I'm starting to loose interest in KH series

Posted

KH was one of my favorite series but these last months i started to loose interest. For the story to progress we have to wait years for KH3 to be out and i just don't have so much patience...and probably even when it come out i wouldn't have any interest at it.Anyone else that is not as interest as he was before about KH series?

Yeah, I've lost interest in the series alot. I still come here, though, since I don't think this community can get any better!

Lot's of people have lost interest, but it'll all come back when KH3 comes out

Well, maybe you are just not true fans.

Not trying to offend you, or something.

Its just, I've been playing KH so long, and I've never lost intrest in it.

Waiting is worth it! Its what will make KH3 special!

I'll bet this entire thread $30 TC will in fact be interested in KHIII when it gets released.

I've been playing KH since it came out and has been a huge fan of the franchise for many years. It's been my favorite subject of interest and my favorite game series, gameplay-wise and story-wise for so long, but recently I've started to expand my interest. After watching such shows as Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Attack on Titan, I'm starting to see that the KH series isn't all that great in the story apartment. Still love it for the gameplay, and I can still play it and enjoy the story. But I do see a lot of flaws within it. And thus it has resulted in a loss of interest.

That's why we have other interests to keep us busy until KH III, its now been announced so im sure you can wait a little while longer, if it wasn't announced, then i'd say otherwise but because it has been, just give it a chance to be released and wait a little while more until then :].

I haven't lost interest in the series, but I do put it off and do other things a lot.

I hope so.

I've simply lost my childhood excitement and happiness for things.  I will still play the games, any game series I like, but I will be no where near as excited as I would be if I played it when I was younger.  It was to be expected though that people would either lose interest or be really hyped, depends really on the person and their personality as they evolve and how their interests changes rather the game itself.  Like KH may have taken ages but we've still had a bunch of KH games thrown at us during the wait so it's not like we were left with nothing.

The whole thing is that a lot of us aren't kids anymore.  Ya know?  Kingdom Hearts is undoubtedly a series with many dark elements in it, however, it was more or less designed for a younger crowd.  It's the nature of the story.  A young boy, alongside his close friends fight the bad guys, and ultimately win.  One of the central themes in the series in the first place is friendship.  The majority of Sora's strength arguably originates from his various friendships. "My friends are my power...", etc.  So it would stand to reason that we would lose interest in the story.  However, I think we all know that, at the end of the day, we'll all shed tears of sorrow when we witness the end of Kingdom Hearts 3 for ourselves (figuratively or literally, up to you I guess).    Of course, there are a variety of other factors involved too; like the way the story has totally evolved out of what a lot of us ever thought it would be.  (I hate you time travel.)

I'm only 13 and yet i still love the game. No matter what, i still love the game.

Oh, please. Come back when you get invested in the Half-Life franchise, then talk to me about losing interest. As far as I'm concerned, Square has done a pretty good job maintaining interest in the series since they're actually still releasing games. Not to mention that KH3 was actually announced unlike a certain sequel to another series.

I always lose interest and then when some major news is released I'm immediately pulled back in, and I think that goes for a lot of longtime KH Fans

U guys aren't true hardcore fans.

Huh...personally, I have literally, never lost interest in anything, really. ( Well, except for Harry potter and barbie dolls and stuff...but that's because I grew up and Harry Potter ended.  and realised how gay it was. ;P )

I have liked History, Astronomy and Video Games since I was five, and while I did forget about KH once, it was because I forgot what it was called since I lost the game...I still loved it I just couldn't play it. I've never lost interest in KH.

I haven't lost interest in the series, but my hype isn't as high as it was 2 years ago

I haven't lost interest in the series at all. It's understandable though thinking about the wait of KH3.

Even though plot wise, the series hasn't been progressing in about a year, i still hold a lot of devotion and love for the series because of many reasons. I'm just really excited for the people that are to be saved. Playing the games over again many times has brought me hope every time. i feel refreshed every single time i play one.

the gameplay has got me hooked every time. and i just love it to death. it you still aren't onto kingdom hearts even though 2.5 is coming out soon and that kh2 FM is coming out....then i don't really understand you.
