Red Eye's and the Key

Sonya looked rather uninterested as she saw their father sent flying across the room, calmly taking her medicine. She wanted to shout 'I told you so!' but she was wasn't in the mood for it. Another gulp of her water was taken before the water was placed quietly on the table, slightly clearing her throat. "Well, is that not enough proof for you or does she have to severely injure someone in order for you people to get it?" A slight glance was taken towards Naomi before she continued. "But anyways, there's this place called the Heat Haze. Apparently people die on the 15th of August with another person in order to be brought back to life and get abilities like the ones Naomi and I have. I died with...my brother....and he's stuck there so I'm trying to find a way to bring him back. So-" A hand was placed firmly on the table. "If there's any way I find out how to get my brother back, I would like to know. Any information would be appreciated." Her brows narrowed as they dared towards everyone in the room, her tone darkening. "And don't you dare protest with me that that daughter of yours haven't died before. That's the only way she's able to do that." Sonya got up to her feet and crossed her arms. "Unless you don't mind me borrowing her for a small field trip to find others like us. I can be like a big sister to her after all~!" Her eyes averted themselves away from them. And I would love to leave this goddamn place already...

Meanwhile

It was rather rude for people to stare with weird looks on their face, especially at a person who just got brought back to life and doesn't know where she is. As she was receiving many stares, Anya was also feeling rather drowsy.  The goggles remained off of her face as she walked out the streets of Hallow Bastion, not bothering to utter a word to anybody despite trying to find a way back home. Meanwhile, a familiar man walked out of a clinic that she happened to be walking by. It was Ciro, his face still somewhat cringed in pain as there was a white looking bandage across the bridge of his nose. He slightly waved back to the nurse that escorted him out before his eyes fell on Anya, silence drifting over him. She too stopped walking, as he was blocking her path. He noticed that her eyes were red and quickly placed his gaze elsewhere. Anya slightly raised an eyebrow before slightly huffing. "You're in my way." She muttered, crimson eyes glaring at him. "You don't happen to be wearing contacts..do you?" A frown made its way on her lips. "Why the hell would I be? Now move out of my way." He was about to say something else when he found himself taking a step back without thinking. As he was baffled, Anya simply walked past him, rather annoyed. "W-wait just a second miss!" He reached to touch her shoulder. Just as he did, Anya swung her arm at him to shake him off. "Nng, get off of me!" Although Ciro caught her arm before it could hit him in the face, a smile placed on his lips. "Do you realize what you just did to me miss?" "....?" A small pocket mirror was pulled out of his pocket and held in front of her face. Her eyes widened as she saw that her eyes weren't their natural brown color. "Pretty neat, huh?" Anya pulled her arm away. "No it's fking not!! How did this happen to me?!" So she's not aware of her eye ability... Ciro clapped his hands together, amused. "Just an ability that you possess. Apparently you can control people somehow. But-" A finger was raised up. "You've yet to fully understand how to use it. so how about letting me mentor you?" A hand was offered to her as she just stared at it dumbfounded. There was a slight silence before she snickered and turned her back to him, crossing her arms. "And why should I trust someone like y-" "You did seem lost here. Perhaps this isn't where you live? I can always take you to your desired destination." Anya fell silent before she glanced back at him. "..Really?" "Of course! I don't lie, although in return I would like for you to do me a favor." "And what is that exactly?" Ciro simply brought out his keyblade before opening a portal. "The specifics can always be discussed on the way. shall we get going then?"

Naomi listened to Sonya, even though her dad was yelling at her, and so was her mother. Ren however walked over to Sonya.

"We adopt Naomi from an orphanage, she doesn't know a lot about the world. Something like that must have happened." he said.

Naomi walked past her parents.

"Could you be my big sister?" she asked.

Her eyes faded back to grey and she sat down, looking out the window.

"I remember now...something took him away." Naomi muttered.

"Who?" Ren asked.

"This 'Heat Haze', took away my only friend. I don't remember who I was like back then, but I remember that one person. Their name is unknown to be, their face is there though." Naomi said, looking at Sonya.

She then imminently stood up.

"I am leaving this house and going with Sonya." Naomi announced, running up to her room. 

Her parents didn't even say a thing as she came down with a bag, and some type of weapon concealed in a case.

"I've had this weapon for a short while now, its just I know I would get in trouble for having it." Naomi said. 

She looked at Sonya now, a serious look in her eyes.

"I am going to help you, Sonya. Help you get your brother back." she said with a smile.

Sonya blinked, a bit dumbfounded, at Naomi's response. She didn't exactly expect her to agree and had a feeling that she was going to have to drag her along if she needed to. This made things much easier for her at least. "Y-yeah. Of course." She watched Naomi disappear around the corner for a few minutes, slightly staying silent as her eyes slightly shifted over to her parents and brother, as they were, too, a bit caught off guard by this. They were probably going to hate her for taking their daughter but for some reason, she wasn't really caring that much, as she had her own goals to accomplish. Sonya watched as Naomi came back with a few things in her hands. I didn't mean a road trip literally! Although the case in her hand caught her interest, as if a sword was in there. She was beginning to wonder why Naomi would have such a thing in her possession at all. Regardless, Sonya planted her hands on her hips, a cheerful grin on her face. "Thanks! Odin's a real cool guy. You'll get to meet him once we get him out! We can even try and get your friend too. But..." She pointed a finger over to the case conealliing a weapon. "What's that?"

"I will show you later." Naomi said simply, the two wondering out of their house without a word.

"You're just going to let her go?!" Naomi's mother yelled.

Naomi's father nodded, Ren nodding too.

Once the two were outside, Naomi showed the weapon. It was some type of key.

"I don't know why I got this, but it just showed up one day, like it was my destiny to have it or something." she said seriously.

Sonya followed behind the female, slightly waving back at the speechless family before softly closing the door behind her. A small sigh escaped her lips before looking over to see that Naomi has out a weapon, a familiar one at that. "Eh- Whaaat!?" She pointed a finger at the keyblade in shock. "You're a keyblade wielder!?" She remembered her run in with Ciro and sighed. "Yeah..it probably is. But you do know how to use it, right?" She only reckoned that she didn't, being that the girl already had amnesia or something. She tapped a finger to her chin in thought, her other hand sliding into her jacket pocket. "Ah whatever. You'll learn somehow. But for now we need to leave here." Her eyes went back to Naomi. "Do you know how to make one of those portal things?"

