So some of you know that I bought Lightning Returns and beat it but I didn't want to be harsh towards the game because I thought it wasn't a bad game but I will be honest right now

 

Lightning Returns has to be one of the worse games ever created. Don't get me wrong the story is there and it's great seeing all the characters that we grew up with but LR takes it to a whole new level of worst game ever created!

 

Gameplay: sure the gameplay is a bigger improvement but defeating monsters doesn't give u the satisfaction that it should give you. First of all taking out the crystarium was a big mistake, honestly it was what made FF13 fun and enjoyable.

 

Story: sure it's nice to see the old characters but the ending made this game upsetting for a hardcore fan like me.

 

Also I thought the whole clock system was a waste for a final FF13 game I for sure thought we get to go on this epic journey with the old gang to save Serah once again instead Lightning is by her self being gods little pawn.

 

And finally the last thing that has upsetted me to the point of hating this game so much.

 

God took away Lightnings personality just so she could focus in your goals which honestly didn't help this game I would of prefered Lightning grieving over Serahs death.

 

This game is the worst game for the following reasons!

 

1. Lightning has no emotions

2. Taking out what made FF13 enjoyable; Crystarium level system. And replace it with a stupid side quests.

3. Story is bland and boring far worst than FF13-2

4. Stupid time 13 days to beat the game; why should I keep replaying the game in order to only watch the cutscenes over and over again.

I believe the title for Worst Game Ever Created belongs to Big Rigs. You can't even call Big Rigs a game.

All in all, FFXIII is the videogame version of James Cameron's Avatar. They're not very good, but they look and sound nice, at least.

Yeah, selling the game's ending is stupid. If you're going to sell pieces of the story as DLC don't make it part of the main story.

Worst game ever? really?

 

I know it's not the best game, but definitely not the worst. (The worst game was the E.T. game ont the Atari)

This game has made me angry in such a bad way. I have played Sonic 06 sure it's not finished and some of the levels are unplayable but at least it has it moments. With LR the game is just terrible like I said above I didn't want to be harsh on the game I am only giving my honest opinion on it right now.

I hear you well I'm not ever going to pick this game up again it's that bad.

To each there own I enjoyed the game...kinda I didn't think it was a good as the first 2 and the side quests did get a little annoying after a while but I thought the Bhunivelze fight was pretty cool and I wish Caius would have gotten more screen time but...meh.

I was okay with it still wished he would have showed up more he was probably my favorite character in the XIII trilogy

Yeah, I would have liked more cutscenes with the other main characters too, but oh well. Good closure all round imo.

Yeah I suppose...My favorite character in the first game is Lightning but after that it's Caius for the next two games even if he didn't appear very much...I also like Sazh though.
