow, it is highly believed to be associated with the Data Hackers who in turn are again also highly believed to be associated with the Rogue Guilds in Hearts and Bonds, the Data Hackers secretly hiding among the Rogue Guilds, as both protection for themselves and a secret cover to carry out whatever it is they are scheming, not caring both whatever and/or especially whoever that they hurt in the process.

"Static Cacophonic Syndrome"-The Syndrome that appears within players that usually fall prey to the Coma Virus, just before each and every single Coma victim falls said victim to the Virus, the very 1st thing that they all hear before that happens is that they experience static noise within their Virtual Reality headsets and their Characters start to flicker into static both electricity and/or particles, those that survive both this and the overall Coma Virus are called "The Fittest Living", a reference to Survival of the Fittest and the title meaning again overall The Fittest are Living their lives whilst the Coma victims are basically trapped in limbo, neither Living nor Dying, hence The Fittest are the ones who are currently Living, know what i mean?

"The Fittest Living and The Worthy Living"-Asides from The Fittest, there are also players that self proclaim themselves, as "The Worthy Living", players who have the gall to go so far and say that the Coma victims who ended up in their said individual respective Comas were not Worthy of playing Hearts and Bonds and that they are better off staying in their Comas in real life and/or worse, treating their lives like they were nothing but big fat jokes, treating them, as though they were only just parts of the Game and nothing more then that, the reason they call themselves The Worthy is because they believe that both fate and the gods had both shined and smiled upon down The Worthy and thus, The Worthy get to go on living their lives in reality and playing Hearts and Bonds, like nothing has changed, to put The Worthy in simple terms: they are scum who look down upon others from up a oh so both high and mighty perch and believe themselves to be special above all other players within Hearts and Bonds, hence they developed The Worthy Living cult, to show, as a means of demonstrating power and superiority, they come in all shapes and sizes and appear among even normal players, they can be seen within top ranked Guilds and even T.A.B.F.O.P, the players' very own administration observation over all of Hearts and Bonds, you could go on to say that unlike Rogue Guilds to a certain degree, they are truly the worst of Humanity has to offer when they show themselves off Online...

"The Heroine"-The Protagonist's both childhood sweetheart and love interest in real life who introduces him to Hearts and Bonds during the prologue of the main story-line but unfortunately, she becomes one of if not the very 1st victim that falls to the Coma Virus, after finishing teaching the tutorial to the Protagonist near the end of the prologue, suddenly, the Heroine's Character starts glitching, succumbing to Static Cacophonic Syndrome until finally, her Character falls dead to the ground, appearing both completely and utterly lifeless, as though her real self in reality had suddenly died from a heart attack with no good reason, as to why whatsoever, the Protagonist becomes both heartbroken and devastated from his both childhood friend and beloved one true love's loss and because of this both very strange and very mysterious outcome, the Protagonist holds himself up in his room, not coming out for ages, he became disillusioned by thinking that the reason that the Heroine suddenly fell into a Coma was because of a Virus that had found its way into the Game and determined to find out just what the hell had caused this Virus to appear, as well on the off chance at 99% against 1% percentage that he could help wake the Heroine up from her Coma, the Protagonist stays logged on playing Hearts and Bonds, trying to figure everything out and not ever giving up, not once, not ever, that was his very own personal dogma and because of his both sheer will and determination, he finally gets a lead on both groups of players called Data Hackers and a impossibly leveled up monster inside Hearts and Bonds that some players call "The 1st Signal-Xcythe of the 13 Blades"...

"The 13 Signals of Communication-The Callings of the Demon King"-There is a Online rumour that has recently spread about all over the entire world of Hearts and Bonds, speaking about 13 level 100+ monsters, real life players and CPU monsters both alike can only level up from 1 to 100 and no more, no less then that, however, these 13 monsters in question are rumoured to not have been in the Game's original programming and that when the Coma Virus had first appeared, they appeared alongside it, most notably, a monster resembling the Grim Reaper carrying a monster sized 13 bladed Scythe upon its back, players who went up against this monster and had just barely managed to escape its wrath after both foolishly and recklessly engaging it in battle, hoping that they would go beyond the level parameters set by the Game and level up just like the monster they were facing called this Grim Reaper like monster Xcythe, rumours began spreading around about how it was originally apart of the original 1st version of Hearts and Bonds but for some both strange and mysterious reason, it was cut from the final version, however, according to background plot of its rumoured history, it was meant to serve, as the 1st of 13 Signals all together that would bring about the return of the Demon King, these Signals would serve, as the Demon King Calling Out, warning players of its impending return, as the final boss of the entire Game, at any rate, the Protagonist, sort of taking an interest about these rumours just goes along with what his gut is telling him and tries to find both Data Hackers and this Xcythe monster, hoping it would lead him one step closer to awaking the Heroine from her Coma in real life...as for the 13 Signals, their names are the following:

"The 1st Signal-Xcythe of the 13 Blades"-A Grim Reaper carrying a 13 bladed monster sized Scythe, it bares a stark white coloured X shaped scar across its left burning crimson coloured eye whilst it has no eyeball for its right, it wears a jet pitch black coloured Grim Reaper's cloak all over its entire body when concealed and when it takes off the cloak, it reveals its entire body to resemble a spiky jagged tall creature with spikes prongs all over parts of its body, it has a giant jet pitch black coloured X shaped scar on the center of its stark white coloured skinned torso and it wears curly shaped elf like shoes with large spikes at the very tip of them, it has a normal left hand and a giant right hand that it carries its Scythe in and has the Roman Numeral number I inscribed on the entirety of its back.

"The 2nd Signal-Xiva of the 13 Voices"-A Diva looking Opera Singer like monster that uses its beautiful sounding voice to fight with, it has the Roman Numeral number II inscribed across its small mouth, making it look massive, it wears a veil of both stark white and emerald green colours, it wears, as its primary colour on its long dress with small shades of brown at the very bottom of the dress itself, it uses a psychic shield to protect itself with whilst fighting with its voice, using both telekinesis and psychokinesis to help it fight in battle, although these are formidable weapons indeed, its primary weapon is its voice, it wears a Phantom of the Opera like mask that is shaped like a giant crescent moon that covers the right side entirety of its face, it has very long fingernails that it uses to protect itself with and counterattack should someone try to attack it whilst its on guard mode.

"The 3rd Signal-Xwins of the 13 Doppelgangers"-Two small children looking like monsters that are dressed in both red and blue respectively, the one wearing red is a girl and her face resembles the left side of an X whilst the one wearing blue is a boy and his face resembles the right side of an X, the red one is taller then the blue one but the two are always seen holding hands, the two's special ability is to create clones upon clones of itself, the trick into fighting the battle against these monsters is to spot the clones, the clones will be wearing the opposite's colours and have the other side of the X shaped face that belongs to the original twin, to find the originals among the clones, you must attack the red one with the left side of an X for a face and the blue one with the right side of an X for a face, the clones will have the opposite colours and the opposite Xs then the two originals, the red one wields a crossbow and the blue one wields a broadaxe, they can join their powers together to summon a huge meteorite to send crashing down upon the players, during the fight when both twins have reached exactly half of their HP, they will combine into one to form an entirely new being called "The 3rd Signal-Xask of the 13 Faces", this new combined monster takes on the appearance of a giant orb shaped being with a giant X plastering its front, it can create skeleton like arms from around its entire body that can use multiple elemental attacks depending on the colour of the arm, if its red it will use fire and if its blue it will use water, in the case of blue, if its light blue it will use water and if its dark blue it will use ice, all the skeleton like arms must be destroyed before attacking the X shaped face, upon breaking the X shaped face, the true face of the monster will be revealed resembling famous paintings of art like the Mona Lisa or The Scream for examples, it will then summon multiple smaller skeleton like arms carrying large monster sized shields to defend itself with, to defeat the monster you must defeat its portrait faces that take on many, many forms each time you destroy the X shaped face, as the X shaped face regenerates itself over time if you do not get rid of all of the shields defending the portrait face and stop it from regenerating the X shaped face that serves, as its protective cocoon shield, to defend itself besides the shields, the shields are shaped like demon eyeballs and can shoot beams of jet pitch black coloured darkness right at you, sometimes giving you status effects if it hits you multiple times about 1 to 5 times each per say, status effects including temporary blindness and dazing, the Roman Numeral number III for Xask appears on, as one of the portraits that you must destroy.