Phil raised an eyebrow and started to laugh. "Him,a god?! HAHAHAHAHA!"Phil laughed as he referred to Yato. Azure stomped his feet. "I'm serious he's a god!"Azure insisted. "I've never,ever heard of a god named Yato."Phil said. "Don't rub it in he already has that problem scarring him in his little god heart. He may be unknown and unpopular and kind of lazy and has no shrine but he's a god no less!"Azure insisted. Ceres sweatdropped. "Azure I don't think you're helping the situation or making Yato feel any better..."Ceres muttered. Azure knelt down to Phil's size. "Please,please Phil,let us participate? We can kick ass I promise! Who wouldn't like to see a god fight along side two mortals?"Azure asked. "Like I said,only heroes get to compete."Phil insisted. "PLEAAAAAASE~"Azure begged as he got his hands together. "Azure we can't force him."Ceres muttered. "Wait,I have one more trick up my sleeve!"Azure said with a smirk. His eyes started to glow red as he gave Phil puppy eyes. "Come on Phil,competing here is like,our dream! Haven't you ever had a dream that never came true?!"Azure asked,pretending to have tears forming as he wiped his eyes. "I-"Phil's heart suddenly became heavy as Azure's red eyes started to influence him. "I...I...WHA!!!"Phil started to cry. Ceres kicked Azure right on the head and across the room. "DON'T DO THAT TO PEOPLE!"Ceres yelled. "But it's the only way I can think of that he'll let us in!" "You'll bring back any bad memories he has!" The two glared at each other as they pressed their heads against each other.

Yato sighed, putting his hands on his hips. Without wasting any time, Yato took Azure and Ceres' heads and bumped them together. "You two are acting childish again. And Azure..." Yato put Azure into a headlock and covered his eyes. "... Stop doing unnecessary things, you're drawing too much attention and this is not the place to do it." Yato was acting strangely on edge, looking around. "Hey Phil, if you just wanna show us the way to the Underworld, that would be great. Also, forget what this guy said, we just got him out of the loony bin, so forgive him." Phil frowned, obviously looking displeased with what Yato was asking. "No way. You wanna go to the Underworld? Wait until you're dead." "Well technically, we're all already dead." The other two looked over at Yato confused, but he simply waved his hand. "Already dead? Then how can you be here? Did you cheat death?" "Sort of..." "Hades is going to be pretty mad. He doesn't like it when souls escape from his clutches." "You have no idea~..." Phil sighed. "Well, I'll make you a deal. If you make it back from the Underworld, I'll give you a chance at the games." "Thanks. Well, see ya." Yato then grabbed Azure and Ceres' hands, running out the door, leaving Phil looking confused. "A God named Yato? ... There's no such God." The three came to a halt outside, finding what seemed to be a dark looking gateway in front of them. "Well... Found it... Oh yeah, about the dead thing, I just made it up, don't worry. Anyway, once we enter the Underworld, we're going to slowly become weaker and weaker. It's a place where not even the light can protect us. You ready?" Yato stared at the entrance to the Underworld, holding his head in thought. "(I never expected that I'd be back here again... Damn you Ren.)"

 

~Meanwhile~

 

"So let me get this straight, you're saying that you, the guy in that phone, two of your followers and countless other people are finding a way to cheat your way out of coming here?" "Just tell me why this is happening? What the hell is the Heat Haze and why do people go there when they die with someone close on August 15th?" Ren was faced with the God of the Underworld himself, slowly observing as he tried to maintain his composure. "It appears to be some kind of curse, one that stops half of you from dying and all of you from passing into the Underworld." "I figured that much out myself. Is that all you got?" "Well excuse me for not knowing why people aren't dying!" Ren was getting slightly irritated with Hades inability to produce any new information. "This is a waste of my time, I'm out of here." "I don't think you are." Ren huffed, turning his back on the God who could be seen smiling. "After all, I have Aika." Ren froze, holding the phone that contained Blake and stuffed it straight into his pocket. "I know everyone who's passed through here Ren, even the one who once meant everything to you. So, I'll make you a deal." Ren turned back. "A deal?" "Yes, you hand over the others who have eye powers and I'll let you be with her again." Ren looked down, looking as if he was thinking, but he then raised his hand and summoned his Keyblade. "Hades, you can't bring back people from the dead, so that must mean you want me and everyone else dead." "A Keyblade?!" Ren smirked, starting to chuckle darkly. "I won't be defeated by anyone..." Ren spun and pointed his Keyblade right at Hades, his eyes glowing bright red due to his eyes activating. "... Not even to a god like you!" Hades' blue flamed head started to burn more until the fire turned golden yellow with a hint of orange and red, his skin also turning red to show much he had been enraged. "I'll send you to the pits of Tartarus for your arrogance you little brat!"

Ceres rubbed her head,muttering curses under her breath. Azure was smiling brightly,however. "So we find Ren,head back and we get to be in the games?! Yato you truly are a god of wonders!"Azure cheered. Soon enough he lowered his arms as he faced the gloomy entrance. "Holy mother of cheese that looks cool."Azure muttered. "That's creepy!"Ceres gritted her teeth. "If we get weaker and weaker,if Hades decides to make us permanent residents he can easily do it!" "Don't worry so much about it and go with the flow! We have the eye powers and a god we can't really be that bad. Besides,Ren is in there,so we might as well go find him." "Yeah,you're right. Well,I'm ready." "I'm more than ready!"Azure jumped up in happiness as he pretty much dashed inside. "Race you to Ren! Loser gets to buy dinner!"Azure yelled as his voiced echoed. "WHA! Azure don't just go running in!"Ceres yelled as she walked after him with Yato. The place was dark and gloomy. Cracks on the walls with magma illuminated the way. Regardless of the fire and the magma,the entire place gave chills. "I don't think I want to die if it means going down here."Ceres muttered. "That and the owner is a total @$$!"Azure smiled laughing as his voice echoed. Soon enough they could hear the moaning of the dead,which had Ceres frozen on her tracks for a second. "What was that?"Ceres asked. Souls could be seen floating back and forth in eternal sadness down the hall. Azure gripped Ceres' arm tightly. "Ceres...!!!"He whispered. "What?! What?!"Ceres asked. "...I see dead people."Azure said before bursting out laughing. "YOU ASSHAT!"Ceres yelled as she kicked him across the head,sending him flying forward and crashing against one of the many rocks. "I couldn't help myself."Azure chuckled as he sat up smiling. He glanced around at the floating people and smiled. "I think I'm going to make puns." "Don't you dare!" Too late. Azure stood up and walked casually and so hell started. "They there! I once chocked on my tea,and I couldn't stop coffin!  I'm dead-sure that punchline did not reach it's deathtination! This humor's getting too grave! It's almost tomb much for me!"Azure punned as Ceres could only follow while hiding her face behind her kimono sleeves. "He's too much."She muttered. She then had a thought. "Wait a second,this is the gateway to hell. Then doesn't that mean Cerberus would be around?"

Naomi slipped her hood on, putting the keyblade up.

"I have no idea what Portal you are talking about." she said simply.

"Well, having your eye ability, you could say that you were always special." She sighed as her arms crossed. "It's like a sword. You use it to kill these things called heartless. Although, there's none around here so we're fine." Sonya raised an eyebrow at her in surprise before glancing away. "You know- a thing to get around or something. Like free transportation." She rubbed a finger to her forehead. "I dunno, hold the keyblade in front of you and imagine one popping up. I can't do it so you have to." She said this as a bit hastily, wanting the girl to make one so they can leave before her family changed her mind and tried to come after her.

