KHRecoded Can We Really Say It's Not That Important? (No spoilers, please)

Now a lot of people seem to think that the only important thing in Coded/Re:Coded was the last scene, the one with Mickey and Data Sora taking to Data Namine. But can we be sure of that? What if Nomura decides to make the Datascape imperative to the plot of KH III? What if he decides the Data beings can somehow find a way into the physical worlds? It already seems that Malificent thinks she can get to Kingdom Hearts through the Datascape, what if Nomura has Xehanort get a similar idea?

 

All I'm saying is, with the limited info we have on KH III right now, we don't really know how important Re:Coded will or will not end up being.

 

Also, I haven't watch the cut scenes yet, no spoilers unless they're in tags okay? I want to be surprised. I'm not mini-modding, just making a personal request.

Re:Coded is starting to look VERY important honestly

The datascape apparently works in the same way that the Book of Prophecy does, and data is a vital part of the KH story ever since KH2

 

I'm starting to think data can affect the real world, that would definitely give a better explanation for why Hayner Pence and Olette feel close with Sora for no reason (Roxas had non significant connections with the REAL ones)

 

Also elements of data gaining their own hearts, data being able to create a real keyblade

There's data hidden in Sora's heart from Ansem

 

Maleficent wants the datascape, and it seems to relate to the book of prophecy

 

Memories can carry over even with something like data

Maybe in Kingdom Hearts III the heroes will have to fight Maleficent and the Disney villains inside the Data Worlds while simultaneously fighting the True Organization XIII in the real worlds

Nah the only important thing about Re:coded is the ending and the new cutscene featuring Maleficent and Pete. There's no point of buying the game when old and new gamers can just watch it on 2.5 HD Remix.