"The 4th Signal-Xgre of the 13 Forests"-The most massive sized of all the 13 Signals, it carries a large club over its body and swings it with both hands in order to give more strength and power to its attacks, however, this takes at least 1 to 2 minutes to carry out, a short and small time to attack its legs, its weak points, the monster behemoth is draped in wolf skin clothing all over its entire body, it wears a dead snake, as a belt and has toenails that are shaped curly, after the behemoth makes its powerful two handed swing, it will drop right on its backside towards the ground and take about 3 minutes to recover, you must destroy the curled shaped toenails before proceeding to attack the belly, the center of the behemoth's pound smashing, after you smash it bit after bit in the stomach, it will fall on its knees and will look like its about to puke, during this time it will spit out shadowy husks from its mouth in the form of burps, the shadowy husks are very dangerous, as they can hit you and if one lands a critical hit on you then you are drained of all of your MP except 1 point, you must carry Elixirs with you during this battle, as magic attacks prove more offensive when you combine them with your physical attacks, after striking its head one blow after the next, the behemoth will start to tumble over on its back completely, however, just when it appears to be dead, off-screen, it pukes out a large shadowy husk that proves to be the more formidable opponent, it is called "The 4th Signal-Xeaf of the 13 Trees", this shadowy husk will summon leafs of shadow to its beck and call, the leafs will fall to the ground and turn into very powerful monsters to help fight alongside the shadowy husk, the husk will hover all over the stage, it has lower HP then the behemoth but has more magic power and is considerably dangerous when it can restore its MP each time you kill one of its monster servants, at max MP, it can shower you with a rain of over a million of small meteors that can severely break through your guard and damage your HP quite heavily if not equipped with strong defense armour, to defeat the husk, you should use light based magic and equipment to deal more damage, the husk will then summon a tree which means it will summon a much more very powerful monster to fight in its stead, the monster will protect the husk until you defeat it but upon defeating it, the husk's MP will be fully restored, allowing it to unleash its previous dealing blow but with more oomph to it, after that it will take 2 minutes to completely recover, you can critically damage it at this point if properly equipped, the Roman Numeral number IV for Xeaf appears on the leafs and the tree it uses to summon its monster henchmen with.

"The 5th Signal-Xwarf of the 13 Lords"-The most smallest but formidable of the Signals up to this point is the 5th Signal, it appears in Human form, in the shape of a Dwarf, however, it is not to be underestimated, its power in physical strength is brutal compared to that of the 4th Signal Xgre, the Xwarf fights using hand to hand combat, it can summon two hammers to fight with later on after you have damaged it significantly, the Xwarf has a long stark white coloured beard and wears golden coloured armour fit for a king, the hammers can be combined to form a pole with two hammers at each end, the hammers can deal critical damage and can severely harm a player's HP, after hitting the player, it causes their HP to stay, as it is, not even the strongest of potions can heal the party's wounds, the good news is that the Xwarf has basically limited HP so although it makes up for that in strength and physical attributes, its physical defense is weak whilst its magical defense is strong, you will need to be quick and able to beat the Xwarf before it can beat you, you should build a party that requires at least 2 Ninjas in it to be both humble and steady on their feet and quickly strike when the time is right, if the Xwarf hits the ground with one end of the double hammer pole, it can bring forth a hell-fire blaze from right below the ground upwards, sending you backing into a corner if not carefully prepared and having a strategy planned out, Xwarf will shed its armour nearing the end of its HP and become, as light, as a feather, moving at incredibly fast speeds and ready to strike whenever it wants to, Healing Mages should be required at this point in the party, be prepared with a well able and well leveled up party for you can only have up to 8 people each and you cannot switch out during a fight, you have to stay with that party unless the party agrees in full consent to retry the battle from scratch all over, the Roman Numeral number V appears, as one line on one of Xwarf's hammers and another line on the other of Xwarf's hammers and when bashed together, they make up the completed Roman Numeral number V.

