Sports WWE Superstar Alex Riley (A-Ry) : Wasted talent or not ?

Recommended Posts

To begin with , not having posted a topic in this forum for a long time , I might have violated some rules . I am sorry .

This topic is only adressed to the WWE fans of the site . Please don't post things like : "What is WWE ? " or "Who is Alex Riley ? "

I "posed a question" that a lot of fans of the WWE Universe can immediately answer : Alex Riley is not a wasted talent . Now , before I say something else , I'm gonna run through Alex Riley's career in WWE until now . He started off in NXT at 2010-2011 alongside his mentor The Miz . He moved up , won a couple of matches and eventually "debuted" on the Raw show by helping his mentor get out of trouble .In the next weeks , A-Ry helped the Miz in most of his matches while taking his place in some of them . WWE started to push the break-up of those two , as they put Riley into the Smackdown show , making it difficult for him to be in the Championship Matches the Miz got into in Pay-Per-Views like Extreme Rules when the Miz lost his champinoship and Over The Limit with the "I quit" match against John Cena in which he also failed to get his championship back . The Miz blamed Alex for losing these significant matches . This was probably the most important moment of Riley's career when he turned face and attacked the Miz . After this event , the feud between those two continued for a small amount of time with some important milestones like when A-Ry defeated the Miz in the Capitol Punishment PPV . After that , the lame WWE Creative Production Team put an end to the feud and then stopped A-Ry's push , putting him in some losing streaks .

When A-Ry turned face , you could hear the WWE Universe going wild when he appeared in the arena . This stopped after the end of his push . WWE wanted Alex as a commentator and after two years , he became an "Analyst" . Are you kidding me ? I honestly don't think this was "best for business " . And I know that if , let's say , WWE Creative decided to put Riley back on , he wouldn't get a big response from the Universe . You know why ? Because they let him have such a long break from wrestling and they got him to job against the likes of Brodus Clay . WWE could have pushed Alex to "big things" . He showed great potential in the ring back in 2012 . I have to admit , however , that at the end of his push , he still got some championship shots . But that was it . He could have been a Top-Tier guy like Sheamus or Christian .

My personal opinion : Alex Riley , the man in my current profile picture, is a wasted talent . He's been put in the Raw Pre-Shows and the NXT Commentators Team . And this is the lame part about the whole thing .

What do you guys think ? Should WWE "bring back" Alex Riley to the ring ? Or should he just stay where he is right now ?
