This here is the RP thread for Once Upon a Fantasy, inspired by Once Upon A Time, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts.  The sign-ups are still open, so if you’d like to join please read the rules and sign-up here: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/86632-once-upon-a-fantasy-sign-ups-and-ooc-discussion/

If you’re late to the party no worries; I’ll offer refreshers to anyone new and will also create an opening for those who enter late.

Now then, a few notes to the players before the games begin:

At the start of your post please put a header indicating your character’s FF/KH self.  For instance:

~*~Yuna~*~

The wind tousled Cynthia’s fine-brown locks as she strode down the sidewalk, humming a light tune to herself as she window-shopped.  This was one of her favorite pasttimes, mostly because it reminded her of . . . .

So, basically, insert your character’s original name while using their Destiny Beach name in the body of your post.  This way everyone will be able to memorize who is who and spare a bit of confusion and referencing to the character chart below.

Another note would be to please ensure you read every post before posting, especially posts made by me because I will be directing the plot as well as including your characters in events.

Now then, here is our cast for your reference:

And now, let’s . . . GO!

It is another late afternoon on Destiny Beach.  The sun is high in the sky, its rays falling heavily on the seaside town in Florida.  The weather is warm as it normally is in May, yet not too hot making days on the beach picture perfect.  You go about your daily routine as per usual, in a life which, for all the world, seems that you’ve always lived.  You’ve forgotten who you really are, and where you’re really from.  You’ve forgotten that magic, a mere legend and myth in this world, was real where you came from.  You don’t remember that you fought the people who are now your neighbors and teachers.  And, worse yet, you don’t realize that evil and danger is right in front of your very nose, ready to strike and rip all normalcy and happiness that exists in your lives.

Of course you don’t realize.  That is what the curse has done to you.  And, unless the curse is broken, you’ll never know . . . until it is too late.

You have access to everything on Destiny Beach.  There is a shopping mall, a Wal-Mart and Target, a Starbucks Coffee, and one inn run by two young women.   The FBI office exists alongside a police station, and there are also a number of restaurants in like.  There is one apartment complex called Beach and Sunset Apartments where many residents reside, as well as many homes scattered along Destiny Beach.  Cars are present, of course, but in this small town no one has much use for them.  There is one school and one small community college.  Along the beach there are many places to surf, swim, sunbathe, and buy hot dogs.

Yes, you may visit anything on the beach, but there is a catch: no one that leaves Destiny Beach ever, ever comes back.  It is not advised that you leave, for your fate is ill if you so choose this path.

For students, including Lukas, Flint, and Aeria, another day at school has just ended, and it is a Thursday.  Only one more day until the weekend.  Inside the school, Aron and Kievan are now freed up from their teaching duties, having completed their final bit of organization before calling it a day.

There is a meeting for the members of the orphan charity, an organization called Hearts 4 Lives, at Rachel’s apartment in an hour.  There she is getting ready for any or all of those who wish to attend the meeting.

Some jobs are ending while others are starting.  You are in any of the locations listed above.  What you choose to do is entirely your choice, yet the outcome, if left as-is, will remain the same.

"Amber!" Tina called up the stairs as she grabbed her purse. She double checked the time on her watch. Still plenty of time. Loud footsteps clattered down the stairs. Amber reached the ground floor and looked to Tina.

"What's up? I was just cleaning the rooms." Amber said with a smile plain on her face.

"I need you to work the front desk for a bit. I'm heading to the charity meeting." Tina explained, pulling her car keys out of her bag and beginning to head towards the front door.

"No problem Tina! It'll be fine!" Amber said, giving a mock salute as Tina left. The Innkeeper gave one last slight smile to her employee as she left the hotel.

Terrence whistled a short tune to himself as he sat at his computer in the police station. He wasn't doing much, just finishing off some paperwork that he had to do. He glanced to the clock. It was getting close to time for his evening patrol. Terrence valued patrol time, not because he enjoyed finding and busting trouble, because there wasn't much of that, but it was during that time that he got to interact with the townspeople most often. He'd often run into Kievan or Aron on their way home from school, Amber partying it around town, or Allen practicing his game. Terrence knew everybody in town, and everybody knew him. He liked that fact. And he liked that his job was to protect them, as quiet as the town is.