"The 6th Signal-Xuppet of the 13 Strings"-The most scary looking of the Signals, this resembles a broken jack in the box with a sun shaped mask for a face, however, on the left side does the face have three eyes and on the right side one giant single eye, the jack in the box has saw-blades for hands and can jump around the field like it was simply hopping and skipping, if it hops and skips on you, you will receive a lot of damage to your HP, you should have Mages cast protective barriers on you so that you don't lose too much HP, the jack in the box can use an alternate form in battle if it so wishes, it can attach Strings from the ceiling down to itself to its back like spider webs and can pull itself out from the box it was using just before to jump around in, emerging, as its legs are tons of huge spiders that make up its legs and allow it to walk around like a normal person, it can pull multiple weapons from out of its box and attack you with them, a flamethrower, a mace, two machine guns, a two handed sword using only one arm and finally last but not least its most deadliest weapon, a smaller jack in the box that if you fail to open correctly, it will show the player's worst nightmare to them off-screen and cause instant death, you must have revival potions on you at this point during the battle, to severely weaken the monster, you must destroy the strings attaching it to the ceiling, once all 5 strings have been broken, it will fall to the ground like a broken puppet, crumbled on-top of the spiders that were being used to support its weight, it will fidget, trying to get back up but now is the chance to strike before it can fully recuperate, you must destroy all of its eyes in order to land it a crushing defeat, the spiders used to carry it, if you come into contact with them, you will be temporarily poisoned, the Roman Numeral number VI appears on the front of Xuppet's jack in the box box.

"The 7th Signal-Xightning of the 13 Shocks"-The 7th Signal has no physical form and instead appears, as nothing more then just a mass of pure energy, defeating it with physical attacks will be quite difficult, you should have Mages cast a spell called Spellbound on your physical fighters in order to land damage on the 7th Signal, Spellbound is an advanced spell that you can only master once you have mastered both a sword type class and a staff type class, Spellbound can enhanced the physical fighters' weapons by imbuing them with pure magical energy but this will take up a lot of MP for the spell-casters casting Spellbound, the 7th Signal will release electrical discharges at you both wherever and whenever it can, its like a wild animal, it moves randomly and strikes randomly, the 7th Signal mainly uses thunderbolts to attack with and when its preparing a massive thunderbolt to strike the players with it forms in the shape of a thundercloud, the thundercloud slowly charges up over time and if it releases all of its energy all at once then it will deal massive damage to the party, after defeating the 7th Signal in its pure energy form, it will begin to take shape and be reborn anew, it will transform into a deity of thunder called "The 7th Signal-Xhunder of the 13 Bolts", Xhunder will resemble a combination between the Japanese deity of both thunder and lightning named Raijin and the Character from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West named Sun Wukong, the newly reformed 7th Signal will be a tough match to beat, it will have a both magical and physical barrier protecting it at all times and whilst riding on-top of its storm-cloud, it can charge electricity within it and discharge that electricity once it has been fully powered, if that happens and you are attacked by the fully powered discharged electricity, all of the party will be lowered down to 1 HP point each, however, there is a way to combat the new 7th Signal, you must attack from behind, as its back will be its most vulnerable weak spot, however, that weak spot will be protected by its tail, which can send off small amounts of electricity, not, as strong but nearly, as easily powerful, you must destroy the tail first before you can attack the back, after destroying the tail, you will only have a few seconds to do critical damage to the back of the body before the tail regenerates and the storm-cloud begins recharging to discharge, the Roman Numeral number VII appears on the storm-cloud that Xhunder rides on-top of.

"The 8th Signal-Xonder of the 13 Miracles"-The 8th Signal is a difficult opponent to defeat, it is capable of transforming into all of the past Signals that you have defeated up to now, in order to defeat the 8th Signal you must first defeat the first Signals that were fought before it, however, this time the enemies all have lesser HP when totaled it should just add up to a combined HP count all together, after defeating the copy of the 7th Signal, the 8th Signal finally reveals itself, it is a giant demonic eyeball that has multiple snake like arms with hands, feet, mouths and ears on all of them each, in other-words, there are four arms, one arm is made up entirely of hands, one arm is made up entirely of feet, one arm is made up entirely of mouths and one arm is made up entirely of ears, to attack the demonic eyeball, you must first destroy the four arms protecting it, the hands and mouths arms spread out the most and do more physical damage whilst the feet and ears arms stay in behind to cover the eyeball and cast protective spells on it whilst casting healing regenerative spells on the hands and mouths arms taking damage for the eyeball, after destroying all four arms, the eyeball will then grow tall legs from below and a giant sickle shaped tail from behind the back of its head, the sickle shaped tail can shoot off multiple laser beams and psychic blade shaped attacks from the very tip of its tail and if hit by the psychic blades, you will become temporarily paralyzed, the laser beam attacks can chip off a very big amount of health from you if not properly leveled up and wearing special equipment to boost your attributes with, to knock the eyeball off balance, you must attack the tall legs first, as they are literally looking like they are just about to give way from holding up the huge eyeball they are connected to, by damaging the legs, you will cause the eyeball to fall to the ground and the sickle shaped tail will be latched into its head, sending it HP regeneration second after second, at least 100% percent of its health is restored each second, you must use this opportunity to strike the eyeball with everything that you have so that you can outdo the fast rate that it recovers, the Roman Numeral number VIII appears in the center of Xonder's eyeball.

