I think Final Fantasy VI is the best told story, while Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is one of the most compelling and well written games I've ever played. Portal has some of the best dialogue, while Kingdom Hearts has a level of depth that I still get something new every time I play. Gameplay is a bit hard to nail down, because it depends on what kind of game you're looking at. All genres play differently in their own ways. I would need something specific to grade on for this. Music is a tie between Banjo Kazooie and Ocarina of Time. BK is fun and snappy, and makes every world seem even more adventurous, while OoT always seems to match the mood and tone of the setting with the perfect music, making the experience more immersive. Best adventure I'm taking to mean "Which has the best adventuring elements." Which I'm almost immediately inclined to award to Wind Waker. It felt like there was more to explore and discover in that game than any of the others I've played. A close runner up is Epic Mickey, because the game design is so beautiful and there's so many little things hidden here and there that I can't help but love exploring every inch of every map. 1 Zola reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
