Non reality in Kingdom Hearts is more like how our reality actually is I feel, more grey instead of black(darkness) and white(light), Nomura could pose some truly insightful scenarios in this next saga if he is going more towards the theme of in-between darkness and light

I mean how else is the war between light and dark gonna end besides a middle ground

Maleficent already has a huge relevance in the plot.
No more convoluted stuff?! I can't imagine KH being KH without it.

I only agree with one thing here: no awkward or cringy moments. Mainly the gestures while characters are talking, which a lot of times was very unnatural.
