I just wanted to clarify what a spinoff was.

Is that just not Kingdom Hearts mobile? That came out years ago and if it's not KH mobile, I'm gonna bet it's not official.

This is an example of a spinoff, along with the facebook gumiship game.

This was released on mobile phones back in 2003 or 2004 if I remember correctly sometime before COM was released for the GBA and when they first announced KH2. We used to went wild about it back in the day. Oh the memories~

I'm actually impressed that:

 

a) they did that on a mobile phone back then.

 

b ) they gave the enemies life bars like Sora.

no because the spinoffs to kh are always good and i'd rather have spinoffs then have nothing to play while we wait on the "main plot" , which in KH almost everygame has stuff you need to know

i realise that lol the phone game is a spinoff, some people refer to the other games as spinoffs as well

i agree with the title of this thread, mind you, Nomura said that after 3D, he would attempt to begin work on the much anticipated Square Enix game. KH3!

Guys, these two games were released in a short time, it is not canon in the story, they are not important, if u didn't play it and if it didn't take a time for SE to do... why are u guys caring about it ?

 

I mean these games might doesn't even have a story it is just for fun and I am sure it took only some days or weeks to do, if u guys didin't like it just leave it.

I get what you're saying. It's what I try to say to everyone all the time. THESE games are spin-offs. 358/2 Days, coded, and Birth by Sleep are side-stories, which are part of the main series, but should be called side-games, not spin-offs. They use the same battle system, it's just changed to add a more different experience. The game uses the same engine, and has parts that are canon and connect to what people call the "main" series, even though the side-stories are part of the "main" series as well. Even the feel of the game is similar. People just call it that because they don't know. It's just wrong, because every game besides the ones you just showed are part of the "main" series. Just because it's not numbered doesn't mean it isn't. I got you. Pokemon Pinball has nothing to do with the story and doesn't have the engine the regular series has, thus it's a spin-off. I like the people on this forum. We actually know about gaming. No offense.
