I mean, in BBS it starts with Ventus going into a deep sleep after losing his heart. Then in KH1, it starts out with Sora waking up from a dream. In COM, he goes into a deep sleep to get his memories back. Then Roxas goes into a coma from Sora going to sleep. In KH2 Roxas has recurring dreams of Sora's memories. In KH3D, Sora and Riku fall asleep in between times, while you the player switch between them. And in KH3D, Sora again goes into a deep sleep when he falls into Xehanort's trap.

 

It happens so often, what is it with that?

Maybe he's just tired.  I don't know.

They're tired. They went through so much in each game that they fall asleep like going through a hallway and falling asleep at the door

Two words: beauty sleep.

It's so people don't complain that Sora never sleeps.

Nomura is a big fan of naps.

Maybe Nomura didn't get enough sleep as a child

Maybe it's Nomura's subliminal way of telling us he thinks Sora is a boring character.

But Sora is going to be mature in KH3. GROWN UPS DON'T NEED NO NAPS
