VII, X & X-2, XIII & XIII-2.

Make sure you play 9. It is the best.

Depends of what do you want from it:

If you want classical gameplay music characters and Story: FFVII and IX

If you want a more developved battle system and tactical : FFVIII and XII

If you want graphics and simple but tactical battle system: FFX and XIII - XIII-2

If you want online gaming: FF XI and XIV

If you want to rock with the Gullwings: FFX-2

 

Still preffering FF VI I reccomend you to play it.

IX and XII are great games and definitely are worth a look into.

 

If you don't mind playing MMO's then XIV: A Realm Reborn is absolutely great.
