Not only is she an amazing character and beautiful as hell, she's easily one of the best developed characters in the series! We've seen her struggle with her friends, with her own heart, and with herself, and after having lost everything to save her friends, she endured her time in the Realm Of Darkness like a champ! Her willingness to keep on fighting to the very end are admirable, and she's just really a character that you can't help but respect! I don't know why people dislike Willa Holland's portrayal of her so much.
