Man, I am psyched that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is out. Despite my username, this is the second Kingdom Hearts title I've received, and I will have [technically] owned 4 games after I play 1.5, since I own Dream Drop Distance.

Now, with that said, we all are SUPER PUMPED for Kingdom Hearts III, am I right?  :D

I've certainly been hearing speculation on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, and Kingdom Hearts III Expectations. However, recently, as you all know, due to Final Fantasy XV, which does look pretty awesome, is currently being seen in Tetsuya Nomura's eyes at the moment. This means Kingdom Hearts III would be held off. This also lingers the question of whether or not a "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" will even be ANNOUNCED, or HINTED.

In my own opinion, I would assume that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix would contain Kingdom Hearts II [Final Mix?], Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep [Final Mix?], and HD Cinematic Cutscenes and possibly conversations of Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance... now that's personally out of the question for me, although I would like to see something out of it remastered. Then again, although it's a 3DS title, Birth By Sleep was for the PSP, so who knows.

Besides the point, I'm just honestly hoping for a good run from Square Enix on both Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV. I will be patience with excitement, as I know that each day is just another step closer to the release of both games. Oh, and possibly Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix too.... which I really want announced (for the PS3?), considering I've never owned Kingdom Hearts 2 or Birth By Sleep.

Thanks for reading, and be sure to let me know what you think!

Tetsuya Nomura has all-but-confirmed a HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts II and a future HD Collection in interviews.

The HD 1.5 ReMIX credits show Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (alternate Heartless colours are shown so it's confirmed as Final Mix), Birth by Sleep (no Unversed no way to confirm if it's Final Mix) and Re:coded.

TGS 2013.

Nobody has said it's official yet, but almost everyone knows it's bound to happen anyway. It was shown in the credits, it's the next logical step, and Nomura pretty much said that it would strange if there wasn't going to be a 2.5.

Also, there's this thing I keep hearing around this site about how Nomura apparently promised us a Kingdom Hearts title every year before Kingdom Hearts III, and that 2.5 ReMIX would be part of it, but I have yet to have seen any official news of that surface, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

Also strange, at Gamestop some parent was asking the guy at the counter if Kingdom Hearts III was going to come out soon so that he could get it for his son, and the employee said that it's supposed to come out 2014. I tried telling him otherwise, but he seemed to be under the impression that he knew what he was talking about. He said that he just came from a briefing or conference or something, but something about it still doesn't sit well with me. I mean 2014? REALLY? The amount of fans who actually believe that Square is releasing something this big one year after they officially announced it is a minority at best. Sure it's had enough time for story development, but they've just started gameplay development and it's being done by a different team. Nomura can't get deeply involved until he's gotten Final Fantasy XV on its feet and out the door (THAT is what is most likely going to be released next year). So until then, Kingdom Hearts III will probably still be in the early development cycle when we actually see any footage of it before XV's release. I love Gamestop, but honestly, sometimes I question their credibility. They've stopped selling 6th generation games (unless you count the DS titles), they don't seem to have any plans of selling the ReMIX strategy guide, and then this. Still, what can ya do?

I just hope they give capes for TAV's armor since the PS3/4 will have a faster and stronger frame rate than the PSP, which is why they were omitted in the first place right? Maybe perhaps give younger voices and models to Terra ,Ventus and Aqua for flashbacks?

I can certainly say that you're not the only one who'd like to see capes.  However, considering that it will more than likely be just a remaster like the first one, it seems unlikely that they would be so generous as to add such a detail.  But of course, we have no way of knowing what Square is planning, so it's still an option, and one that I'd really like to see :)
