And that's Kirby and the Forgotten Land completed (to my liking). Is it really the 'best' game of the franchise/series thus far? Well... in many ways... yes. Best graphics of the franchise I've ever* seen honestly. Funniest gimmick/mechanic I think I've ever seen as well (Mouthful). Maybe even best music of the franchise/series as well (ANIME OP-LIKE THEME SONG ALL OF MY YES**). Upgradeable copy abilities should have been done a **LONG** time along. ***PLEASE KEEP THIS. I'M BEGGING YOU.* There's... just one problem. The missions. To rescue the Waddle Dees. Particularly the boss ones. But some in the later stages/levels as well. Speedrunning? No damage? Are you kidding me? I'm not good enough for that shit and it's not needed or neccessary. Get it out. That shit ruined my experience. It really did. I couldn't get past that and I shouldn't be expected to. Overly ridiculous difficulty. They can't find a middle ground I guess. Star Allies was too easy. These missions (some of them) are overly ridiculous. I shouldn't be expected to get something from post-game either. Ridiculous. It couldn't overcome that *other* game. Sorry. It couldn't. But I played post-game shockingly and it's the closest I've *ever gotten to 100% in a Kirby game (90%) so there's that I guess. Best Kirby game of the franchise? Sure I guess (still subjective though) it's just the overly ridiculous difficulty of the Waddle Dee rescue boss missions (and other missions) that bogged it down for me. Sorry.

Actually, squeak squad featured a sort of precursor to this in the form of ability scrolls. They didn't completely change things like in this game, but they did change things up a bit
