Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Kairi was a little confused at that. She could only remember Sora being with her a few weeks ago, and never of him being gone. "Oh," she said, her eyes going back to the flowers that leaned gently in the wind. He must have come here before or after he saw her.

Sora caught Kairi look back to the flowers, the picture making him smile. "You can walk out to them," he said, holding out a hand to take the reigns from her. "I'll make sure your horse doesn't run off." He had no plans to walk around in the flowers, since somebody had to keep the horses here. He didn't want to chase after them.

Kairi felt herself smile, and she looked down to her horse before locating Sora's hand. She lifted her reigns and set them in his hand, locking eyes with him for only a second. She then grabbed the edge of her saddle and swung her leg over, touching the ground. She heard her feet make contact with the soft grass, and she released her horse completely, starting to walk out into the meadow.

Sora gripped the reigns securely, his eyes staying on the girl he loved even if she wasn't looking back at him now. They didn't have to do something goofy right now, not like their dinner had been. They had taunted each other a lot in a loving way, but now he was working towards a more peaceful yet serious mood. But happiness was still a part of this, without a doubt. He was happy, and so was his beloved.

Kairi felt the grass tickle her ankles as she walked through the meadow, the flowers taller than she originally thought when she was on her horse. She ran her fingertips along the petals as she walked, a soft smile on her lips. They were wonderful, and so was the fresher air out here in the fields. She hadn't been to this place of Radiant Garden, surprisingly.

Sora kept a small smile on his lips, his gaze also remaining on Kairi. She could take her time and enjoy this, and he would just enjoy seeing her happy. He would always try his best to make her happy and keep her safe. It was all that he wanted to do with his life.

Kairi still had Sora's sweatshirt on, but the breeze made it so she wasn't so hot. She was comfortable, in this meadow, in the sweatshirt...but most of all, she was comfortable with him. With Sora. She didn't know what she would do without him. The girl turned around, her hand lingering on a flower petal as she looked to the boy she loved. She couldn't help but smile at him. When he's on that horse, he's even more like my Prince Charming.

Sora smiled at the girl he loved, his eyes locking onto her. "Just when I thought you couldn't get anymore beautiful," he said softly, looking at her standing in the flowers. She was stunning right now, wearing casual clothes and lingering amongst the flowers.

"You're too polite, kind sir," Kairi said with a small bow of her head, her fingers lingering on a flower. She looked back to Sora, her smile softening into one of warmth and love. This was perfect. He was here, with her on her birthday, and they were in a meadow with horses and surrounded by sunshine and flowers. It was wonderful.

Sora glanced up at the sky when the sun disappeared, the clouds looking dark and threatening. He thought it was supposed to rain today; he had checked on the weather before Riku brought Kairi home. Looks like it's time for my "back-up" plan.

Kairi saw that Sora didn't react to what she said, and she followed his gaze to the sky. Clouds. Better get a flower while I can, she thought silently. She turned around, seeing a pretty blue flower among the purples and pinks. She started toward it, that way she could pluck it out of the ground.

"Better hurry, Kai," Sora said gently, seeing how quickly the clouds were covering the area. He heard thunder in the distance, and he knew they probably wouldn't make it back to town and beat the storm. He had another plan, though; he thought of everything.

"Okay," Kairi called back, moving quickly toward the blue flower that was alone amongst the others. She weaved her way through the meadow before she bent down, plucking the pretty flower from the ground. She placed it in the large front pocket of Sora's sweatshirt she was wearing and then started back toward her boyfriend, the boy she loved, and the one that did this for her. He was amazing.

Sora couldn't help but smile weakly, thinking Kairi was adorable with how she was hurrying. He was starting to get nervous, though, because he knew this was leading up to the biggest event of the night. But if he let his nerves show, Kairi would wonder what was up. He couldn't have that.

Kairi approached her horse, lifting a foot and setting it in the stirrup. She grasped the saddle and grunted, pulling herself up and swinging a leg over the horse to sit down. "Okay," she said, holding her hands out for the reigns. She heard a rumble of thunder, knowing then that it was definitely going to storm on them. As much as she liked storms, she liked sunshine more, so it was a little saddening to see it go.

Sora nodded, handing the reigns back to Kairi. "I'll lead," he said, grasping his own reigns with two hands as he carefully turned his horse around so they wouldn't step on the flowers too much. He started into the woods after that, knowing they were cutting it close. But he wouldn't let them get caught in the rain.

Kairi clicked her tongue as she turned her horse around, catching up to Sora easily. She rode behind him and to the side a little to make sure that she didn't spook Sora's horse. The trees would help them from getting too wet, but she doubted they could totally beat the rain.

That gazebo Sora saw was only a few minutes, and it had a place to keep the horses where they wouldn't get wet. That was definitely where he and his girl were going to go to escape the storm, and where--He blinked, glancing up at the sky. From what he could see, they may have had a minute or two still.

"Where are we going?" Kairi called ahead to the boy she loved, following behind with her horse. She heard another dull roar of thunder, though it was louder than before. The storm was closer, but there was no way they could make it back to the stables in time.

"There's a gazebo and a stable up ahead," Sora called in return after the thunder. "We'll camp out there." They'd be nice and dry, and he could pull off yet another trick. He had one more idea before his big one, and he knew Kairi would love it.

Kairi nodded, even if Sora couldn't see it. She was sure he knew she didn't mind, considering she was still riding alongside him. Now that the path opened up a bit more, she scooted up so she was next to him. She glanced over at him as he rode his horse, once again thinking of her Prince Charming. He was Sora--perfect.

Sora glanced over at Kairi before he saw the path that led to the area he was leading Kairi to, the boy taking that path and seeing the beautiful white gazebo surrounded by flowers. And off to the side was the area where they could tie their horses. He started over right away, hearing louder thunder. Their time was almost up.

Kairi saw the area up ahead, catching sight of the places where they could let the horses rest out of the rain. She slowed her horse to a small trot, that way she could safely hop off when she needed to. She glanced up at the sky, seeing all of the clouds and how dark it suddenly was. "Uh-oh," she said softly without thought. This was going to be one heavy storm.

Sora was already off his horse, tying the reigns to the pole that was specifically meant for tying horses to. "Hand me your reigns," he said to the girl he loved, holding out a hand for them once he was done with his horse. He'd tie hers quickly and she could get to the gazebo before it started pouring.

Kairi nodded and shifted the reigns into one hand, then setting them into Sora's outstretched one. Once they were handed off, she swung one leg over and got off the horse, landing safely on the ground. She felt a water drop hit her head, and she looked up to feel it sprinkling onto them. It was already starting.
