Normally I'd never give out personal problems to strangers, but firetruck it; I need unbiased opinions. However, I'll spare the details and just get right to it.My sister and her fiance have been visiting from Atlanta this week, and they're going back Monday morning. Anyway, shit hit the fan yesterday because we found my dad's phone in my car (he works outside of the city and because his own truck's been acting wonky, he wanted to use mine), and it was full of texts to another woman, the same woman we've had situations with before, along the lines of "I love you" or "Goodnight, babe"; basically explicit stuff without being explicit, and the last of the texts dates back to Thursday. We also didn't know he had a phone, so more points for that. So, yeah, basically my dad's an adulterer. We don't know how "far" it is, but still you can tell it's far from a platonic relationship.Anyway, my sister asked me if I wanted to go back to Atlanta with them, so it'd be some last minute packing. On one hand, it'll give my parents room to decide on what the hell they want to do, not to mention that I've already been emotionally checked out from the two of them for some time now. But, on the other, I don't want to leave my mom alone, plus I really need my dad's help with financial aid documents for school (but the priority date is in the middle of June, so things would probably blow over until then). So, yeah, it's a black or white issue: do I go to Atlanta or not.

Extremely trick but ... if you feel you need space from your dad then do it but if you want to help your mom then stay
