This is his Needle Sphere form(球針態, Kyuushintai) is a technique used by Hibari's Cloud Hedgehog Box Weapon, Roll. After being injected with strong Flames, Roll can form an airtight sphere around a target to trap them. It is made from compounded Cloud Flames and the inside of the sphere has the ultimate power of isolation. The sphere can only be broken by strong Flames such as Tsuna's Hard Sky Flames. Because it is an airtight sphere, the oxygen inside is limited; if the person inside doesn't escape quickly, they will suffocate and die.

This is know as the Reverse Needle Sphere Form (裏球針態, Ura Kyuushintai) is the creation of a completely segregated space that does not allow the presence of any other than two selected individuals. A battle could not be interfered with from the outside. From the inside of the sphere, it looks like you're in the sky, with a large invisible circular wall surrounding you. There are spikes located on the walls inside the sphere like an arena ring. Even other Box Weapons are prevented from entering and no Boxes can be used inside. However, a Ring's attribute can still be used because it only seals the Box Weapons but not the Dying Will Flames from the user. It requires strong Flames to maintain itself and a great quantity of oxygen is consumed during the formation of the dome.

Roll (Version Vongola Box) is Hibari's exclusive Box Weapon. It was created by remodeling a Cloud Hedgehog. It is imbued with the Vongola's latest technology. Roll's whole body is enveloped in a firm armor with long needles and possesses excellent propagation abilities. Through Cambio Forma, it changes into the handcuffs said to have been used by the First Cloud Guardian. Its name is not "Barinezumi", but "Roll".
