Does anyone here had the same problem:I'm able to go on PSN,the Internet connection works just fine on my PS3,I downloaded a few games from the PS Store,but when I'm trying to play online it doesn't seen to work well.I was only able to play 3 times online,the games were Super Street Fighter IV and Sonic 4 Ep II.

Yea need more information, and I don't have a PS3 but I could try and help . I would say that it could be PS3 gaming servers are down, but that just can't be it.

Well,I don't know what else I could say since I don't understand the problem myself,but I just bought my PS3 not long ago and its the 160Go version.I made all the updates I had to do,I connect my PS3 to Internet and to make sure it worked I went on the PS Store to download games(which requires an Internet connection of course)and I added a friend and its working just fine as well,I can send him message and I can see what he's currently playing.But when I'm trying to play Online I can't found anybody as if no one was online(In Sonic 4 ep2 and Super Street Fighter 4) I can't upload my records to the leaderboard of Sonic 4,but one morning,I went online on Sonic 4 just to see if it could work and it worked just fine.I didn't play a lot that day,I think I barely played one stage then left,but they didn't kicked me out,but maybe if I had played any longer I might have lost the connection.And it happened 3 times,only 3 times I was able to play online.What's strange is that its not like I'm not use to that stuff,I'm playing online with my Wii since day 1 and I never had any trouble with it,I'm play online with my DSI,my PSP is connected to Internet and I have no problem with it.I don't know if that could help,but I connected my PS3 to my PSP for remote play(even if I never use it) and my PSN account is connected to 2 PSP and 2 PS3.My PS3 is brand new,its not been used before.

Probably no one is online since its an old game I guess.

Well Sonic 4 EP2 came out last year and Super Street fighter IV came out in 2010 and even if its you can always found people online,I don't think that's the problem
