when aqua defeats terranort in the final episode and he stabs himself with his keyblade (again) what happens to terras heart? :blink: (ya as i said before, my stupidity continues...)

You did watch the secret ending right? Anyway, Terra's heart is obviously still in his body, since you didn't see it leave. He stabbed himself to get Xehanort out, but failed and lost his memories in the process.

it's not Terra who stabs himself it's MX who stabs himself if u recall him when says " THIS WILL TEACH U GET OUT OF MY HEART!" he's refering 2 terra since he lost to aqua he deems that terra is weak. anyway after MX stabs himself in the heart attempting to get out of terra's body but fails. so I think terra's heart stays in his body he just gets swollowed by the darkness untill aqua jumps in and sacrifices herself to save Terra.

It is MX and he was talking about Aqua and her light seeping into their hearts to free Terra. He tries to lock their hearts to keep Aqua out, which is why he gets swallowed into the darkness, until Aqua saves them.

When he says "this will..." it wouldn't make sense for Xehanort to be saying it because xehanort is in Terra's heart, not the other way around. But then again, mx does say in the secret ending "your heart will be engulfed by mine forever" so while that explains the situation in which xehanort may justify his phrasing. The phrase "get out of my heart" also seems quite passionate of feeling the right that that heart belongs to you, and I am not sure Xehanort felt that way but he might have. Also why would xehanort want Terra's heart out if it was terra's stained heart "(darkness) that shall be the ark that sustains him." Note that the special area you can get to in the last quarter or so of the fight is yellow and normal terra is in it as well as the guardian. The name of this scene is "the heart that fought back," but this still leaves us with a vague answer. In this scene Terranorts body puts off a yellow aurora so I imagine that Terra used the keyblade on himself to expel the guardian (which has a connection to xehanorts heart) from a the yellow area, so not completely separating it from himself, and then locking his heart that way.

first off what u said about why xehanort would want to get rid of terra being that it's terra's darkness thats the ark that sustains him makes a lot of sense plus also if he did try to get rid of terra where would he go since his body dissapeared back at the Keyblade graveyard, so I'll give some pointers on that. I thought it was terra 2 who says " GET OUT OF MY HEART" but keep in mind that xehanort is trapped withen terra & is trying to remain control while terra is trying to break free, so the yellow glow I think was terra trying to break free, at the same Xehanort is the one whose in control of terra's body (for the moment) and (like Azur Flame said) since aqua was going to save terra, xehanort prevented her from saving terra by putting a tight lock on both his & Terra's heart, then terranort gets pulled in by the darkness aqua jumps in & saves him, and Xehanort remains conrtol of Terra's body but looses his memories as a result of locking his & Terra's heart.

It didn't sound like Terra, it was the VA who did Terranort and Ansem SoD in KH2 and Re:CoM

I do believe that it was Terra. I might have to refresh my memory because I haven't played BBS in a while.

ya i did watch the secret ending and thats what confused me since terra and xehanorts hearts were 'talking' to each other which would mean that terras hearts was still there.

Listen carefully, trust me it sounds more like Terra. It does start out in Terranort's voice but as he forces the keyblade up, Terra's voice becomes increasingly distinct. I listened again yesterday just to confirm and this is the english version, I can't speak for the Japanese one.

It's possible that Richard Epcar, the guy who does the voice, could sound similar to the guy who does Terra, but they wouldn't change the voice like that for that brief a moment.

WTH is this? That's Terra's voice but the trinity archives say it was Xehanort. Xehanort looked like he was on the defensive and fighting to maintain control and Terra was winning. Is it a mistake in the archives?

It's Terra refering to Xehanort. Why didn't you catch the lines right before it?

 

"Stop...fighting back..." - Obviously said by the Xehanort half.

"Terra, please, fight it!" - Aqua

"This'll teach teach you...GET OUT OF MY HEART!" - The Terra half gains brief control and tries to get Xehanort out. However, this fails and results in both of their hearts getting locked inside and Terranort losing his memories.
