Hey everyone! I'm back with another theory. This one is in two parts, but are connected to each other. Warning: Here be spoilers!
So, lets do this in order. Yen Sid. I have a theory I haven't seen anyone else make. What if Yen Sid is in fact the Grand Master of the Foretellers that disappeared all those centuries ago. When you think about it, it does make some sense. Lets look at the facts. Though it is not well known, it can be assumed that The Grand Master either read the Tome of Prophecy himself, or had one of his own. If the Tome can really predict the future, then the Grand Master might have seen fit to travel into the future to either stop the un-known threat, or influence those living in the future to change the fate themselves. What makes me think Yen Sid is the Grand Master? Well, for one, We don't truly know who he is, or where he comes from. We know that Yen is, or once was a very powerful Keyblade Master. And, we have yet to see what his Keyblade looks like..........Hmmm. Also, Yen seems to know a great deal about Keyblades, the Keyblade War, and seems to guess correctly a lot of Master Xehanort's plans. Which segues into my next theory. So, Master X. has an old Keyblade? That raises new questions about keyblades in general. So there is already a theory about Master X. being either the rejected 6th Foreteller himself, or a descendant of the 6th Foreteller. I think the latter might be more true. Its because of what Xigbar and Young Master X. said. One, the Keyblade he has is already old, and two, they speak of it as a "will" that is passed on. This can mean two things, and, knowing Nomura, it could be both. The first thing; Keyblades can be willed to whomever the Master chooses to give his or her Keyblade to. So that means that Keyblades can be passed down like an heirloom. If that is the case, then Master X. might be a descendant of the 6th Foreteller. Second thing; the term "will" could be literal in that once a Keyblade wielder or Master has died, their soul or spirit becomes a part of their own Keyblade. If that is the case, then the Keyblade can actually choose who can wield it. If the 6th Foreteller's spirit is in his Keyblade, then he can choose who wields it-namely, people of great evil and power-like Master X. This would also explain Xigar's comment about Master X.'s Keyblade being connected to the Keyblade War.
Well, that's all I got guys. What do you all think?
