Posted December 18, 201311 yr It just came out last year. On a newer console than the one HD 1.5 ReMIX was released on. When Square Enix announce a HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts 3D we'll let you know. But it doesn't need one yet.

December 18, 201311 yr Which is why after 2.5 is out, we should get a Wii U KH bundle with playable Days, Coded and DDD~ However long it takes no one cares.

Way to delay Kingdom Hearts III to 2018. It won't happen, Nomura doesn't have time to remake those games. He's directing Square Enix's last hope: FINAL FANTASY XV & Kingdom Hearts III.
December 18, 201311 yr Way to delay Kingdom Hearts III to 2018. Yes my personal opinion on a KH forum completely dictates the progression and development of the actual games.

December 18, 201311 yr Counter-Argument: It'd be really cool if they did it, anyway. And I'll say it again, I've seen instances where other companies did the exact same thing and everything worked out fine. Hell, I've seen it where the HD port was an improvement over the original game. Edited December 18, 201311 yr by Kaweebo
December 18, 201311 yr Well if they did that it would. Square Enix can't afford to do that though. SE may be in the red but they have been for many years and continue to put out games, and with each fiscal year they keep seeing improvements, so I doubt finances would really prevent them since as said they shouldn't be able to afford anything technically, but they still do. And considering there's two teams one could focus on KH3 and the one who's been working on 2.5 can work on a Wii U edition. Additionally, I never said the game would have to come out before KH3. Considering Days and Coded will already be remade it's not vital for the story, but it is a logical remake (KH games that started on the Nintendo) to introduce KH to the Wii U and make use of it's gamepad.

Why would Square make something like that when they couldn't even have enough time to remake Days? If they aren't going to do a full remake of days then don't expect a full remake of Coded either. Besides why remake both Days and Coded when you already made a cutscene compilation of both games? As for DDD, as Sora96 already said there's no need to even remake/port that game when it only came out last year and the 3DS is still doing well in sales. So there's no need for a remake/port for it. December 18, 201311 yr Well, I always figured if they needed more time after 2.5 came out to finish 3 then maybe they'd have KH3D as a backup already ready? Highly improbable hopes I know -_- however, it at least goes against the "KH3D only came out a year ago" thing. It will have been three years by that point at the earliest. If anything, maybe he could make a two part movie or something using the cutscenes by then.
December 18, 201311 yr As Sora96 said, people should stop dreaming about things that would drop Square Enix company by their ideas from far distance. Edited December 18, 201311 yr by Master Keeper
December 18, 201311 yr I almost never agree with Sora96 but this time he is right, DDD just came out last year their is no need for a remake. But Caity Raindrop has a point, they can make a 358/2days,coded and a DDD remake for the Wii U but it has to be after KH3 I don't want to play KH3 in 2018.
December 18, 201311 yr So what? BBSFM came out in 2011, a year older than 3D, yet no one's complaining about it being TOO NEW and NOT NEEDING AN HD REMASTER, despite being almost as recent as 3D. Whats the difference?

BBSFM came out in January 2011. A lot longer. Plus it's on a dead console. PSP is dead. And it's very easy to convert PSP to PS3.
December 18, 201311 yr That, and the fact that it it is impossible to port the parts that require the touch screen to a PS3/PS4 controller. You do realize the touch screen stuff will just be remapped to regular controls, right?

If they aren't going to do a full remake of days then don't expect a full remake of Coded either. Besides why remake both Days and Coded when you already made a cutscene compilation of both games? As for DDD, as Sora96 already said there's no need to even remake/port that game when it only came out last year and the 3DS is still doing well in sales. So there's no need for a remake/port for it. Why: 1. So that we can have HD remakes of playable versions of those games, not just cutscenes 2. So Wii U owners can have at least one form of a ReMIX on their console 3. the DS/3DS games are most suited to the Wii U because of the Gamepad/Touchscreen 4. I didn't say it had to come out immediately, by the time it's made if it were to be DDD can be "old" considering, BBS counts as "old" for being out in 2011. 5. Money, while cutscenes are already out there will be people who want to play them themselves who haven't got the original versions 6. And as said since the games ARE out in HD format, the story required for KH3 is out so the necessity to get a Wii U bundle done BEFORE KH3 wouldn't be prominent cause people have the "necessary information" to follow the plot, but that doesn't mean that people wouldn't enjoy getting a playable versions of them after I don't even own a Wii U, but criticism for the HD remixes included Days not being playable (and the same will be said about Coded), to address that it just makes sense to put the non-playable games onto the Wii U.
It just came out last year.