"The 9th Signal-Xarbarian of the 13 Warriors"-Appearing, as a giant man in a clad suit of silver armour, this Signal lets out a demonic roar to show its status, it summons a giant sword that it wields with both hands to its side and with just a simple swing, it can cleave everybody's HP in half, the 9th Signal moves slowly so you must attack its armour before it can strike, although its feet move slowly, its arms are supremely fast and the swing of its sword can just about end your Character's life in two turns, be careful how you approach this battle, it may seem simple and easy to beat during the first half but during the second half is when things start to get serious, the 9th Signal removes its armour and reveals a bulking, grotesque physique under it, it shows a giant face latched onto the belly of the monster, it screams out, sometimes temporarily paralyzing your entire party, if you move in too close, the giant face will eat your Characters and spit at least half of them out with 0 health whatsoever, the 9th Signal powers up when it lets out a roar and when using its sword to attack you, the giant face imprinted on the monster's torso will spew fire from its mouth onto the host's sword, creating a fire sword that will set your Characters ablaze and burn everything in your possession that is made of wood and if it is highly flammable, you will end up being attacked by your items' flammability, things like carrying small hand held bombs and/or grenades for examples will set you aflame if hit by the monster's fire sword, to defeat the 9th Signal you must attack the face carved on the monster's body, to do this, you should have the leader of your party order your long ranged fighters and spell-casters to move slightly away from the enemy and begin casting high level spells that can damage the monster face, the host will notice this however and will begin charging a spin attack where it tornadoes its way through everyone and end up leaving them with one HP point left each, you need to quickly heal if you wish to stop the enemy's next attacks, the Roman Numeral number IX appears, as a line running down the middle of Xarbarian's head and, as a giant X running across the giant face that is embodied on his entire torso.

"The 10th Signal-Xhase I of the 13 Gods", "The 11th Signal-Xhase II of the 13 Gods" and "The 12th Signal-Xhase III of the 13 Gods" are all fought together, as a unified body, Xhase I consists of the enemy's legs, Xhase II consists of the enemy's upper body and Xhase III consists of the enemy's head, Xhase I's legs have eyeballs all over the pair of them, Xhase II has a giant eyeball in the center of the body's torso and also has eyeballs in the palms of the pair of hands and Xhase III has a giant eyeball that serves, as its entire head, Xhase is the final Signal to be confronted before the final boss battle of the entire RP, he is the penultimate boss of the RP, during the fight with Xhase, you must fight his body in the order of the number his I, II and III forms belong to, first you must fight his legs, then the upper body and then lastly the head, each body part is very hard and very difficult to defeat, Xhase summons Xcythe's Scythe to aid him in combat, as a floating weapon to defend himself with, the legs all shoot beams from all of the eyeballs that are shown upon the legs, causing a good percentage of damage to the party added to Xcythe's Scythe helping Xhase in combat, use must destroy five eyeballs on each leg in order to defeat Xhase I, after defeating Xhase I you move onto Xhase II and must attack the central eyeball within his chest, however, instead of just floating around randomly now, Xcythe's Scythe is now held in both hands by Xhase II who swings it, unleashing devastating Wind Scythe attacks one after another, plus he holds the weapon very tightly to his chest, making it virtually impossible to attack, in order to attack the eyeball within the chest, you must first destroy Xcythe's Scythe, upon destroying Xcythe's Scythe, you render Xhase II's arms immobilized, leaving his chest straight to attack, after destroying the Xhase II part of the battle, you move onto the third and final part, Xhase III, the most difficult of all Signals to appear up to now and defeat, Xhase II's arms regain their motor controls and float above to where the head is, they proceeded to phase through Xhase III's head together and upon doing so, they reappear, as two more heads of Xhase III, the middle head jumps out of the battle but not before granting both its two other hands special unique properties, the left Xhase III head is now called Sword Xhase and the right Xhase III head is now called Shield Xhase, one possesses the ultimate spear and the other the ultimate shield respectively, Sword Xhase attacks using physical head bashing brutality whilst Shield Xhase attacks by keeping itself away from the party and proceeds to attack with the most powerful of spells shown within the RP, you must defeat both at the very same time because one of the other will fully regenerate if you don't kill both near to one another in a shared time-span, Sword Xhase and Shield Xhase share a combination attack called Xesperado, by pooling and combining all of their magic into one single blast, Sword and Shield Xhase can blow up all of the party and leave only but one party member alive to proceed on fighting, after defeating both Sword and Shield, the final Xhase III appears, he transforms into a corrupted version of Xcythe called Xcythe of Xhase, Xcythe of Xhase basically functions like the original Xcythe did in his boss battle but with his attributes all way boosted to a very high significant detail, Xcythe of Xhase summons a more demonic looking version of his Scythe then the previous one and by using a technique called Xesperado Xnfinite, he can cleave all of the party's HP to 0, the technique only ever occurs when it wants to, in other-words you cannot stop it by any means necessary whatsoever but if your very lucky, you just might win the battle without the technique ever actually appearing whatsoever, you must get by this point with 100% critical attack damage certainty weaponry if you wish to win this battle very quickly, just in case if you should ever feel the wrath of Xesperado Xnfinite and do not wish to face it again and win the battle will all quick haste, upon finally defeating Xhase, you can confront the 13th and final Signal of the RP, the final boss...Xhase does not have Roman Numeral numbers, however when confronting his Xcythe of Xhase form, instead of having the Roman Numeral I plastered on Xcythe's entire back is it replaced by the Roman Numeral number XII