~Fran~ Nicole wasn't one to show up to a charity event dressed in her work attire, especially when that attire included uncomfortable dress shoes. However, this was a separate case; helping kids is part of what she does, and she has a company to represent. She adjusted her bleach-white ponytail, resting it on her right shoulder. Taking a deep breath, the tall woman knocked on the door that lead to an apartment, belonging to a woman she came to know as Rachel. Rachel and Nicole hadn't met as of yet- they've only glanced at one another, maybe from across the street, or whilst visiting a restaurant. Either way, Nicole had never talked to her before, and this seemed like a rare opportunity to do just that.

Nicole had plans to donate a large sum of money in the name of her company, Social Butterflies. Her division was in charge of General Public, although she seemed to fall towards the jobs that required child services. Of course, an Orphan Charity such as this was something she couldn't avoid. Nicole awaited calmly for Rachel to open the door.

Tiffany was madly scribbling in the local news paper's want ads. She really hoped to avoid the food industry, but she wasn't having much luck else where. Eclair put down Tiffany's refill of Coke on the table, then pulled out a chair and sat down.

"Getting desperate?" The waitress asked.

Tiffany dropped the paper and her pen.

"Yes." She said, rubbing her eyes.

She suddenly reached out and grabbed Eclair's hand.

"You wouldn't have an opening here, for an old friend?"

Eclair chuckled.

"Sorry, Tiff." She answered. "I barely get enough hours as it is."

Tiffany slumped a little and looked dejected, though the look didn't fit her. Plus Eclair knew it wouldn't be long before her friend snapped out of it.

"Maybe you should ask Amber where she got work." The Waitress offered as she stood up.

"Might be worthy shot." Tiffany sighed. "But first, my stupid moped needs seeing to."

Eclair patted Tiffany's arm.

"That should cheer you up."

Sid closed up the last tool rack the FBI goons had looked through, looking for contraband. Sid was rather insulted by this search, as the FBI should know by now he was smart enough not to keep merchandise at his place of business. Still, it had been fun to mess with that young agent, Ace.

With everything back in order, Sid went back to fixing the old pickup that had been brought in yesterday. He was pretty sure it was beyond hope, but then again, he liked a challenge like that.

~*~Vanille~*~

The chipper red-haired young woman had soft classical music playing in the background of her apartment.  It smelt of toasted butter and cinnamon, which represented the cookies that she'd been baking for the past hour.  Rachel just set a pitcher of milk on her coffee table when a knock sounded on her apartment door.  Her green eyes flittered to the clock.  The meeting time for Hearts 4 Souls came much faster than she'd anticipated.  A light sigh escaped her as she glanced toward the kitchen at the dough only half-complete.  It was a shame that her cookies would be unable to be completed before other members of the organization had arrived.

Tentatively, Rachel opened the door to find a a tall blond woman stand before her, dressed in work attire.  Rachel had never seen the woman before, which surprised her since she knew the majority of people within the organization.  "Oh, hello," she said warmly, dusting her hands off on her lacy apron.  "I'm assuming you're a member of Hearts 4 Souls?  I'm Rachel.  Pleased to meet you!  Won't you come in?"  She tore the door open wider, granting access to her apartment.

~*~Locke~*~

The brown-haired teen stood with his elbows propped on the counter behind the register.  His gaze followed a dad and his son, scanning the section of XBox One games and often asking him if he'd played any of them.  Not having an XBox, which Skylar explained from the beginning, his answer was always "no," yet they often asked him anyway and eventually he contemplated just making something up for the sake of saying something different.  He glanced at the clock nervously.  Any moment his coworker would come and fill his shift so he could be out of there.  The meeting time was approaching quickly, and he had to stop by a local restaurant to pay a certain debt to a certain waitress.  Just when he started to lose all hope his replacement came, which he jumped, clocked out, and waved a quick farewell before bounding into his car.

The restaurant wasn't too far away from Rachel's apartment, thankfully.  He'd promised Eclair he'd be there tonight, which he wanted to do lest he get a lecture--or worse.  He sped down the road, thinking of all sorts of excuses to offer Rachel if he were late when finally he arrived and burst through the door.  Inside he found Eclair, standing beside a table with a young blond, looking troubled.

"Coke, please," said Skylar before he even sat down.  "And make it to-go.  I also have that certain something for you, Eclair, that I owed you."  The brunet minded his own business for a time, eyes scanning the walls of its decor when he overheard the blond make mention of "job" and "desperate."  A lopsided grin crossed Skylar's face and, while it was a bit of a crazy long-shot, he couldn't help but turn around and blurt.  "Gamestop's hiring.  We're beyond short-staffed.  I'm sure the team could use a cute girl like yourself."