Azure stopped his puns for a moment. "Cerberus? As in the gatekeeper of hell?"Azure smiled. "That's the one. The three headed beast that keeps the dead from leaving and the living from entering."Ceres chirped. "I've never confronted Cerberus before. You think he'd be a tough guy to beat?"Azure asked. "Most likely,as he's the pet of a god."Ceres muttered. "You know,since I cheated death,I think I want to be a god!"Azure smiled. "That's easier said than done. Besides shouldn't we focus on finding Ren,he has Blake with him too so we should go find them, Hades might be causing them trouble or something."Ceres insisted. "Oh right cause Hades' a total @$$!"Azure laughed. "Speaking of gods."Azure said as he turned to Yato. "Yato I never asked,what kind of god are you? Hades is the god of death,and Aphrodite the goddess of beauty,surely you must have a title that belongs to you?"Azure asked,curious of what Yato could be god of. "Maybe you're the god of the unpopular gods?"Azure asked with a laugh. Ceres could feel a headache coming along with Azure's antics. "You're alive?" Ceres turned to see a ghost of a small boy,seemed no older than 10. "Er,yes. We came to find a friend?"Ceres said.

 

"Everyone here is dead. Hades won't allow anyone to leave. So you should head back before he makes you part of the harem."The small boy said rather bluntly. Ceres glanced down,she couldn't help but to feel a slight ache in her heart,seeing a kid this young down here at the very least. "The friend we're looking for is alive. He came here to ask Hades questions. You haven't seen him have you?"Ceres asked. "If he was alive he most likely got eaten by Cerberus."The little boy said. Azure,not really paying attention,quickly ran over with the mention of the three headed dog. "Cerberus? What Cerberus?"Azure asked. Before anyone else could answer,they all heard a loud roar,the cave around them shaking wildly. From the entrance beyond,large paws came into view,along with one,two,three heads. It was Cerberus. "That Cerberus."The little boy said as he pointed at it. Ceres' jaw dropped. "Cool!"Azure smiled. "I'm out of here. I'll see you losers later."The boy said as he ran off,disappearing within a sudden mist. "Oh hell no we ain't joining this place."Ceres shrieked. "Then it means we have to beat Cerberus up!"Azure smiled as he took out his blades from his hips. "Surely you know how to use magic right?"Azure asked at Ceres. "Celestial Magic,but I'm not mean to use it without permission of the council!"Ceres muttered.

 

"The council has no authority here. The moment you stepped out of that spaceship you've entered into a world where rules are insignificant if it means that your life is on the line."Azure said with a smirk as his eyes started to glow red,staring Ceres directly in the eyes. "Now be as brave as I,and lets kick some ass!"Azure laughed. Ceres' eyes suddenly narrowed,being influenced by Azure's impulses. She clapped her hands as they got covered with a golden glow. Behind and around Ceres,magic started to form multiple blades,floating behind and around her. "Celestial Magic: Stardust blades."Ceres said as she was surrounded by a dozen gleaming blades. "That's what I'm talking about!"Azure smiled as he rushed at Cerberus. "Hey over here big guy!"Azure yelled as Cerberus aimed its paw to crush Azure,only for Azure to backflip and dodge it. He charged once again as he sliced at Cerberus' paws,drawing piping hot blood from the small cuts. One of the heads bit down at Azure,grabbing him by one of his arms. The head threw him up in the air,and opened its mouth,ready to eat.

 

"Oh sh*t!"Azure screamed. "That's my opening!"Ceres said as she ran forward and jumped infront of Cerberus. Aiming at one of its neck,which was easily exposed due to it aiming to eat the falling Azure. Ceres spun her arms,the blades glowing as they reacted to her. The blades instantly flew across from Ceres and right across the Cerberus' neck,slashing it as piping hot blood started to splatter everywhere. The Cerberus head roared in pain as it quickly contracted back. Azure fell down on the Cerberus' back,sliding down only to slide into a jump and aim at a wall. He quickly spun and ricochated from the wall,jumping from it to go across the Cerberus' heads. Dodging it's bites,Azure spun and slashed at one of the left head's eyes,having it roar in pain as he then landed on their shoulder. "Aim for the Achilles Tendon!"Azure yelled. "Do dogs have one?!" "Surely something's keeping them up!"Azure smiled as he ran up the left head and looked down at the eye that could still see. His eyes glowing red. "How you feeling,buddy?!"Azure asked. The beast roared wildly as Azure did it's best to affect it with his eyes.

 

Though he didn't know if he could,such a large beast he had never tried before. The head shook and swung wildly trying to get Azure off,hitting the other heads in the process,much to Azure's dismay as he tried to hang onto the head for dear life. Ceres ran right under the Cerberus,swinging her arms around as she aimed for the feet,slicing the back of them as her swords did the best. Such a large beast was meant to have thick skin. At least it was the Hydra! Cerberus then started to slam itself against the cave's walls,slamming its feet down creating craters as Ceres dodged while cursing. "You alright,Azure?!"Ceres asked. Azure held onto dear life,its claw blades hanging onto the skin of the beast. As the beast lowered its head,Azure casually was lowered down to a level where Ceres could see him. "Doing pretty good. I want to see if I can use my powers on the Cerberus."Azure said. "You crazy?!"Ceres asked. Azure smiled. "Hey guys! Aim for all the eyes but one!"With that Azure was flung back up along with the heads.

Yato's eyes narrowed at the appearance of Cerberus, his skin looking a little paler than usual. "(As if I can take on something like that in my state. Then again, what choice do I have?)" Yato held out his hand, a flash of white appeared in front of him as he took hold of his sword. With a flick of his wrist, Yato swung his sword to one side and ran at the three headed beast. "Hey! Guardian of the Underworld! Over here!" All three heads turned their attention on Him, throwing Azure to one side and making Yato smile nervously. "Okay... Let's see what I got. Can't let down my adoring followers." Yato jumped into the air, dodging out the way of a giant paw. While in the air, Yato flipped so that his feet made contact with the roof. Instantly, he sprang from the roof and slashed at Cerberus' middle head, stunning it. However, another head came in from Yato's side and bit him in the leg. "Damn..." Yato began to beat the head with the hilt of his sword until he saw large teeth in the sword's reflection. He then put his sword behind him, lodging it in the mouth of one of the other heads. "Hey, guys, just saying, this might be a good time to help me out." Yato looked up to see the middle head about to chomp down on him. He then let go of his sword, allowing the head that was biting into his leg to pull him out of the way. "Come on you stupid... Let me go..." Yato dug a hand into the mouth that held his leg and started pulling it open until he simply on to the floor. "I haven't been this badly beaten since the last time I was here..." Yato stood back up, looking back at Azure. "Azure, you said you can use your eye power on Cerberus, right? I'll give you the opening you need." Yato held his leg a little before beginning to run around Cerberus, drawing his attention again. He then jumped above Cerberus and ran his finger along his blade, making it shine. "Thou who desecrates this land of the rising sun! With my advent, I, the Yato God... Lay waste with the Sekki... And expel thy vast defilement!" Yato then flew straight down and slashed head on with Cerberus. "Rend!" Yato's blade was shining brightly, keeping The three headed dog at bay as he kept the pressure on. Yato's eyes were glowing a little more than what they were before, his cat like pupils becoming narrower. Yato yelled as he backed for a second and slammed the middle head once again, knocking Cerberus down to the ground. "Azure! Get him now!"

