I mean, there have been many cases where, in the end, there was nothing. I remember this kid who got accused by three girls of his school for inappropriate behaviour. He got suspended and all, his life was ruined. And a year later, those three pests admitted they lied, they just didn't like him

I believe that. Sigh, being a public figure is probably the hardest thing ever. You prolly have a PR person telling you how to present yourself, but add in a legal case + a lawyer...Sheesh

Not, “EVER,” but it’s definitely prob harder than we think

It's simple:
If he talks and says he's innocent, people will say it's bullshit, you're a liar, die piece of garbage.
If he stays silent or admits his guilt, people'll say SEE it's a proof!!! He's garbage

Nowadays just like in the old days, everyone's immediately guilty. People will only see the accusations, not the possibility it might be false. Just like the example I gave earlier.
