Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) Play while reading, it sets the tone for this poem. http://youtu.be/OHsFx4sQ6HY We wish you a scary Christmas, with bats and spiders galore. We wish you a scary, scary Christmas, with lots of blood on the floor. Ghosts arrive to dance beneath the blackened Christmas tree, screams echo through the night, cries of unearthly glee. Jolly dear old Santa Claus, did land his sleigh, vampire attacked him then, and hauled the corpse away. We wish you a scary Christmas, with lots of nightmares oooo We wish you a scary, scary Christmas, and a haunted New year too! Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) HEADS UP READERS!!!!!! i'm changing the title of this thread from " Sunset Tales " to " Midnight Tales", due to the very non~sunny turn so many of them take. ( Funny how that happens...) Any opposing views? Let me know: I don't HAVE to change the title. Let me know before tomorrow. Peace. Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 13, 2013 Don't desert me courage, I must go on, roads not traveled, dangers ahead, heed to your heart, ignore your past, seek your fortune, loose your pain, seek what you've forgotten, hide from what you despise. Down this road, far away, hidden in plain sight, the secrets that you've been hoping for, the desires of your heart... unfold. Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 14, 2013 Birthday dreams, and wishes, presents, cakes, and dishes, blurred together, lost in time, far outside reason or ryhm. Time passes, but i stand still, lost in the flurry, of passing years. Everything's going, fast but sure, things healed by ages cure. Age comes, and goes so fast, birthday's last repast. Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 14, 2013 Once every year, all we hold dear, beneath a tree, smiling easy, love all around, presents abound, oh who we sing, happy again, while snow falls white as a dove, Merry, merry Christmas. untitled
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 14, 2013 Daylight, night life, walking into a fight, cold winds, hidden sins, lost to fire's light. Red roses, white buds, blooming around me, woods full of creatures, each one surrounding me, full moons, star light, marching into a fight, against the unknown enemy, nothing left to save me. Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Honestly child, if we wanted to harm you, would be under your bed, dark little shadows, reaching for your head? Honestly, child, if we meant to scare you, would we be in your closet, reaching out for you? Honestly, child, if we meant you harm ,why are walking, across your floor? Honestly, child, if we meant you harm would we be standing, watching you sleep, watching with empty sockets, with fingers ready to creep? Honestly, child... you have a lot to learn ,as we take you into the night. Honestly, Child Edited December 15, 2013 by TheTimidLight
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Deep within her mind, locked away, hidden from her thoughts, A tale of Wonderland, long ago. Standing there, plain as day, her sanity locked away, A Red knight guards her mind, the Queen of Hearts stealing what's left behind. Marching into battle, card soliders in a row, The Jabberwocky swoops in, and kills them all in one go. The White Queen is crying, The Red celebrating, as Alice takes a hammer to the looking glass to end it all. Through the rabbit hole she does fall, never really escaping at all. So, you see, there really can be no end, as Alice falls back into her Wonderland... Wonderland Edited December 15, 2013 by TheTimidLight
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Figures dancing, winter frost, the snow covering the land. memories shattered by icicle assassins, lost forever to deathly white, a frost covered night, a lost love... dying in the snow. Snow flakes dancing, pityingly beautiful, graceful... universes created and destroyed on each, as the whiteness covers me, hides me, keeps me safe and warm, away from love and harm... as i die, here in the cold, of a shattered, tattered, broken.... Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 17, 2013 The snow swirls around in a flurry tonight, dark ice every where to be seen. A island lost in isolation, population: me. Lost in a fog, lost in the cold, shunned by my friends... letiin' it go, who cares what they think? here i'm free, free and alive, here in the snow at my control, icicles from at my touch. Try and stop me, ha, for sure: Ice is coming, Ice is coming, and you all had better beware. Ice is coming, Ice is coming, freezing to the touch. The cold never got to me, but it chills your bones, freezing you to your core. Ice is coming, Ice is coming, lock the door and hide the key, lock your children away from me. Shun Me? Ha, alright: Everyone will freeze tonight. Ice is coming, Ice is coming, in the dawn, a wastelands, cooling in the sun. Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 23, 2013 Something has changed... what it is I cannot say. The moonbeams dance the night away, as I lay here, devoid of sleep. Leaping from my thoughts at once, sure and fast as winter frost, shadows creep against the wall, long and forever after dark fall. In my mind, hiding well, it waits for me, how i know I cannot tell. It's there, secrets hidden in line, lost memories ready to over reach the border, ruining all of control and order. Thus, madness overtakes all. untitled 1 kh Memories Skyskraper reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted December 30, 2013 Will you still love me tomorrow, after a night filled with sorrow, after sleep we can not borrow, no matter how hard we try? Will you remember the summer days, spent beneath the oak trees, listening to the hum of bees, scraping up our knees, kneeling on the ground? Will you still love me tomorrow, will you remember our holidays, wrapped in blankets before the fire, letting all our cares fly away? Will you remember our last night, when we had a terrible fight, when I took off into the night, falling into icy waters in my fright. Will you still love me tomorrow, as icy water cools my hair, my skin as pale and fair, as the white rose blossom? Will you still love me tomorrow... even though i'm dead? Will You Still..... 