 

~Meanwhile~

 

Ren deflected fire balls from burning him to death as he jumped around the room, infuriating Hades even more in the process. "You little brat, do you have any idea how annoying it is trying to kill you?! Why don't you try standing still for a few seconds!!" Ren smirked, slashing through another fire ball and rushed at Hades. "For one who rules over death, you're having a lot of trouble trying to kill me." Ren slashed Hades a few times before he was grabbed by the throat. "You're amazingly lively for a dead man... And what's this?" Hades smiled, holding Ren up by his neck and knocking his Keyblade out of his hand. "You have an unbelievable amount of darkness in your heart kid. It's a wonder that you haven't succumbed to it yet. Well, maybe I can help you with that." The whole area around the two began to dim, a dark mist coming up from the ground. "You're in the Underworld kid, the light won't save you here." Hades held up his hand near Ren's chest, forcing darkness into his chest, causing Ren to scream out in pain. Ren's eyes began to glow a bright gold colour, as he looked back at Hades with a smirk. "I haven't been pushed this far since my first encounter with Yato." Hades' eyes widened a little. "Yato you say? ... I haven't seen him since he escaped from the Underworld 1000 years ago." "What?! 1000 years? That's not possible! No one can live that long!" "They can if they're not human." "You mean, he's really a God?" "I can understand why you'd think otherwise. He's quite different to the way he used to be back in the dark ages. He would grant any wish, just so that he would survive. If Gods aren't remembered by people, then they can't grant wishes... And if they can't grant wishes, then they die. The key to a god's life, is the people who follow them and Yato was willing to grant any wish to make sure he survived, no matter how dark the wish." Hades dropped Ren, allowing him to fall onto his hands and knees. "So, I can't kill you." "You could never kill me, you're only human." Ren looked up, his eyes pulsing gold. "Then instead of Kill, I'll just defeat you." Ren began to stand up, a dark aura circling around his body. "How are you doing this?! With this much darkness, you should have become a Heartless by now!" "Don't think I'm so weak that I'll be beaten by the darkness! I'll use this power and crush anyone in my way! Including you Hades!" Ren picked up his Keyblade and jumped at Hades, slashing at him. However, Hades had disappeared in a flash of smoke. "You may have been able to conquer the darkness in your heart kid, but you're still not getting out of here alive." "We'll see about that." Ren then left Hades' chamber and headed outwards, but was met by what seemed to be an infinite amount of Heartless. "Looks like you're not letting me out easily. Fine, bring it on!"

"Well, having your eye ability, you could say that you were always special." She sighed as her arms crossed. "It's like a sword. You use it to kill these things called heartless. Although, there's none around here so we're fine." Sonya raised an eyebrow at her in surprise before glancing away. "You know- a thing to get around or something. Like free transportation." She rubbed a finger to her forehead. "I dunno, hold the keyblade in front of you and imagine one popping up. I can't do it so you have to." She said this as a bit hastily, wanting the girl to make one so they can leave before her family changed her mind and tried to come after her. 

 

"Fine Ms. Bossy Pants." Naomi snapped, holding Sign of Innocence in front of her and imagining a little portal popping up.

It was such a stupid thought, how could she create a portal just by imagining it?

To Naomi's surprise however, a portal was made.

"Whoa that is awesome!" she said with a smile.

However, that smile turned serious as she looked at Sonya.

"There are other worlds out there...and they contain these 'Heartless', they are dangerous, right? If so, then what do you use to fight?" Naomi asked seriously.

Azure smirked. "Sir yes sir!"Azure smiled as he gripped on his weapon and pulled himself from it,leaping forward so he would land right on the head. He knelt down and got over the eye,forcing it to be open with his hands as the Cerberus gave off its worst glare. Azure's eyes started to glow red,making them stand out within the darkness of the cave. "Hey big guy,why don't you just chill the f*ck out will ya?!"Azure asked as the Cerberus' eye widened as Azure's power started to take effect. The eye contact remained a few seconds before the Cerberus blinked a few times. It carefully looked up and around. Instead of trying to kill them,he was just...calm. Its eyes having a special gleam due to Azure's influence. Azure petted the giant beast gently as he got his weapons away. "You calm now boy?"Azure asked as he pet Cerberus behind the ear,receiving a pant and a tap from Cerberus,meaning he liked it. Ceres smiled as she glanced up and her blades disappeared. "Azure,you managed to tame Cerberus! You actually did it!"Ceres smiled. "Hell yeah. Thanks to you guys,especially Yato and his powerful attack!"Azure smiled as one of the heads started to lick Azure on the face. Ceres turned to Yato. "Yato that was amazing. You truly are stronger than you look! Even for a silly god."Ceres smiled. "Hey losers! Get up here! Cerberus is going to give us a ride to Hades!"Azure laughed. Before any of them could complain two of the heads had already picked them up by the clothing and settled them on its shoulder. Azure sat comfortably on the middle head. "Alright boy! Take us to Hades and Ren!"Azure said as he petted the best once more. Cerberus did as told as he gently turned around hurried its way to where Hades would currently be. Ceres sat down and then glanced down at Yato's leg. "Yato you got bit. Let me take a look at it."Ceres said. Before Yato could refuse Ceres had already pulled herself over to him and over the leg,getting her hands around it gently as they got tainted in blood. "Jikes some of the teeth even went through and through. The bone's intact though. Sort of."Ceres said with a wary smile as she pressed her hands down on his leg,blood now covering her from her wrist down. "Curaga."Ceres muttered as her hands started to glow green,working on the injury, at the very least numbing any pain if she could. Azure glanced back. "Why healing him? He's a god,surely it doesn't even hurt!"Azure commented as he threw his hands in the air. He did see Yato as pretty powerful after their fight. "Well,the worst part about being strong is that no one ever asks if you're ok."Ceres smiled. Azure stared dazed. "Wha?~ What kind of stuff is that?"Azure asked as he let himself rest on Cerberus' head. "Surely Ren has Hades in a choke hold by now though."

Ah- " The first thing that came to her mind was her bike that she used to plow down heartless that just happened to be in her path. Although, such a thing couldn't be considered much as a weapon,as she was simply throwing caution to the wind. Her hands moved onto Naomi's shoulders. "Don't worry about me. I've managed to take care of them using my wits after all. I'll be fine." She said firmly, although she was trying to convince herself that she would be okay without any means to protect herself. Sonya turned the female's body around so that she was facing the portal. "But come on, we need to get going before anyone sees this thing here."

