Ok So last night me and my dad opened up my tv because a gnat got under the screen. Everything was fine except when I turned it on there was a vertical solid grey line going across the screen. We unplugged some stuff in the tv and put everything back where it was when getting the bug out, but this problem won't go away. Can someone help please.

Have you tried praying, oh non-believer? :P

In all seriousness you should check the input cables for any accidental damage or if they're not plugged in properly. Otherwise I'd recommend opening it and dusting the insides or checking anything you accidentally touched. If neither of those work it's probably screen damage, you might need to contact the maker.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Xeeve. Only thing to note is that you do want to make sure not to open your TV up again without researching issues with your TV model and methods to remove something in there without disassembly. Taking apart a TV can damage it very harshly.

Done that, I guess my only option at this point is paying $60 for a repairman diagnosis ;_;

I'm sorry, somebody has to say it

Have you tried turning it off and then back on?