~*~Kefka~*~

It was a long day, which finally had met its end.  Many thoughts crossed the mind of the blond, but not necessarily thoughts pertaining to grading the papers in front of him.  He wondered whether he could do more research on an interesting bit of machinery he'd stumbled upon not far off the coast, and, better yet, if he could smuggle it into his garage.  He also was thinking about Sid.  The mechanic knew everything and anything about cars, and was it too far-fetched that perhaps he'd know something about the strange robotic device he'd found?  That was something Kievan wondered, yet he wasn't sure about the safety in asking.  He'd hate for it to be reported and turned over to the FBI, because then he'd never get his hands on it again.

While his mind wandered and he absent-mindedly graded papers, his hand froze upon a specific homework assignment.  It was one with Aron's handwriting, for an English assignment specifically.  Kievan scoffed.  Of course, someone got in such a reckless hurry that they dumped Aron's assignment on him.  Figured.  Finishing the final bits of papers, Kievan grasped the English assignment and left his classroom, heading down the hall to find Aron.  It was still rather early, and he partly doubted that Aron had already left for the day.

-Auron-

A long day, too long in fact, Aron had finished organizing his papers and homeworks on his table as he was packing up to leave and go home shortly, taking a quick, as the students quickly left the school, many in a hurry, leaving the school deserted in a manner of minutes, Aron was usually left with a pretty relaxing exit, most of the time, other times he'd meet Kievan and they'd leave together as their homes were pretty close to one another, it was the same way for both of them.

"Done" Aron said with a quiet tone as he finished grading a paper, and noticing one was missing, much to his dismay, "Great..." He muttered as he looked around, only to find nothing, he sighed as he put his organized papers in his bag and left the room, he wanted to get out so he could have a smoke, finding himself in the halls, he quickly met up with Kievan, who looked the same as always, "Hello Kievan" Aron spoke.

~Fran~ Ah! What a refreshing face. Nicole was greeted by the bright eyed woman, who seemed to be in a slight rush. The aroma of pastries overwhelmed her senses, briefly throwing her into a state of hunger. Quickly enough, however, she adjusted herself accordingly. Rachel introduced herself, and welcomed Nicole into her abode. Nicole bowed her head respectfully as she took a step into the room. "My name is Nicole, I represent Social Butterflies, however, becoming a member of Hearts 4 ((Lives/Souls)) would sure brighten my day. It does fall under my category." Nicole took another whiff, enjoying the scent. She closed the door behind her quietly, and greeted the redhead once more. "I know I'm a bit early. Perhaps you would like some help setting up?"

Sophia was in the police station along with Terrance. She had been frantically trying to finish up the rest of the paper work for the day all while trying to get ready for the meeting of Hearts 4 Souls at the same time. It wasn't like her to never be late for anything especially since she always managed her time well. Currently she was fixing up her desk quickly and she still had to finish changing her shoes. She didn't want to arrive at the meeting dressed too formal. She looked up from her work and smiled at her partner.

"H-Hey," she began, picking up some pens she dropped. "Would you mind if join the patrol later? I'm sorry Terrence. This meeting is very important and I just can't miss it."

-Roxas-

Meanwhile the teen was just exiting the school finally after a quick ten minute session of detention. Sadly he bad mouthed a fellow student for acting stupid, and of coarse Lukas got in trouble even though it partially wasn't his fault. He was riding his skateboard around the halls near the exit when he saw Kievan walking. Lukas ducked and hid right behind some lockers.

"Crap... I'm missing like twenty homework assignments from him..." He muttered to himself. If wasn't shocking if that statement wasn't an overexaduration. He flipped out his phone and looked around. He was going to meet Flint after school.

'Hey Flint, r u around school? I just got out.' He considered inviting Aeria as well. Just then he sent a text to her as well.

'Hey A, wanna hang? I just got out of detention and I'm super bored. We could play handball and eat some ice cream.' He really hoped she would reply. He would do just about anything just to see her face.

-Xion-

She packed her things away, making sure her shirt didn't get caught on anything. The long sleeves hid her scars and the deep cuts across her wrists. She sometimes looked at them, silent reminders of how far it had gone. She looked around, then heard her phone. She paused.

-Sorry Lukas...I'm heading out with my mom.-

She then headed for the door...and suddenly broke into a run.

Waiting outside, was Elysia.

-Lightning-

FBI dress code suit as immaculate as always, Elysia Tonnerre oofed as a black-haired comet slammed into her. A face in her chest, she hugged Aeria, kissing the top of her head. "Doing okay?"

"Yes."