Yato smiled a little as Ceres began healing his leg. "Thanks Ceres. I'm afraid that what Azure said is wrong. I'm not as powerful a god as I once was. In fact, I have little to no regenerative powers. The best I could do is heal a small cut within a few hours. A wound like this would take just short of a month to heal on it's own. That and then there's the fact that we're in the Underworld." Yato looked down a little, his expression quite serious. "For the two of you, it might have only been a funny feeling or a sense of unease when you entered here, but it's on a whole other scale for me. My powers come from the light, so I'm severely crippled in terms of power while I'm here. A dark god like Hades, who basically lives in the darkness, would only get stronger here. It's the same for the darkness, it's influence would also become stronger. For someone like Ren, it could be dangerous, especially if he confronted Hades himself. Even if Ren is stronger than the average Keyblade wielder, he's still no match for a god." Yato looked up and over at Azure, remembering that he had asked a question before Cerberus had ambushed them. "Azure, you asked me what kind of god I am, right? The simplest answer would be to say that I used to be one of the war gods. If you want something more specific, you'll have to ask someone else. It's something I'm not fond of talking about. Anyway, we have more pressing matters to attend to." Everyone looked upfront as Yato had pointed out, showing that Ren was walking towards them with keyblade in hand. The beast came to a halt a few feet from Ren's position. "I assume you went to see Hades. Well, did he know anything?" "No, he was completely incompetent." "I see. Then tell me, what happened to your eyes Ren?" Ren stared at Yato, a frown swept over his face as he put a hand in front of his eyes. "Nothing you need concern yourself with." Ren moved his hand away to show that they were his usual colour of red. "I see that you have tamed the guardian of the Underworld, impressive work." "Azure used his powers on the beast after I stunned it." Yato stood up straight, his leg now healed to a certain degree. "Ren, can we really trust? I'm sure that I wasn't the only one to notice the darkness that radiated off of you just a second ago." "This isn't like you Yato, acting so serious. You're beginning to sound like you're going to kill me." "Don't make me." Ren and Yato's glares mirrored each other, not one showing any sign of backing down. All of a sudden, they both smirked at each other. "Let's get out of here, it's a bit too gloomy for my tastes." "I couldn't agree more. Azure, let's go." Ren jumped up and landed on Cerberus' back. As he landed, the blonde turned towards Ceres, pulling out the phone that contained Blake. "Here, you can have him back now. Didn't do me a lot of good." Ren looked out at the dark corridors of the Underworld, thinking to himself. "(The darkness within me seems to have calmed down for now, but if I let it flow out like that again, I may not be able to come back from it the same as I was before.)"

Azure smiled. "A god of war. Oh I want to be a god of war!"Azure squealed as he tapped Cerberus' head. The beast turned over and started to make its way to the exit. Ceres carefully took the phone and glanced down at it. "Well Blake,we haven't encountered that guy that killed you. Though then again if he's looking to kill someone he wouldn't really look in a place where 99% of the population is already dead."Ceres chuckled slightly. Ceres glanced over at Ren. She had felt it too. It was the same darkness that she had witnessed back at the Destiny Islands' library. It was strong yet...it always felt as if it was unstable,though it seemed Ren had it under control. Ceres glanced away for a moment. She couldn't stay quiet. She had to say something. "Um..."Ceres muttered. The right words to say. She had to find them. She smiled lightly and turned to Ren. "Er,Ren. I know it isn't my business but..."Ceres muttered. She had to find the right words. He did got angry easily as far a she had seen. "The darkness I saw in the library seemed...kind of out of control. It's not me to tell you how to use it,but maybe,you should,could be a bit more careful with it?"Ceres asked. Darkness has always had a bad reputation. Being too strong for most of those who try to use it to control. Those who aren't able to control it always ended up swallowing the user up. It was a thing that has always been repeated through multiple times in history. "I mean. Darkness has a bad reputation,you could get swallowed by it if not careful?"Ceres asked,slightly flinching back yet smiling softly. Sort of preparing in case Ren got angry. Azure waved his feet as he glanced down. "Maybe Phil or Hercules know about the Heat Haze? Hercules is the son of a god. So maybe he knows something or can ask for us."Azure suggested as Cerberus stopped at the entrance. It lowered its heads to let them down. Azure rubbed one of its head. "Thank you so much Cerberus~"Azure smiled as he jumped off.

Ren jumped off of Cerberus and headed for the portal leading out of the Underworld. "You're walking off a bit fast, aren't you?" Ren looked back at Yato who was walking close behind him. "Hades might appear at any second here. It's safer to get out of his territory." "If you say so. Anyway, I guess that now that we're on our way out of the Underworld, we can see Phil and enter the Games." Yato, smiled as Ren could only sigh to himself. "You've got to be kidding me..." Yato put his arms around Azure and Ceres' shoulders, walking with them through the portal to the coliseum as Ren led the pack. Ren looked up at the sun with an irritated look, almost blinded by the light from above. "Hey! Phil! We're back, see? And we even managed to subdue Cerberus and save our fearless leader from Hades all by ourselves, pretty impressive, right?" "Well, you can consider me impressed. Not many who go into the Underworld ever come back out." "So, how about letting us into the Games?" "Well, I do have four spaces to fill up... All right." Yato smiled and threw a fist into the air.  "Hold on, don't start celebrating just yet." Yato froze and then tilted his head in confusion as Phil set out a small black board with a tournament style sketch. "Okay, so here's how this is going to work. There are four Quarter Final matches, the winners will go on to the two Semifinals and then the last two will enter the finals. So far, we have eight competitors. There's the four of you, Herc, and the other three, who all look like total whack jobs." "So basically, you have no idea who they are." "Great detective skills Kid. Now, just write your names on a piece of paper and I'll mix them up and draw them out and put them on different places of the tournament." After a couple of minutes messing around with the pieces of paper. "Okay, this is how it'll go. Yato will fight in the first round against Hercules. Azure and Ceres will fight each other in the second round and Ren will fight in the third round." "That's not really telling me who I'm fighting." "The guy didn't give a name, what do you want me to do?" Ren grumbled quietly. "All right, the first round should be ready soon, you should all go inside and get ready, especially you Yato." Yato smiled and walked inside. "You got it!" As everyone headed inside, a green hooded boy began laughing. "What a coincidence to run into them here. This should be fun."