"The Final Signal-EXar-Ca, the True Demon King Terror"-I won't spoil this battle since its the final boss.

These are all key phrases to the RP, sorry for repeating the same sentences over and over, i couldn't think of how to say these ideas another way but yeah, these story plot ideas will all appear in the RP, please tell me what do you honestly think of them?

I was going to reply to this sooner but didn't-- I am very interested in this! I love video-game story lines :)

:], The story is primarily based off .Hack, .Hack//G.U. especially but the themes of Virtual Reality itself are meant to be their very own, they are meant to tell the mature themes that are what is it like playing an Online Video Game? is it safe to play? even though you may know both friends and/or family that are Online playing the Game alongside you, there are also strangers playing the Game and the RP's story will ask you the question: Is this safe to play? is this safe to play an Online Video Game? with people i both do and don't know in real life also playing this very same Game alongside me? who will i know? who will be telling the truth? what am i to believe? what can i believe? what should i believe? is it safe going Online this Game? heck, even going Online the internet itself with other people i don't know? who can i trust? who should i trust? what choices should i make and what consequences will go along with those choices? what will happen when i make those choices?

Its all about the realm of possibility, its about learning how to be safe whilst having fun playing an Online Video Game and learning how to both cope and mature, as a person through playing an Online Game, learning the rules, laws, dos and don'ts of Online Gaming and that despite everything else, despite all the safeties that you have to take into account when going on not just the Online Video Game but also the internet itself, as well, interacting with new people who you have never met before in real life but can both possibly and especially hopefully learn to trust in them, as they learn to trust in you, going through the very same predicaments that you yourself the player are facing, despite all that, its all about truly having fun with new people with shared keen interests, socializing with not just new people but also acquaintances, friends and/or family who just so happen to be playing the very same Online Game that you are, you send e-mails, friend requests, battle strategies, form parties of people from 1 up to 8 individually respectively, battle weak and strong monsters alike, go on quests, open up shops so long, as you have a permit that says you are certified and that you can sell either both this and/or that, enter dungeons, try and complete both very hard and very difficult challenges depending on the levels they are at and the levels that both you your Character and the rest of your player party's Characters are currently at or just follow the main story-line and see where it will take everyone, the key theme of Virtual Reality is about learning the both ups and downs of Online Video Gaming itself, what mistakes you make when playing Online Gaming and how you can learn from them and especially above all else, learning new ways to make new friends and how to truly have fun with them, they in return, as well, its about socialization and learning how to craft real life bonds from just a Video Game alone and how those bonds will affect each and every single one of us deep within inside all of our very hearts, hence the title of the Online Game: Hearts and Bonds, in terms of the story, that's what the creator of the Game was trying to emphasize on, he wanted players to learn how to communicate with one another truly, through their hearts and with the bonds that they could make on the Video Game, even if it was just a Video Game alone, he still wanted to bring people together and wanted them all to learn about the importance of communication, how one should strive to make themselves better in real life whilst doing so on the Game and that above all else, having fun alongside fellow players who equally want the very same thing just, as you do, it is through our hearts and the bonds that we make that this Online Video Game can be called truly, finally 100% complete...that, is the Online Video Game: Hearts and Bonds...

