Oh... My... God. I wanna join xD

Let me make this clear: we are not anti-religion, we are anti- crazy nonsense done in the name of religion.

This actually makes me want to join their religion ...

um, yeah.  They're the Pastafarians.  pretty sure it started as a joke from a college student who wanted to wear a pasta strainer on his head and call it religious headwear.

Funny but not funny at the same time?

Yes.

Actually I'm not sure, I showed this to a few people at school and their reaction wasn't really serious haha.

I'm pretty sure it came form a South Park Episode, at least that was the first popular use of it.

Basically in a gist, Mr(s). Garrison is on a date with Richard Dawkins, an evolution theorist and atheist. Mr(s) Garrison is a creationist and a catholic. The two get into a minor disagreement and Richard Dawkins explains that believing in God is as logical as believing in a Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Note that this was South Park's Richard Dawkins, not the actual Richard Dawkins. Though there is a video of him getting trolled epicly online by someone who asks a Pastafarian question in a very serious manner.

I like pasta.

Hey, you're not funny.

Well, I wasn't trying to be, so you can go f uck yourself.