Azure smirked,getting his fingers crooked as if they were claws before gently waving his hand at Ceres. "Rawr."Azure smirked. Ceres glared which made Azure laugh brightly. "Atleast it's against me. Any other person would've totally kicked your butt!"Azure smiled. "You're so nice to me..."Ceres muttered,sarcasm in her voice. "Well as long as you keep your paws to yourself,bunny,this tiger won't have to take out its claws!"Azure said. "Just because it's against you doesn't mean I'll be holding back!"Ceres hissed. Azure smiled. He then turned to Yato. "Yato you're going first right?! Good luck Yato! You better make up a good show! Cause we will be watching."Azure smiled. "That's right. He is going first. Good luck,Yato!"Ceres smiled. Azure could hear the cheer and talk of the crowd outside in the arena. "Oh this is making me excited!"Azure laughed as he started to run in circles around the group happily,throwing his arms around and not really paying attention. "Azure be careful!"Ceres warned. Right on cue Azure tripped. "...F*CK." He was still bigger than Ceres,so as he tripped,he fell over Ceres,who yelped as she fell back,Azure falling over her unexpectedly. There was a group of groans from the floor,the two idiots facing on the floor. "Ah...Azure you idiot!"Ceres complained. "I'm sorry I tripped!"Azure answered. He tried to get up and noticed where his hands where,pushing up the kimono. "Uh...I'm afraid to stand up." "Get the hell up or else I'm going to skin you alive!!!!"Ceres yelled. Azure noticed something else. "AH WE TRIPPED ON SOMEONE ELSE!"Azure screamed as he pointed behind Ceres,his hand and arm shaking. Ceres stared and slowly turned around and looked down,only to see she was sitting on a young man's back,who already had his chin resting against his hand as he bent his arm,his other hand tapping the floor beneath him. Smiling warily. "Oh don't worry,I can wait."He said. Only to have Ceres screech of emberassment. The two quickly stood back up,helping the guy up. "Azure say you're sorry."Ceres gritted her teeth as she pulled down on Azure's ear. "Wha I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"Azure complained. The young man smiled and raised his arms. Because of this he was constantly abused and bullied by the Halloween Town folk. After a lifetime of bullying and actually forced to stay out of the Halloween parade because he wasn't scary enough for it,it was too much for the gentle hearted boy. He committed suicide on a 15th of August by jumping off head first from the curly hill. He broke his neck and died instantly. However he was given a second chance,giving the power to view memories belonging of those he touched. Ever since given this and gaining this ability,he has gone on a spree of torture and fun,using his gentle appearance to attract suitors...no,Victims. His crimes have been spotted and scattered around the worlds but he has yet to be caught,or even suspected of them.

Ren sat down in the participants section of the audience with his feet up, feeling no rush to go anywhere since his match wasn't until the third round. "So, Yato's going first, Azure and Ceres will be in the second round and then there's me in the third... Looks like I'll be fighting Yato in the finals." "Oh really? Sounds like we've got some interesting competition this time around." Ren's eyes narrowed as he felt a pair of legs land on his head from the seat behind him. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Ren retorted, pushing the legs off his head and spinning to confront a man with spiky black hair. "The one and only king of the universe, and you my good servant are blocking the view for the first match." "Don't give me that crap!! King of the universe?! You'd have to actually be strong for that!" "Well luckily I'll be able to show you just how strong I am later." The man then took out a piece of parchment, showing it to Ren. "You're Ren Kairu, participating in the third round of the tournament, right? My name is Itsuki Minami, but everyone calls me Ikki. I'm your opponent. And when I say opponent, I actually mean I'll be the one who's going to kick your ass." Ren smirked at Ikki's over confidence. "Well, sounds like we have a cocky one. I'll judge you on your strength in our fight." "Judge me? Please, with my god like awesomeness, it'll be me who will be doing the judging." Suddenly the audience began to liven up as the rising of gates could be heard. "We'll settle this later. For now, just shut up and watch. A "friend" of mine will be competing and I want to see how he'll do up against a real god." "Really? Then this is something that I gotta see!"

 

Soon enough, both Yato and Hercules both made their way out onto the stadium. "(A fight against a god... And against Hercules who has super strength as well. This won't be easy.)" Yato held out his hand, his sword appearing as he swung it to his side, ready to begin. Hercules himself looked serious, but with an expression of excitement. It was then, when the crowd fell silent for a few seconds, the match had begun. Immediately, Yato raced towards Hercules with his sword, hoping to catch him using his speed rather than strength. However, Hercules had covered himself in a golden like aura, capable of deflecting any Yato's attacks. Yato swung his blade at Hercules, only for the blade to bounce back and leave him open for attack. "Damn..." It was then that Hercules had landed a punch directly on Yato's chest, winding him greatly as he flew through the air until his body hit a wall. Yato fell down from the wall and onto his knees within a few seconds, finding himself struggling to breathe. With a glance, Yato noticed Hercules coming in for another attack, which he decided to jump out of the way of this time. Sliding to halt on Hercules' right side, Yato swung his blade through the air, launching what looked like a wave of light energy. Hercules guarded with his arms in a cross formation, his golden aura now dissipating from the last attack. Now it was Yato's turn to go on the offensive. Yato slashed at Hercules from the right to the left, pushing him back until Hercules clapped both of his hands together, catching Yato's sword as he performed a vertical slice. Hercules then gripped the sword and lifted it, as well as Yato, into the air, slamming them both into the ground. Yato coughed loudly, his body aching from the beating he was receiving. The crowd however were cheering their hearts out for their Champion. "(Well... It sounds like the crowd is happy with this result... Wait! If I win... Everyone will recognise my strength as a god! I can get together thousands of followers if I can just beat Hercules!)" Yato was then picked up by his collar and thrown skywards, travelling hundreds of feat into the sky. "I will become a popular god with over a billion followers! Just you wait and see!" Yato then spun around as he reached the peak of the throw, now plummeting back to the stadium. "Thou who desecrates this land of the rising sun! With my advent, I, the Yato God..." Yato ran his finger along his blade, the blade shining as if it were empowered by pure light. "Lay waste with the Sekki... And expel thy vast defilement!" Yato's expression was one of pure excitement, smirking at Hercules' surprised face. "REND!!" Yato swiped his blade at the unsuspecting god, a large dust cloud blocking the vision of everyone in the stands, pushing sand and dust into their eyes. After about a minute, the dust began to clear and both competitors could be seen still standing on their feet. The audience stared in shock as, unaware as to what had just happened. It was then that it was decided. Yato's body fell forwards, but before he reached the floor, he stabbed the ground in front of him to keep himself on his feet, breathing heavily as sweat ran down his face like he'd been out in the rain for half an hour. A couple of seconds later, the champ had hit the dirt, falling completely unconscious. The fans cheered their hearts out for the underdog of the match, beating the odds that stood before him. "(Today... I beat a god... and gained some loyal followers... I think...)" Yato was escorted out of the arena as Hercules was carried out to the waiting room, preparing the arena for the next match.

