I was just watching ABC news and they reported that the air pollution is over 500 the normal ratings. That's just sick! And some the pollution is actually making it over here in North America!

That's messed up and wrong! They don't have health regulations over there apparently

thats what my aunt told me. its a shame because its a beautiful country and if the put strict regulations on things over there then stuff like this would slow down. ive heard people have a hard time finding fresh water over there. :(

That's just disgusting and sad! Everyone there had those masks on.

The pollution's getting to Japan, but I haven't heard anything about it reaching North America. It's just starting to get bad in Japan, I doubt it's reached NA in that short of a timespan. Still, I hope that they can solve this problem. It would probably take years for the air to clear up, though.

Well I just saw on ABC news that it is hitting part of California, they showed a map where it's hitting. But man that's just terrible! I feel bad for the people that live there! They say they taste metallic in there mouths when they breathe.

Yeah , the air pollution problem ,there, is really serious .

Thankfully it's not hitting part of my area, since it's kinda close to where I'm at.

It's just all the factories, personal cars, and public transportation (buses, taxis). Just a lot of all those things. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by fresh water, but everyone knows you shouldn't drink tap water (if you do, boil it), and most people purchase giant water jugs and have a water cooler at home. It's just a thing.

Well, I don't know about the metallic taste, but last time I was in one of the more air-polluted cities (Xi'an), when I blew my nose at the end of the day (TMI warning) my snot was black-ish. It was kinda gross. I also made a decision to clean my nose at the end of every day there. xD