1 kh Memories Skyskraper reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 2, 2014 Onwards from today, the past is dead to stay, lost to yesterday. A bright tomorrow awaits, just take a step and go, headed towards new horizons, nothing left to show. Leave in the past the pain and loss, don't cover it in a layer of gloss, pretending it was happy times, accept it, move on, on to new times. Past mistakes, past pain, lost to the promise of a new day, a whole new year, a whole new person. Different from the one last year many things brought me here. I take the challenge, stand true in the face of fate, turning away from yesterday, accepting the broad years ahead. The past is in the past, fate's work done, I'm not dead yet, its hardly won. Years of turmoils ended, sorrows mended, onwards through life's journey... away from the past. the Past/Present 1 kh Memories Skyskraper reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 12, 2014 Reborn from the ashes, memories lost to time, a chill runs through me, as I realize I'm out of time. Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 27, 2014 Tell me of what you see, lost to the realm of memory, birdless skies, dark sighs, wordless cries. Someday you'll try to run from your past and pain and find that no matter how long you chase a lost dream, your fears will find you out in the end. We all fall behind the passing days, intill we try to dream again, when the silent screams and cries of passing memories echo and whisper " Come to me " as you sleep. Same old nightmare, new day, running from thew past is a fruitless escapade, as silent screams and cries whisper in your ear at night, sayin' " Come to me." Nothing can save you, your path is set, only fate can find you out: you have no exit, no redemption or escape, as your dreams are filled with silent cries and dark screams, echoing from the past as the whisper " Come to me." in your ear. One day you'll try to run from your past, and discover your as lost and lonely as you were when you first set out, as the truth is blinded by the pain we face, and the truth is blinded by the pain we face, as you dream among the screams and cries as they whisper " come to me." 2 kh Memories Skyskraper and Amber Cole reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) What are you going to do, lost among the crowd, outcast, under death's shrowd. Call all you will, no one can hear you: your nothing, invisible. You walk the line between death and life, struggling day by day, year by year, century by century, a kingdom of one, alone to rot in the cold. No one can see you, you're not even there, a few more years, and you might disapear. Dispair colours your days ice white, storms rage in your mind at night. You walk the line between Then and Now, barely able to make it through. Years past, but time stands still, seasons change as they always will, no one sees you, no one care.... You're just dust in the wind to them. Lament of A Immortal Edited January 27, 2014 by TheTimidLight 1 kh Memories Skyskraper reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 29, 2014 What frozen corpse is this? Do you know me, Kira? Do you see me floating phantomwise, lost between dark and light, sacrificed for another's life, tossed into darkness, icy black, hopeless, lost, scared.. Dead. What frozen corpse is this? Do you know me, Kira? Do you know I was only 17, a good brother and learner, a part time worker, a story teller, seasonal prankster, apple picker... Now just floating here, below. What frozen corpse is this? Do you know me, Kira? Do you know I kissed her at night, hugging her close, warm and tight, laying her to sleep beneath covers of down, watching intill sleep claimed her. What frozen corpse is this? Do you know me, Kira? One who stands there 'neath full moon, hair frosted, skin pale, icy water in my veins, heart stopped long ago, broken and bruised from being alone... What frozen corpse is this? Do you know me, Kira? 1 kh Memories Skyskraper reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 31, 2014 Hush, child, sleep easy, I'll keep thee safe from harm. Flesh of mine own, from me thou lives, vengance grows with thee each pass'd day. Hush, child, close thy eyes, lay still, as dreams unfold, deep down you hear me, thy soul responds to mine voice, thy brow is clear of guilt, as my own vengance unfolds. Hush, child, the dark shall rise once more, thy face shall be seen by all, as thy fist crushes all who dare oppose. Hush, my child, flesh of mine own... for when the day arrives that you are grown... All shall wither before thy wrath. Morbid Lullaby. 1 kh Memories Skyskraper reacted to this

Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted February 14, 2014 The light dances, the room dead, dances gone, the dreams silenced. Dust settles, no one's there, but singing echoes, light and gay, a woman's soprano, light as day. Where it comes from, I cannot say, as dustmites waltz the day away, through sunlight beams through window shines, an echo of days left behind, majesty faded, majesty dead, dreams shattered... 1 kh Memories Skyskraper reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted March 5, 2014 Once I wandered through these halls, waltzing through memory's ghastly balls, waiting for a friend to come, to set me free from misery, a power beyond all magic. Then you walked through the door, alone and scared, alive and good, safe and sound, my savior from Death's cold embrace. Don't be afraid, take my hand, just take it, don't be afraid friend, I'll keep you safe, I bet, safe from the terrors of the world, safe from harm. Just take my hand, clutch it tight, save me from the endless night, the ghastly moans in the empty catacombs that dance through my mind. Death's embrace seemed sweet, until you came to me, you came to me, set me free, be my friend, I'll keep you safe, I know I will, just say the words, and take my hand, release me from this nightmare, alone in here... in the Witch's house.