The three dorks,aka Ceres,Azure and Romeo,stared in awe as they watched Hercules being carried out. "Holy crap he beat a god!"Romeo muttered. "He IS a god!"Azure laughed smiling. "I don't ever want to fight him!"Ceres said with a shiver going down her spine. Yato was beyond amazing in fighting capabilities. He was strong,quick and proved to be one hell of an opponent even for a veteran such as Hercules. "I don't think I want to face him either after seeing that."Romeo muttered as a bead of sweat went down his forehead. The crowed cheered as Phil walked in. "Blue haired kid,kimono girl,you're next!"Phil yelled. "Guess we're up."Azure smiled. "I don't want to do this."Ceres muttered. "Come on,it'll be fine."Azure smirked. "I don't mean it for me,I mean it for you."Ceres muttered. Azure jumped back a bit. "Aren't you a pacifist or something?!"Azure asked. "I am,but that little percent in my brain is tired of having Ren treating me like a rag doll whenever I talk to him!"Ceres said. "Now now,you two better get going."Romeo suggested. "That's right. Lets go,Ceres."Azure said and he and Ceres walked off. "Hey,Ceres. You depend solely on magic,spells and magika to fight right?"Azure asks. "That is correct. I can vary my magic to be balanced or simply aim at a specific type of magic and have it at 100%,at that I can only use that specific magic. Conjuring,illusion,destruction,all of the schools of magic I've learned from scratch."Ceres explained. "So how do you think this fight will turn out,if its a classical brain versus brawn?"Azure asked kind of nervous. "We'll have to see if your brawn can defeat my brain."Ceres said. The two walked out to the arena to be met with cheers and yells from the crowed. Azure smiled real big. "I've never had fans before!"Azure said as he waved. Ceres moved to her side of the field. "Neither have I...only one,actually."Ceres smiled. Azure cracked his neck a bit as he took out his claw blades. "Ok then,Ceres,we'll see who wins this,brawn or brain! Which is obviously brawn!"Azure said. Ceres smiled a bit. "Well considering we're in front of a crowd,if I can't beat you I might as well put on a show."Ceres chuckled. Azure thought for a bit. "Hey Ceres,is it true that you girls don't wear anything underneath the kimono?"Azure asked,much to Ceres' dismay who's face blushed red with embarresment. "Y-You don't ask that to a lady!"Ceres said. "But you're not a lady,you're Ceres!"Azure smiled. "Why you-!"Ceres growled. She concentrated as her hands were clapped together. "Destruction Magic Equip,100%!"Ceres yelled. Suddenly her clothing started to glow as it shaped and formed to her body. Within seconds Ceres had transformed into her Destruction Magic Equip,now allowing her to use destruction magic at 100% capacity. If she were to use other magic,she would have to exchange Equips,which could be dangerous if the enemy got them all memorized,allowing them to predict her movements. Azure blushed at the outfit. "Wow~"He said. It seemed like something out of Space Paranoids. Ceres got into her fighting position. "Begin!" The announcer yelled as Azure wasted no time. He rushed straight at Ceres slashing his blades towards her. Ceres backflipped before using fira on both hands,having her boost her forward at Azure at an unexpected speed as she tackled Azure straight on,slamming him against the wall. Azure gasped loudly as he used his clawed blades to push Ceres by the shoulders. "Christ you're actually putting up a fight!"Azure yelled as he headbutted Ceres straight on,having Ceres fall back due to the force. Azure then groaned to himself as he felt a headache coming along. "Ok maybe not as good as I imagined."Azure muttered. Ceres quickly got on her feet using wind magic as she used thundaga and slammed thunder down into the ground. The lightning spread across the earth as Azure jumped and started running on the walls of the arena,avoiding the lightning. He then jumped as he attacked directly at the flying Ceres. Ceres quickly used the wind powers at full throttle as she created a twister at Azure,having him spin within it. "Ah I'm going to puuuuke!!!"Azure yelled.

 

Romeo walked over to Yato gently as he offered him a bottle of water. "Y-You're Yato right? Your fight out there...it was amazing. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. I got goosebumps!"Romeo smiled. "I think I should pray to you more often."Romeo laughed as he lightly passed his hand on Yato's shoulder,suddenly resting his hand on his shoulder completely. His eyes kicked into work. "But hey,can I ask a question,Yato,God of Calamity."Romeo said as he looked at Yato,his eyes glowing red due to the eyes powers. "How does it feel to kill hundreds of mortal men,and live with such guilt? Do you think anyone would like you if they knew you were the cause of such calamity?"Romeo asked smiling.

 

Azure spun the opposite side of where the wind was going,giving a reverse effect that sent him flying right at Ceres. The blade's claws dug right into her arms,drawing blood and skin as Ceres yelled in pain. Azure slightly smirked as he pulled the blades away,ripping part of skin as blood splattered to the ground below them. Ceres suddenly grabbed Azure by the neck and gripped him as tight as she could. "You can't choke me!"Azure laughed,but before he could finish his laughter,Ceres' hands started to spark as suddenly Ceres used a full voltage lightning attack. Azure screamed at the top of his lungs as the electricity spread across his body and up and down his bones. Every artery and every cell in his body felt like it was being stabbed by hundreds of knives over and over. Suddenly just as it had begun the lightning ended,only to be replaced by a fire spell,a giant fireball emerging from Ceres' mouth as it hit Azure head on,sending him flying back and crashing against the floor. A smoke of dust covered the area as Ceres got a bit closer. Suddenly Azure emerged from the smoke and tackled right at Ceres,spinning at the very last second as he kicked Ceres right on the face. Ceres fell down,her bloody arms creating a bloody trail as she skidded on the floor to a stop. She groaned and held her face as she spat out some blood. She looked down at her hands. "Crap."Ceres cursed as her time had ran out. Her clothing returned to her normal kimono as she held her bleeding arms. She only had certain amount of time,and had to wait for the magika to recharge for that specific form. Azure walked over to her,standing above her. "I didn't knew you could fight like that! You know I really like that! You should fight like that more often!"Azure smiled wildly as he started to laugh out of excitement. Ceres raised her hands,about to transform again as Azure raised his blades and was about to bring them down when suddenly-GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE. Azure stopped on his tracks as he seemed to go pale. Ceres blinked a few times. "...Hey Ceres...you don't happen to have snacks on that kimono do you?"Azure asked as his knees started to shake. "I just realized...I haven't eaten anything in three days~"Azure muttered,his throat sounding dry. Just like that Azure fainted back. "It seems...the mage wins!" Ceres stared for a few moments. "...WHAT?!"Ceres yelled,outraged as she grabbed Azure and started to shake him like crazy. "Azure you idiot you were suppouse to win so you could end up facing Yato have you any idea what a guy like Yato or Ren could do to me I could be torn into pieces wake the hell up!!!"Ceres yelled as she shook Azure around,who could only mutter names of some of his favorite food over and over.