What do you think :]?

The official Role-Play Forum has now been started up and so here are the following both Character Sheet Sign-Ups and Rules:

Rules:

No Swearing above age 15.

No Romance above age 12.

No God-Modding.

Please use proper grammar.

If your Real-Life Character is age 15 in Real-Life then your Role-Play Character must also be age 15 in Hearts and Bonds, this is one of the Rules set within Hearts and Bonds, as to avoid any disasters with other Role-Players who are older or especially younger then your Character, know what i mean? for example, a limited time Marriage event is set later on within the RP, your Characters must both be of the proper age to participate in that event, the proper age is 16 and up, Hearts and Bonds is coded so that even if your Real-Life Character creates a Character older or younger then his/her own age, they must always stick with a Character that is the very same age, as your Real-Life Character, this is a staple Rule that cannot be broken whatsoever within Hearts and Bonds and the overall Virtual Reality RP, you may create a Real-Life Character that is older or younger then you, however, their Hearts and Bonds Characters must be the very same age that the Role-Players are in the Real-Life world, sorry but again know what i mean?

You can only have 1 Real-Life Character but you can also have up to 3 Role-Play Characters if you feel like your Real-Life Character can handle multitasking 3 Role-Play Characters all at once.

You can join multiple Guilds but if there is a Guild saying its a Vampire only Guild for example then you must create a Vampire Character in order to enter that specific Guild to receive that Guild's benefits.

The Five Starter Character Job Classes are Paladins, Ninjas, Samurais, Mages and Hunters, you can only choose from one of these Five at the beginning but the more, as you level up your Role-Play Character, you can advance the Character Job Class at a certain level and in the case of Mages for example, you can choose between both Healers that specialize in White Magic and Necromancers that specialize in Black Magic, there are more choices to choose from but these are just examples.

Saga Stones are the currency in the world of Hearts and Bonds, they are also the source of a Character's MP, meaning the more that you collect from Quests, Side Jobs, Guild Jobs and/or Treasure Boxes that you find whilst journeying, the more Magic your Mages can use whilst in battle, if you level up and learn more devastating offensive Magic, you will need tons upon tons of Saga Stones in order to cast high level spells, this is also the same for Paladins and Hunters if they want to use Techniques/Abilities, Saga Stones are required to used high level offensive and/or defensive powers to use in battle, your Character whilst in battle can slowly recharge their MP and Technique/Ability Points, however, it takes a long time to recover so having Saga Stones on hand will be very handy when in battle, for instead of taking cover to slowly recharge, you can use Saga Stones if you set your Character to Automatic Recover to heal yourself instantly, giving your Character power back and be able to fight on par with the enemies in front of you once more, however, it is not wise to always Automatically set your Characters to do actions for this could end up costing you more Saga Stones then it is worth, you can end up over-healing yourself for example when already fully healed and possibly waste all of your Saga Stones that you need for battle.

You can fight Manually or Automatically, it doesn't matter either way, as it just describes how your Character is fighting whilst in battle but if they are fighting Automatically, you have to describe things like your Character is Automatically healing themselves rather then you doing so Manually, they could accidentally use a fire spell to attack a ice based enemy with, only for a weaker leveled enemy to redirect the attack towards themselves and heal themselves whilst making themselves stronger, as they are fire based enemies, know what i mean?

