the only thing that threw me off that it was time travel, was that goofy said "yup now point us at em again" after sora said "we're back?" or whatever.. after the final world!

so i was like... sooooo they all remembered what just happened?

Well, first we should preface it by seeing that that scene makes little to no sense

If we go by Goofy's comment, they should remember everything

But then it doesn't make sense that the characters take the same actions they did before they all died

with how kh time travel works, i think that when someone travels back to the point of reference, they don't remember the the prior events that led them there...? Hence how young xehanort does not remember everything ? I think they remembered first and forgot afterwards, it's weird since they've never clarified it
