Okay, so i wrote a concept trailer for a potential MMPR Animated Reboot, which is inspired by the intro for the 2002 He-Man series, you can see why when you read it
The intro starts in outer space, a space shuttle is getting closer towards the moon as a slow orchestra version of the classic MMPR tune starts.
Cut to the moon, two astronauts have discovered a dumpster like object, they try to take it, obviously as a sign they’re going to show it to their authority, but unfortunately, one of the astronauts accidentally opens it by hovering his hand over a crimson gem.
As the two astronauts start to lift it, it explodes and we see the shadow of a familiar villain, Lord Zedd, holding his iconic staff, soon after he is free, he utters these words ‘’Ah… Free at last, now I will finally get my revenge on Zordon!’’
Cut to the Command Centre, the difference between the Command Centre in the original MMPR and the one in this series, this one is more hi-tech, and the tubes have neon lights which change into the colors of the rangers.
Cut to a hologram of Zordon’s head at the center of the command center, now, a fast paced metal remix of the famous theme tune starts when he says ‘’Alpha, Zedd has escaped! Recruit a team of teenagers with attitude!’’
After Alpha presses a button on a control desk, we cut to a group of teenagers, the same teenagers in the original series, they are teleported in the middle of a game of basketball.
When they are transported to the command center, they get the Power Morphers, but one obvious difference is that it is on their wrists instead of them holding it, as Jason shouts ‘’It’s morphin’ time!’’ they are transported to the moon to battle Lord Zedd and his minions, after they run towards each other, the iconic Power Rangers thunder bolt slashes as the logo for the series transits (MIGHTY MORPHIN thunder POWER RANGERS)
