Everyone is always complaining that the people who criticize KH3 assume the intentions of those involved, almost like they know what's going on the writer's heads.
But when the defense force assumes his intentions and say "oh, it wasn't meant to be important", well, then it's fine

But we are talking about Kairi's character as a whole here. Her caring for where she came from was only relevant in KH1. Why would the Radiant Garden part of herself be important in any way if it was never brought up again in any future games other than to tie up where she came from?

Well, you see, maybe just maybe, Nomura was planning on it being somewhat important for future events, but couldn't make it come to fruition due to unfavorable circumstances

But that's just a theory

Oh right, I forgot, silly me

Kairi wasn't meant to have any importance in the plot aside from her immutable characteristics that did not depend on any character development whatsoever
