KH3D Sora did have a reason for acting very naive and idiotic in 3D.

That was beautiful *_*

You help this fandom come to realise that just because a bad thing happens to a character, or they make a mistake, does not mean that's all there is to them

yeah but didn't sora maintain his memories from his adventures

Not true, when Sora meets his old friends in disney worlds again it's quite obvious they remember each other from the dialogue

I agree with you.

But when you said Sora was the strongest keyblade wielder, replace it with Riku, and your theory would right!

Wrong. If Riku was the strongest Kryblade wielder, he would not have lost to Roxas at Memory's skyscraper. Riku had to give into darkness to win - if he was the best, he wouldn't have.

Fast forward. Same place. Roxas takes Sora and they duel. Roxas has a greater mastery of light, but ultimately loses. Why? Sora had greater master of the Keyblade. In KH2FM he even steals Roxas' blades.

Riku excelled at his test. But Sora beat Riku multiple times. Even when outpowered, he still won.

Sorry. Riku is an amazing wielder. But Sora would have been a master, had Xehanort not rigged the test and caught them unaware.

You just ruined my day.

Oh well, I can still live as someone else being the strongest.

Do we really need an essay sized theory to justify the traits of a character?

In most games they give characters personalities like this to ease giving the player expositions.in FFX Tidus can't stop asking questions for the life of him even for things you know about before him.Sure there will be times when you call him an idiot but it won't be that long before you warm up for the guy

So having Sora being a naive optimistic kid actually helps the plot to give expositions with a better world immersion rather than just throw you to the dark with no knowledge about where you are unless you read a datalog entry(F*** you Final Fantasy XIII)

And secondly:I'd rather have a naive character over emo brooting ones that bitch about everything or just whine about how dark and mysterious heshe is

Where does it say that Dream Drop Distance took place a few months after Kingdom Hearts 2 and Recoded? Dream Drop Distance took place shortly after Kingdom Hearts 2 and after Recoded. Also Sora knew that Master Xehanort was returning. Just before Sora and Riku were about to take the exam Yen Sid just told Sora and Riku that Master Xehanort will return and he will trouble them again and they must be ready and Yen Sid give Sora and Riku a mission to save seven worlds from their sleep. Sora and Riku didn't take the exam just re learn how to use the keyblade the proper, they took the exam because they were giving a mission to seven worlds from their endless sleep. Sora should of been more aware because he knew that he was on a mission to save the worlds from their sleep and preparing for Master Xehanort's threat. Sora should of taking his exam more seriously because one the man who cause so much pain and suffering will return more powerful than ever, two, you have to save innocent people's dreams from nightmare dream eaters, and three when an old wise sorcerer said you must be ready, you must ready because Yen Sid can sense the change of wind.

Well still, just because Xehanort was on the road to returning, doesn't mean they should think he would directly interfere with them. I mean, Yen Sid and Mickey of all people didn't see this coming until it was too late. If they didn't see it, how could Sora? :

I was thinking Yen Sid could have wait in the world that never was just in case.

Or at least Mickey, Donald and Goofy. Nomura wanted just have some action.

In my upcoming fanfic of Sora Meets Big Hero 6 (which is ten years after KH III so Sora is 26), Sora is more mature because he, the duck and the dog like to explore worlds for exploitation and teaching the citizens of other words the history of the Keyblade and they still help people with their problems the less humorous way.
