Do u think the main games should follow the anime?

Posted

So after recently playing Pokemon Yellow I was wondering u guys think the main Pokemon games should follow the anime more or have its own story? That means we will get characters from the anime and the story.

So what do u guys think?

Not really. I just think the anime series should have a clear timeline. As in, the character should firetrucking age.

I kind of like the idea of turning Pokemon Red into a short anime series, though.

They shouldn't and I'm glad they doesn't follow the anime

I prefer that every game has it's own story and characters

I would love if I could order my Pokémon to dodge attacks like in the anime- on the flip side, I would be enraged to no end if my opponent's Pokémon kept dodging my attacks

No, no they should not. I fact I think, rather than continuing the anime they've been doing, there should be a "Pokemon Origin" style anime for each game, Maybe even do 2 for each game, one focusing on the Male and the other on the Female.

firetruck the anime.Unless it was specifically based on the games like the BW2 anime trailers. Something like that would be legit, but otherwise just no.

I'm really surprised in all of you I really am I thought Pokemon Yellow was amazing and it was interesting to play as the anime for a change. Plus we got characters like team rockets Jessie and James we got charmander bulbsaur and squirtle early on. But I guess I can't change your minds.

I'd much rather get to experience my journey through my own eyes, not Ash's. The game storylines are always more interesting, anyway. I wish that the anime followed the storyline of the games more. :/ Pokemon Origins was the best thing to come out of the Pokemon anime, we need more series like that one.

It was a nice touch in PKMN yellow I guess, but the anime is not that great,so I'd rather not.

Favorite characters in both.  I'm good.  Although I wouldn't mind seeing Clair be more like the way she is in the show.

I liked him until Sinnoh came along, and he suddenly forgot pretty much everything about how to be a trainer. Also, his whole "Only evolve one Pokemon" thing got kinda old to me. He seems to be better in the X/Y anime, though.

Yeah I kike his design in the X and Y series thy made him more beautiful! Lol also why is the word R£tarded censored?

The anime actually is supposed to be based off the games, but it goes off a lot on it's own too. I wouldn't mind watching the anime if it were more like the games, although I still need to watch that Pokemon Red anime special.
