So this is just gonna be a very, very lighthearted story containing romance and comedy. The story will include many characters that all strive to have some romantic occurrence in their lives, but it always somehow happens in a way they don't expect.
Chapter 1: Analyzing Too Much
Rio walked around her room. The brunette was uneasy. After all, she probably just experienced one of the most confusing events a teenage girl could ever be a part of, not really. But still, she was lost. What did Eon mean? The blonde didn't mean it, nor did Eon even know it, but the friend would cause Rio to worry all night long.
"I can't stop thinking about it."
She couldn't stop thinking about it. Rio continued to pace around the room, glancing at her body length mirror every now and again. Eventually she would stop to examine how she looked. She wore a normal top, with a regular skirt and stockings to match. She loved stripes, so everything she wore had some variation in them. Today was black and red day, even her hair featured some red in it.
"What did he mean by See you later?"
As straightforward as the line was, she was just as confused. She often over analyzed every little detail, every annoying fact. The thought of her friend just wanting to see her later never crossed her mind. Taking a seat on her bed, she brushed her black hair as she contemplated on what possible meanings there were and boy did she come up with some craz- creative explanations.
"He's totally going to prank me! I can feel it!" the brunette yelped, jumping up and off her bed.
"Honey! Are you okay?" her mom asked from behind her closed door.
The question went straight past the over thinking girl. For a 14 year old, she was very intelligent, always finding some way to show her profoundness around friends and family, but when it came to Eon, she might as well have been a jellyfish. Maybe worse, jellyfish could function without their brain. She couldn't.
"...Or maybe he put cameras around the house!"
Rio dropped her brush, making a small thump sound as it hit the floor. Her eyes grew wide as she panicked, looking around the top corners of her room. She ran out of the room, slamming the door against the wall. Had her mom still have been there, it would be the first time anyone would hear of domestic violence with the perpetrator being a petite, teenage girl.
The brunette ran down stairs, somehow making sure to produce a much louder sound than the door slamming as she made her descent. After ten seconds of noise, she made it to their bathroom. Rio turned on the lights, looking for any incriminating evidence.
"Where is it!?!" she yelled, her eyes burning with passion. "That's why he spent ten minutes in the bathroom today!" she deduced.
I guess taking a number two never occurred as a possibility in the young girl’s mind. She ruffled around the bathroom, making a mess on the floor, sink and however impossible it might be, the ceiling. Still obsessed with the idea, Rio laid her eyes on the last possible object that could have been tampered with in the house. No, it was tampered with. She was sure of it. The brunette eyed the trash can, finding a cotton swab pointed diagonally upward. She picked it up.
"This is it!" she yelled. "I've found it."
Rio walked out of the bathroom, content, leaving it ransacked. In the living room, she found her mother watching television. Was she there before? She wouldn't have known, she was too busy making up excus- I mean searching for proof.
"Hey mom, I found it, look!" she said, pointing the dirty cotton swab at her mom.
The mother leaned back, freezing in position. She squinted.
"Honey, that's a cotton swab."
"Yes, it is! It's evidence. I caught Eon in the act!" Rio enthusiastically said.
"In the act of what? Cleaning his ears?" the mother asked, confused.
"It's a camera! He's clearly spying on us.”
What was she feeding her daughter? It must be her hormones, she deduced. Rio was a teenage girl after all, but whatever led her to believe that a piece of material used to clean your ears was a camera, eluded the mother.
"I'm starting to worry about you, Rio."
Ding Dong.
The sound of the doorbell. Rio's mom slowly got up to answer the door as Rio continued to examine the cotton swab. The door flung open as two men dressed in trench coats stood just outside of the house.
"We've come for Rio."
"Good, please be gentle with her. She's confused. Hopefully he can comfort her."
The brunette broke out of her trance, hearing the conversation halfway. She quickly stood up as the two men approached, grabbing her by the arms and dragging her out of the house. She struggled, pathetically putting up a resistance, or at least that’s what she wanted to believe. She did absolutely nothing to hinder their walk out the house.
"M-Mom! Don't let them take me!" She pleaded.
Her mother looked downward.
"It's for your benefit honey. Stop resisting."
"Mom!! Please, I'm not crazy! Don't let them take me to the loony bin!" she yelled, as they reached the black car.
The two men pushed her in and got in themselves in the front of the vehicle. They drove off, waving farewell to the mother in the process.
