Although I'm now curious how "The Great Attractor" came to be. Either it started out as a random event of massive cluster of galaxies and their combined gravitational forces are now starting to attract other galaxies [ours included], or it started out as an immensely super-dense black hole that kickstarted the events that are now attracting our galaxy to the vague 'center' of it.

The Universe is the greatest creation. So don't take too lightly on that magnificent knowledge that you found...

It could be a wormhole, which would support the whole 'Universe is infinite' since that hole has to lead to somewhere.
