Wolf on the Run 391 Posted June 28, 2011 hey i was thinking since disney got the rights to oswald the lucky rabbit back do ya think theres any chance that disney might bring him into kingdom hearts as one of the main disney characters like mickey donald and goofy after all oswald was walt disneys first real character and if walt hadnt of lost the rights to oswald it would of been king oswald not king mickey since loosing oswald was the only reason walt made mickey so i think its only fair to bring in the little guy to the series

Keyblade King 12 486 Posted June 28, 2011 If they ever bring back Timeless River or something like it. I'm sure they'll put Oswald as the main villain,
Wolf on the Run 391 Posted June 28, 2011 but oswald isnt a villian he has same personallity as mickey did starting off hes a trouble maker who trys to do good so cant be a villian wouldnt work

Azure Flame 670 Posted June 28, 2011 Disney didn't get the rights back, they just got permission to use him in Epic Mickey. They wouldn't want to go through all that work to get permission for him to be in KH when they don't even like KH.
riku1123 11 Posted July 3, 2011 I don't think so, the plot would probably be near to epic mickeys where Oswald would be jealous of Mickey and it would go from there
Axtwyt 500 Posted July 4, 2011 I think he could make the cut and have something to do with Yen Sid quitting his role as Keyblade Master

Surely you wouldn't trade a person for permission to use Oswald for a random game?
superbanana 230 Posted July 4, 2011 who did they trade?

That's not what I heard. I heard they begged for permission to use him in Epic Mickey, and only got permission for that.
earth_angel 73 Posted July 4, 2011 They did get the rights back years ago. It was sort of a symbolical gesture to honor Walt Disney.

I don't think disney would beg for permission it's possible that they got the rights back to owning him. And what's this? Disney doesn't like KH? No wonder there aren't and KH titles at PStore. I say maybe. I don't know how the plot would work if Oswald was just added in out of no where. Especially knowing the fact that he's a Disney character. hatok I'll check out you're link to see whether this is true or not. Very intruiging topic though
Oishii 3,987 Posted July 8, 2011 I can see it happening. Oswald has been popular in Japan longer than the US. They started selling Oswald toys there before Disney got the rights back. I'm sure Japanese fans would love to see Oswald in the game.
