VIP Purchase Invalid -- Twice?!

So, I tried to purchase the VIP Access on "'Kingdom Hearts x -Union Cross-'" like I do every week.
I had more than enough money on my account, so I selected to buy it.  Then, it told me the transaction failed.  So, I tried again.  Same problem.  I have now lost ~ 
$30 on that account because of failed transactions that got deducted from my account afterward.

Why is this happening?  I have been buying the VIP Option for over a year, and this is the first time I ever had this issue.

Your best bet is to contact Square Enix Support.

 

That happened to me once, and I tried calling Apple Support. They gave me a refund because it was the first time this had ever happened, but they said protocol is usually to call Square Enix Support first, and having them contact Apple Support to issue a refund. I also had a really nice person at Apple Support help me, not sure if this first time refund will always happen... In your case though, you'll probably need to contact both to get access to the VIP extras this week and to get a refund for the double payment.

I had this happen before and they couldn't really find a cause. It took them 4 weeks to refund me, though the most annoying part was that they offered I could also get the 1700 jewels, despite technically buying 3000. So if you decide to contact them, just go for a direct refund and just purchase them on your own again because otherwise, you may be missing out on the VIP stuff this week. Sometimes they're fast, but not always.

 

I'd wait a moment before trying again, perhaps closing the application and starting it again. If that doesn't work, I'd try downloading the newest update again.
