So I just found out that there are no more hidden characters in Mario Kart 8 Xplain on Youtube confirmed that there are no more hidden characters, and Nintendo once again revealed all characters early on. Does this effect you buy the game? or are you still planning on getting the game?

 

As for me I'm a bit upset but I just want to try out that new Gravity so bad, so no!

 

What does this mean for some fans?

 

It means

 

King Boo

Diddy Kong

Dry Bones

and many other characters will not be in the game.

I honestly don't really care. I knew everyone in Smash Bros Brawl before release, and I was still incredibly excited for it. I'll definitely be buying this, not like I play Mario Kart JUST for the characters.

Because they can? None of us can say WHY they do it.

I really care more about the tracks and the vechiles really,basing my purchase on the fact that King Boo isn't there would be absolutely stupid

 

I'm still excited for the game and I'll buy it day one so I don't get how's this a sad day

 

It's not like the characters will stray away from the classes they're in cuz unlike a fighting game like Smash Bros,characters in racing games doesn't really matter cuz all of them are classified under:Light,Medium,Heavy...etc and play the same as other characters in the same class.

 

Please tell me people won't make a big deal out of this and cancel pre-orders just because freakin Pitty Phirana (a generic boss from Mario Sunshine) isn't there

If this was Super Smash Bros I would've agreed with you,but this is Mario Kart the characters means nothing other than an aesthetic change,what matters are the stats of their vechiles and which class they're in alongside the tracks.

Your telling me a Baby character or a Metal character is more important than different characters? wow you must have a pathetic mind. To me characters are more important than the tracks I would rather have awesome characters and terrible track ideas. Honestly from the list of all the characters they listed in this game not one of them I like. In MK Wii I always picked King Boo and Dry Bowser.

Well for one, they're a business company. So of course they're going to show off all of the characters before the game comes out in order to get more people interested in the game. All gaming companies tend to do this with their games so this really not should come offf as a surprise nor a complaint. As for the actual topic, I'm still excited for the game and will still be purchasing it nontheless. I mean come on, the game looks to be one of the best looking games for the Wii U and will possibly help boost sales for the console alsong with Smash bros 4.

I'm actually all in because of Baby Peach. I'll be honest there, but even if she wasn't in, I'd just play as Luigi or Rosalina.
