Im working on an action-comedy novel, and i'm trying to write the prelude. Here is the plot of the novel:

 

''Former presidents, George Washington, Teddy Rossvelt, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, and Zachary Taylor are sent to the year 9027 to save earth from an alien invasion, and they are given superpowers by a secret government facility''

They were all resurrected, and learned to train in Kung Fu to stop the Alien Invasion.

Well I suggest you start with 9027. Since it involves comedy, show a funny-stupid reason for why the aliens want to destroy the earth and how some idiot proposes the idea to bring the presidents to stop it. Maybe you can show stuff like:There's a big board meeting about how to stop the aliens. The guy in charge has a button that opens trap doors right under the seat of anyone who's idea he doesn't like.A bunch of guys suggest good, strategic ideas and get rejected. Then one guy suggests the former president's idea and the guy in charge loves it.I'd suggest more, but I think it's better for you to come up with the entire story.P.S,

i think you should know, that t's not a very good idea to work on several different stories at once, focus on the ones you're writing right now and store any new ideas somewhere safe.