Once they were packed away in the Charger, Elysia drove them to the dinner. Stepping in, Elysia was about to wave down Eclair when Aeria heard Locke. She slipped away from her mom and tapped Locke on the shoulder.

"Did you say Gamestop was hiring?" She asked, leaving Elysia to follow behind with some apprehension. Aeria was a headache at times.

-Seven-

Seraphim leaned on Rachel's shoulder.

"More people for the team?" She asked, eating a muffin. The FBI agent had a nasty habit of appearing out of nowhere...mostly sneaking through a window. FroM some scuffs on her shoes to a few spots of dirt on her suit jacket, it seemed that she scaled something recently. "Sorry I'm late, Sid decided to be a jackass."

"One furiously shook coke to go." Eclair teased as she headed for the drinks alcove. "Oh, and leave what ever you owe me on the counter."

Tiffany didn't give Skylar much more then a glance till he blurted out a job opening.

"Really?" She turned in her seat to give the new comer her full attention. "I can't believe I didn't think of checking at GameStop. Can you tell me what kind of hours I could get? How much do I need to know about all the games? I'm more of a PC gamer myself. Do you guys actually fix consoles? Oh, I'm Tiffany, by the way."

Eclair was grinning when she handed Skylar his Coke.

"She would certainly make shifts more interesting at GameStop." She joked.

Eclair paused for a moment as she saw Elysia, but was back to her usual smile again.

"What'll you have?" She asked.

Elysia turned to Eclair.

"Coffee. Cream, four sugars...and some of those pink sweeter sticks. For her-" Elysia ruffled Aeria's hair. "Large chocolate shake. Plenty of whipped cream, and three cherries if you can spare them....eh, what the hell. add two spices of pecan pie."

<Terra>

Tina strode into the apartment, walking into Rachel's residence without too much of a second thought. There were already a few people here, Seraphim and a new woman she had not seen at the group before. Interesting. In any case, Tina was glad to not be here first, she was unsure of how long she would be able to chat with Rachel without becoming exhausted. She nodded towards the others with a soft smile resting upon her lips.

Terrence glanced towards Sophia, smiling. "Yes, of course. I was actually going to ask if you wanted to go." He said agreeably. "Where did you need me to drop you off? Your home or Rachel's apartment?" Terrence of course knew of the meeting going on tonight. Several prominent members of his town were a member of the charity, including his partner, there was no way he'd miss something big like that. The Sheriff glanced towards the clock. "Actually, why don't we just get going now? We can save the rest of this work for tomorrow. It's not like it's going anywhere." Terrence said, standing up, grabbing the keys to the cruiser off his desk. He started for the door, and gestured for Sophia to follow.

Lukas sighed as he looked at the text. Xion was always so busy. But he understood with Xion's mom and all. He only met her once and thought she was utterly terrifying. He decided to text back.

'Baw that's ok.' He typed. 'We can hang out and eat ice cream next time! I can show u how to ride a skateboard k? ; )' Despite the wink smiley face, Lukas wasn't smiling at all. He heard Aron talking with Kievan.

"Mr. Kross? What's he doing with that schmuck..." Lukas leaned forward and suddenly slipped. He fell right out from the side of the lockers in front of the two teachers and collided into the ground. His skateboard bounced off of the wall and followed right behind to hit Lukas right in the head who in turn made a loud 'Ow!' He rubbed the back of his head and nervously looked up at the two teachers.

"Oh hey Mr. K-K.... Mr. Jones....." Lukas hated Kievan with a passion, but loved Aron as a teacher.

-Aqua-

Sofia chuckled softly and finally finished organizing the rest of her desk. She knew she could count on Terrence. She was about to go with him before she stopped to check herself in the mirror. She looked like a utter mess. She dusted off her clothing and combed out her jet black hair. It was blue once, but she only dyed it her natural hair color to keep it professional. Now that she was in a great job and had a high profile as well as a reputation, she could probably just do whatever she wanted and dye it blue again. She didn't know why, but she always loved her hair blue. Making herself more presentable, Sofia grabbed her jacket and exited the door all while thanking Terrence for opening it for her.

"Thank you." She said. "I need to be dropped off at Rachel's. If you want you might be able to attend as well. We always love new attendants."

(Alright, look like it's my time to shine! Let's just hope I can keep up with all of these posts. xD )

~Riku~

Walking through the city with a sigh, Flint's mind was focused on calming himself after another stressful day of school. Being the kind and reliable student took it's tole on the teen as it usually left him feeling drained. But, Flint would never complain about this fact and would usually just ignore it for the sake doing what ever he could for others.

