Since Ventus is somehow connected to Sora [via memories/heart/etc, we dont really know the details ] and xigbar must have encountered Ven as braig, when he looked at Xion, he saw ven.

 

Is it just me or am i having a bad day at explaining things.

You aren't having a bad day you just need a pick-me-up. Have a cookie. This is explained right. We don't know how Ven and Sora are connected, but Braig did ecounter him at some point in the past during BBS.

well uh xigbar somebody was braig the founder of organization hmm wait thats xigbar oh well anyways...braig saw ven from the past in bbs braig must have met ven somewere ... that is why he can reconize that face so easily is that good enough?!

Whoa I just got majorly confused. Braig made the organization? And where do you see Braig or know about him? I don't read the manga if it's in that. That was a cool part though when we see Ven. I don't know any of the Nobodies Sombodies besides axel, roxas, and xemnas of course

No, Xemnas made the organization with the rest of the six apprentices, but it is confirmed braig has met ven, so we'll prolly see him in bbs.

Xion was a puppet designed around memories

and since Xigbar encountered Ven a lot of times in the past, and since there is a vague Xion-Sora-Ven link, he saw Ven. I put a spoiler box on one part in case you haven't finished the game

Ok, you guys got most of it, now let me to explain some more stuff about the whole Xigbar and Ven incident.

 

On Day 353, Roxas walks to the lounge and sees that Xion, Axel and Xigbar has teamed up for a mission in Wonderland. Now Xion had her hood up for some reason....so, then a cutscene appears as soon as you select your mission and start it.

 

It will be Xion or "Poppet" versus Xigbar. Now he start to say, "Ha ha! Talk about a blast from the past." And I was like, what did he mean by that? Then he says, "Of all the faces...why do I look at her and see yours?" I was seriously WTFing right now. Then I see Ven and I was like =O. Then Xigbar says the most stupidest thing I have ever read, "Do you always have to stare at me like I just drowned your goldfish?" (WHY XIGGY, WHY DID YOU SAY THAT!!!). Anways, then Xion, as "Ven", sort of teleports and attacks Xigbar from the side and knocking him out. And knowing that Xion teleported or at least ran very fast that Sonic the Hedgehog couldn't beat him in a race is Ven's thing...well...yeah, you pretty much got that idea.

 

So that's basically what the Xion/Ven incident. Now here is an explanation of why Xigbar sees Ven. Cella on one of the post got it. You see, Xion is made of Sora's memories, created by Xemnas. And for whatever reason, Ven is connected to Sora somehow. And people see Xion as different people if they have met the person that Sora is connected to or has met. Something along thoses lines. Here, I will post Cella's post, because it explains better:

Now for the reports. After I responded to the Secret Reports thread, I decided to read all of the reports. And when I got to Xigbar's second report, entitled Him and Roxas, I stopped. I focused on that, and there is two possible answers to this. Here is what the report said:

 

Roxas is maturing at an impressive rate. His face, the way he handles the Keyblade, it's all exactly the same. The worlds seem so divided and alone, but there's always that steady thread there to connect them. And we Nobodies can never escape the things we did as humans. So it goes.

 

Oh ok, so that means he has seen Sora before. WRONG!!! It is impossible to tell how Roxas and Sora holds their Keyblades. Xigbar never encountered or even physically met Sora, probably not even seen until Kingdom Hearts II. And Sora is not excatly the same as Roxas So could this mean Ven? But wait, Ven holds his Keyblade different than how Roxas does. So here are two answers:

 

1) Xigbar was actually at C.O spying on Sora. But this still doesn't explain the face though

2) Xigbar must of seen Ven hold his Keyblade like how Roxas at one point. He must of assumed that Ven holds his Keyblade that way, or Ven changes how he holds the Keyblade at a certain point

 

Now this report that Xigbar made really made a reference to Ven. It was called Who we Each See. And it says:
