Kingdom Hearts II Manga Volume 7 and Some small info?

Posted

This isn't really news IMO, I just wanted to share.

I just got my imported copy of Volume 7(I had a huge fangirl moment lol)Of the KH2 Manga. It goes from chapter 44 to 50

The thing that interests me is, Sen Manga (http://raw.senmanga.com/Kingdom_Hearts_II/42/) uploaded chapters 51-52 yesterday, and yet this is the newest volume to be released. Not that I'm disappointed, I'm quite happy with it, but the thing is...

How do they have those chapters if volume 8 isn't out yet?

On the sleeve on the book there is a little slip that mentions 2014 and I can, vaguely, because of the amount of unknown kanji, make out that it appears to say something about a new release. Could this mean volume 8?

If only my Japanese was better xD

Well yes, volume 8 will be released in 2014. Some Japanese magazine includes chapters early.

It's being serialised in Monthly Shōnen Gangan (from what I can tell, it's released roughly midway through the month, because that's usually when the raws are uploaded)
