Today's episode... That was sooo amazing!

 

 

Lets face the facts people compared to allot of other Animes when it comes to intense fighting episodes Naruto sucks like todays episode the fight scenes were so badly done and did anyone else notice Madara's eyes were in the Rinnegan state a few times before he even activated it

 

 

Dude, that fight scene was amazing. It was one sided to show how powerful Madara is. I really enjoyed it. How was it badly done?

I'm guessing you didn't read the manga... Yeah, it was awesome. The anime did it a lot better than the manga in my opinion.

I DID read the manga! IT WAS AMAZING. The anime did it so well and capitalized on things that the manga didn't even touch.

 

That episode felt kinda like a movie.

It was awesome, but it saddens me that they won't keep that quality of animation for every episode.

its just some of the scenes i found to be badly animated between the 5th and 6th minute there was allot of hand to hand combat and i just found allot of that to be poorly animated maybe its just cause im use to other animes that have been doing hand to hand combat scenes extremely well that i noticed this but besides points like this it was truly a brilliant episode

Difference in opinion I guess. And errors like that happen in pretty much every anime. It's extremely common. It's not that big of a deal lol.

I gotta say, the animation of that episode's almost like the Pain VS Kyubii's animation.

 

Still it's a bit more inferior than the normal good quality animation

Alright, I had a random idea to try something new: Post my opinions on a character. Well, having read the most recent Naruto manga volume (Volume 61), I've remembered an old favorite character of mine. If it wasn't obvious yet, it's Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke's older brother. Some might consider some of what I include as spoilers, so read at your own risk. I'll put what I consider a spoiler in spoiler tags, so no need to worry for anything major.

 

My first time seeing Itachi was in Clash of Ninja: Revolution for the Wii. That game's pretty much what made me the Naruto fan I am today, and I have a lot of fond memories of it. Well, when I got to know Itachi, he became one of my favorite villains. He wasn't the main villain, but the mysterious, powerful guy to the side. His slaughter of the Uchiha clan was a great motivator for his younger brother, Sasuke, to become stronger. And as I said before, Itachi's an incredibly powerful villain. Heck, he's probably one of the most powerful characters in the series. I'm sure that most of us remember the first time he used Tsukuyomi, that sense of fear at seeing the true potential of the Uchiha clan. Add in the Amaterasu and the Susano'o, and Itachi has one of the greatest jutsu arsenals in the shinobi world. Let's not forget the Mangekyou Sharingan, either.

 

Like I said above, Itachi became one of my favorite villains early on. However, there was one event which raised him to my permanent "Favorite villain ever" spot. This moment is what I consider his greatest fight, one of the most pivotal battles in the plot, and my personal favorite battle in the series (Here's where the spoiler tags come in):

 

 

Itachi vs Sasuke in Part 2, or Shippuden. The whole series had been building up to this very fight, and witnessing Sasuke's battle for vengeance was a spectacular experience. Comparing this battle to the clash the two had in Part 1 really showed how far Sasuke had come since then. The battle was amazing, but even better than that, as well as being the reason for Itachi being one of my favorite characters of all time, was what happened after.

 

At the end of the battle, Itachi walked towards Sasuke, claiming he'd take Sasuke's eyes. Itachi began reaching for Sasuke's face, and did something that surprised everyone that was reading or watching: Itachi poked his brother in the forehead, smiled, and told him, "Sorry Sasuke. There won't be a next time.", in reference to telling Sasuke to wait until next time to train him when the two were younger. After uttering his final words, Itachi dropped dead, and Sasuke eventually found himself in a room with Tobi. Here, Tobi told Sasuke of the truth behind the Uchiha Clan Massacre.

 

Sasuke's clan had been planning to overthrow the village, and the elders forced Itachi to kill them. We learned that Itachi wasn't the real villain. He was forced to do what he did. However, the next bit was even more surprising. The reason he left Sasuke wasn't because he found Sasuke to be a worthless child. He begged the Hokage to protect Sasuke. Itachi cared for his younger brother more than anyone else in his clan, even more than the village he lived in. He loved Sasuke. He played the villain role in order to make Sasuke hate him, so that Sasuke would kill him later in vengeance. It was Itachi's way of showing his brother love, and to atone for killing his clan. Itachi wasn't really a villain. He was really one of the greatest heroes Konoha had ever seen, yet it was all kept secret. This moment was definitely the most emotional scene in Naruto, at least in my opinion. It was a huge shock. Ever since then, Itachi has been one of my favorite characters.

 

 

Well, that's what I think about Itachi. I'd go more into detail, but I want to avoid going into anything new in the series.

Up to Chapter 11 in part 1. So far im liking how much of a faster pace it is then the anime. Seriously. Im at the part where Team 7 start to escort Tazuna to his village, after they take down the ninja who were disguised as puddles. Im loving it so far. But ive already seen all of this in the Anime up to the Chunin exams. After that, i got no idea what happens next, and i plan to keep it that way.

Ok then. I looked ahead quickly to see how long Part 1 lasts, apparently part 1 has only 238 chapters. The other 400 chapters is all Shippuden. O_O Shippuden makes up most of the Naruto manga apparently.

Yeah, Shippuden's a LOT longer. Part 1 only has around 5 story arcs to it, Part 2 has twice as many. I like Shippuden more myself, so I don't mind it.

Chapter 641 time (Wow, I'm the first to post about it. ._.) Also, Emergence of Talent from Shippuden's OST fit today's chapter perfectly, if you all listen to music while reading the chapters (Or maybe I'm the only guy on here that does that...)

 

 

Well, looks like someone said that Shikamaru could be a good Hokage again... This is the second time now, it really makes me wonder if it's foreshadowing. ._. Also, looks like they've landed a major blow on Obito finally. Naruto and Sasuke were both smiling... I can't wait to see what that attack did in the next chapter!

Well I still posted first. I'd say my favorite part was Naruto and Sasuke's combined move, and getting that to hit Obito. Shikamaru and Temari, too. They mention Shikamaru having the qualifications of Hokage a lot... Anyway, I can't wait until next week's chapter!