Ren watched as the two fights came to an end, getting to his feet and heading towards to the entrance of the arena for his own match. "So~ Looks like it's finally my turn. After watching those last two fights, I'm pumped for this!" Ren looked back at Ikki with an almost hateful glare. "(He's even more annoying than Yato and he expects me to take him seriously?! He's going to lose this fight as soon as it begins!!)" Both Ren and Ikki entered the arena, ready for the match to begin. The blonde summoned his Keyblade, maintaining his arrogant and displeased expression, while on the other hand, the black haired optimist began stretching his legs. It was then that Ren noticed Ikki's foot wear, a pair of what he made out to be Roller Blades. "(Is he an idiot?! Unless his balance is incredible, he'll just be an easy target!)" After finishing his stretches, Ikki smirked, punching his left hand with his right. "Watch out my servant, your great King will be coming at you with all of his strength!" A second later, Phil called for the third match to begin, the two competitors instantly dashing towards each other. As Ren drew closer to the centre of the arena, he noticed two things. One, Ikki was at least three times faster than him. Two, he was already being punched in the face. "(How did he get to me so quickly?!)" Ren skidded back, dodging another fist and going for a slash with his Keyblade. Ikki however had the gift of being able to move much faster than Ren, easily managing to dodge Ren's attack. Ren grew more and more frustrated with the situation. "(Okay... Looks like I'll have to use my eyes.)" Ren's eyes glowed bright red, Ikki taking immediate notice before moving in with his wild punches. This time, it was Ren doing the dodging, having the ability to delay Ikki's actions by three seconds and capable of dodging them with ease. "(Is he moving faster? No...)" Ikki looked out to the audience, as they also seemed to be moving differently from his perspective. "(He's not moving faster, I'm moving slower. I'd better retreat.)" Ikki had decided that it was the right time to make a temporary retreat, but felt that his body wouldn't obey him for a brief few seconds. When Ikki left Ren's range, he felt as if the entire area had shifted. Ren gritted his teeth, noticing Ikki's reaction. "(Did he notice it? Yeah... Probably... Damn this small radius.)" Ikki smirked at Ren, slowly getting an idea of his eye power. "(It seems that with those eyes, he can delay my actions for a certain amount of time. From the feeling I got, the ability only work within a certain radius as well. If I can figure out the radius and the amount of time my actions are delayed for, I can win.)" Ren's eyes narrowed more, becoming truly frustrated with Ikki. "(That bastard... Don't underestimate me you piece of human trash!)" Ren's eyes then changed from Crimson to Amber, darkness flowing out of his shadow and flowing around him like thorns. Ikki's eyes narrowed on the darkness, becoming more serious than before. "(This guy can handle this kind of darkness without becoming a Heartless? Impressive, but it's best to try and beat him before he looses control.)" Ikki held his hands out to his sides, waiting in anticipation of Ren. The blonde swung his Keyblade with an angry yell, dark thorns coming up from underneath the blade. Ikki jumped above the blade, however, dark thorns had come up from behind Ren's back in order to attack Ikki. Within that moment, Ikki swiflty moved his hands, tracing his fingers against the air as if he were touching a wall. Then, Ikki was pushed away from Ren's attack by what looked like some invisible force. "(WHAT THE HELL?!! I had him!! But somehow he managed to escape, even when there was nothing there!)" Ikki landed on the other side of the arena, sighing a little out of breath. "Man, you're one stubborn little sh!t, aren't you?" "Who the hell are you calling little?!" Ikki stood up straight, as a gust of wind blew past him and Ren, engulfing both of them as well as the crowd. "(What's up with the wind all of a sudden, it came out of nowhere... Wait... Don't tell me that this is his doing?!!)" Ikki smirked as he traced his palm against the air itself, pushing against it as if it were a physical object. "You can control the wind...?" "So close my young disciple, so close." Ren's teeth began to grind themselves together in irritation. "I guess you could say that I can influence the wind around me, but to say that I control is going way too far. I also can't conjure my own wind." "(That cocky little... Even if he tells me all of this, I still can't stop him! And he knows this! Making him look even more superior to me!)" "Alright Ren Kairu, this is where this fight starts getting interesting!"

 

Yato stared at Romeo, unable to believe that he knew of his past. "What the...? How do you know? Who are you?" Yato was about to get up, but his body racked with pain and he immediately led back down. "God of Calamity... A title I wish that people would forget about... I'm not that kind of god any more. But... if people were to find out about me and my past, then I wouldn't blame them if they didn't trust me any more..." Yato's eyes flickered, his conciousness beginning to slip. "No matter... Soon I'll have... Millions of followers, and none of them... Need to know of my past... None... Of them..." Yato's eyes then closed as he fell asleep.

Romeo smirked as he watched Yato fall asleep. "Well see about that,my lord Yato."He hissed. Azure was dragged into where they were as Yato was groaning,his stomach grumbling. "Oh wow didn't see that one coming."Romeo smiled,putting up his facade again. He walked over to Azure as Ceres had transformed into her Defensive Magic Equip and started to heal her wounds and Azure's. "That idiot,he lost because he was hungry. Can you believe that BS?!"Ceres asked as she checked her phone for Blaze,and then got it away. "I can't,haha!"Romeo chuckled as he got his hands in his backpack and took out some candy bars. "Here,you need them more than I do."Romeo said as he offered them to Azure,who quickly took them in his arms and started to eat them at a rapid pace. "Thank you!"Azure managed to say with his mouth full. Ceres sighed as Romeo got a hand on her shoulder. "Eh,don't worry about it too much."Romeo assured as his eyes gleamed red for a few moments. "Where's Yato? I need to heal that idiot too."Ceres said as she walked over to sleeping Yato and started to heal his wounds while he slept. Romeo glanced down at Azure and stroke his cheek,eyes glowing red while at it. Ceres smiled a bit. "But Yato wasn't as dumb. Yato's actually a pretty smart guy."Ceres smiled. "Yeah,for a killer."Romeo said. Ceres glanced over. "He's not a killer,Hercules is alive."Ceres said. "Not Herc. Did you know why he didn't want to say his real tittle? Because he's the God of Calamity. And you know what Calamity is right? Murder,pain,suffering. That man has killed more people than those that died with you on that August day."Romeo said. "It can't be! Yato's kind! He'd never...how do you know about what happened to me in August...?"Ceres asked muttering. "Don't worry about that,did you know that Azure here once ate a whole giant bag of gummi bears in under 5 minutes?"Romeo said as he pet the sleeping Azure. "You didn't answer my question!"Ceres demanded. "Oh shut up you. You're one to talk about innocence and kind and good,and how much that Zero guy loves you and you love him back."Romeo said as he walked up to Ceres. "But it wasn't voluntary now was it?" Ceres' eyes widen as she felt her knees tremble and weaken so badly she fell on her knees. Romeo smiled. "Wouldn't that kid make fun of you more if he were to find out?"Romeo said as he walked away. "Oh look,that friend is actually fighting someone else right now. I think I'll go see."Romeo said as he smiled brightly and walked away,sitting on one of the stands to watch the fight. Ceres remained where she had fallen on her knees,not moving a single inch as the words that Romeo had said to her stroke a fear she had never felt before. She just sat there resting against the bedside,trying to make herself as small as possible as bad memories resurfaced. "Go away..."
