Jump has an article on Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII that reveals a new area called the Dead Dune. This is a huge desert area sprinkled with ruins. Lightning has to fight through monsters  solo in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. if Lightning finds herself in a pinch she can use the Overclock ability to gain the upper hand. This skill freezes enemies at the cost of GP. GP is a new stat in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII tied to recover magic.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is slated for release this fall on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

WOAH, THEY'RE GIVING YOU AN MAGIC POINT BAR!!!!

Sweet, now it'll really be like a traditional FF game, with strategy and not to waste attacks.

Too bad i can't spam spells now like in the other 2 XIII's, but this'll be fun anyway. :P