Please put down "C.O.D.E.D" to show that you have read the Rules, also, like a real Online Game, you must type in C.O.D.E.D every-time you resume continuing RPing where you left off, to show that you have Signed off for the time being and will continue RPing both Hearts and Bonds and the overall Virtual Reality RP, please put down "Till Twilight's Next Night", that is the official Log out from both Hearts and Bonds and the overall Virtual Reality RP, as part of the Video Game system of Hearts and Bonds, there is also an official Forum stating that you have E-Mail about Quests, advanced Character Job Classes and/or joining Guilds for examples, the official Forum will be shown of how it works during the Role-Play.

T.A.B.F.O.P is the official Administrators for Hearts and Bonds for the players, by the players, if they say something is wrong and/or out of place then they will give you three strikes, if you reach a 3rd strike, they will somehow find a way to Hack into your Character account and permanently Sign you off if you push them too far and to know that you will try to Hack in, as another Character, they will have your Character signature from your last Character so they will know who you are Signing up, as a new Character from the Character you previously were before getting banned from Hearts and Bonds, T.A.B.F.O.P's members are limited by the beginning of the RP but after the Prologue of the RP will a one month Time-Skip occur and their members will grow in numbers, all of The Administrators' Board for Free Online Players' members will be portrayed by me unless someone would like to join T.A.B.F.O.P.

The Prologue will just go over the Tutorial basics of the Role-Play before a one month Timeskip occurs and all of our Characters seem moved into the world of Hearts and Bonds, the story-line of the RP is divided into four continual consecutive Story Arcs, the 1st one is called Volume I: G.E.N.E.S.I.S, that will explore the beginning of the major main story-line events within the RP and will foreshadow what is yet to come in the near future.

You can use Memes/Tags like 0_0 and/or :] for examples whilst talking, as your Characters in the RP but please still use proper grammar even when using the Memes/Tags.

Finally, above all else, have fun :], all of your Characters will be starting off in the Hub World of Aurachalcum, the Emerald City, here is where all of our Characters will meet and learn the basics of Hearts and Bonds' Game-Play from one of the Admins belonging to T.A.B.F.O.P before going off their separate ways.

I bet someone has taken inspiratiom from the .hack series :)

Lot of lore too, which is great.

My only gripe is with the Samurai class/job. Mostly because the description given contradicts itself.

Samurais in this game seems like the "Slayer" class from TERA.

They don't have the most defense bor health in the game. Nor the most mobility. But they are one of the most technical and, if done right, one of the best damage dealers in the game.

They make use of dodge attacks, attacks that break defenses or lower them and focus on counter attack which can turn the tide of battle.

To combat the fact they don't have the highest health for their high risk combat style. They make use of armoring like abilities that absorb damage or give them damage reduction. Albeit not near as much as a Paladin.

But, much like Slayers from TERA.

since hunters are the highest strenght characters this leaves Samurais in a tough spot.

Like a half assed middle ground between paladins and Hunters. Unless im missing something its better to take a paladin and a huntet than ever bringing a samurai around.

Unless the Samurai has the advtange of having more debuffing skills on enemies. Like defense down or even damagr over time effects like bleeding. But again, those might just be more in the ninja category.

Samurais sound cool. But from a practical point, just having a bigger sword doesn't cut it.

On a side note, i am interested on how you will handle thr character roles in the story. Because on most MMOs its easy to feel a disconnect and feel unimportant. Unless you plan to pull an eight phases or morgana xD and have avatars running around.

Really liking what I see though, and il make a character soon.

Yeah, the 13 Signals are basically the Eight Phases for this RP and i was hoping that someone would help me manage the RP since its my first time doing one about a MMO.

Well I could possibly help. My schedule is pretty hectic.

You could handle it like .hack does. While it is technicaly an MMO the narrative involves our characters the most. You could treat it like a normal RP but with events and other game-ish things.

Yeah, that's the plan, like .Hack, it will be divided up into four consecutive continual Story Arcs, the 1st one is called Volume I: G.E.N.E.S.I.S which focuses on the beginning of our Characters playing Hearts and Bonds.

Ah I see. Very well.

I wonder what we're gonna be doing as the story progresses to deal with the constant corruption (if it does follow .Hack's corruption plot anyway). And the dangers of this world. In .Hack we had Data drain and other methods.

Im also interested to see how the job extensions will play out.

Yeah, honestly, its basically a .Hack RP all in all but still, its meant to be something both new and refreshing, as well.

I got more experience with .Hack // Gu.

You got my support. At least as far as classes are concerned I can help with some thoughts.