"I need a drink... Maybe I'll stop by the shop Eclair works and get myself something to eat while I'm there."

Suddenly, Flint felt the buzzing of his phone in his pocket. Taking it out, he found that he had received a text from Lukas asking if they wanted to hang out. Flint smirked to himself.

"So that's where he was... What an idiot."

Flint then texted Lukas back with the message: 'Sure. I'm going to the diner for something to eat, let's meet up there.'

Sending off the message, Flint entered the diner and sat down in one of the available booths, taking his bag off his shoulder and stretching his arms while yawning, getting comfortable in his seat.

"Now all that's left to do is wait."

~Tidus~

Practicing his soccer skills as usual, the young blonde kicked the soccer ball straight up into the air. With a smile draped across his face, the boy felt so natural as he bounced the ball off of his head and back into the air. Taking a step back, Allen allowed the soccer ball to fall to the ground, bouncing a single time before the young man took a shot using his full strength. Scoring a goal made him smile from ear to ear, even if there was no one to oppose him. Heading back over to his bag after retrieving the ball, Allen had surprisingly found that it was time for him to arrive at the charity event in the city.

"I'd better change out of these and then head on over. I don't want to be late!"

Using the nearby changing rooms, the boy changed out of his soccer uniform and wore his usual outfit consisting of a pair of black jeans and a yellow and white t-shirt. Putting his bag, containing all of his soccer equipment and clothes, over one shoulder, the boy headed towards Rachel's apartment. Having not to have actually met Rachel before, Allen felt slightly worried about what he may say or do. Hoping to not embarrass himself, Allen made his way up to the apartment and knocking on the door, waiting patiently for a reply.

"Maybe I should have brought some kind of gift or something..."

~Vanitas~

Maverick Vane, the chaos incarnate who caused trouble everywhere he went. However, unlike every other resident of Dream Beach that he'd met, he was able to clearly remember who he truly was.

"This world... It's going to take some time getting used to... The curse was more powerful than I had imagined."

The black haired delinquent was stood on the beach with his hands in his pockets, looking out at the ocean waves.

"Well, better stay in character or these losers will begin thinking something is wrong."

Walking off of the beach, Maverick lay down his custom made skateboard on the ground and then began to head back into the city.

"Maybe I should paint some walls or just mess around with some of the "townsfolk". If I find him, Lukas is going to get a beating..."

Maverick sighed, zipping through the city in hopes of coming across someone who could free him of his boredom.

~*~Kefka~*~'

"Ah, Aron; perfect.  I was just looking for you."  His voice held a smile, but his face did not.  His feelings for the teacher were rather mixed.  While they got along cordially, he often disagreed with Aron's teaching methods, and his nobility was something that just stung Kievan.  Aron was so loyal to his students, and his students to him, and Kievan was, admittedly, jealous of Aron's repor with them.  The blond teacher began to extend the homework he'd received toward Aron when suddenly a boy crashed to the floor directly in front of them, his skateboard following close behind.  Kievan withdrew his extended hand and straightened, staring at the boy as though he'd grown an additional head.  "What were you doing?" Kievan asked, ignoring Lukas's stutter.  "Were you eavesdropping yet again, Lukas?  Please don't make me send you to the principal's office yet again.  I heard you were in detention earlier, so let's not break a record to see it twice, hmm?"

With that, Kievan directed his attention back toward the other teacher once more.  "Homework from a student of yours.  Hasty fool left it on my desk for grading and, believe you me, I nearly just gave it an F for his effort in delivery."

~*~Locke~*~

Skylar graciously accepted the coke and sipped away at it.  After a long guzzle he let out a satisfied sigh and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.  "Actually, Eclair, about that"--Skylar glanced around awkwardly before leaning in over the counter toward her--"you see, I didn't exactly get the money . . . yet.  So I had another idea . . . .  How about I do you a favor, any kind of favor, instead?  Teach you to surf, deliver a letter, anything.  I don't know when I'll have the money, and I'm sorry."

Nervously the young man started to go back to his coke when both Tiffany and another dark-haired girl began questioning him about the position at Gamestop.  His eyes widened in surprise, hand still clutching his drink, while looking back and forth between the two.  "Well, first, I think you have to be at least sixteen to work.  Company policy."  He gave Aeria a swift glance upon saying it, dismissing her small stature for thirteen or fourteen.  "And your hours are based on performance.  However, last week we had a manager quit along with three other employees, so I think you could be the laziest bloke and sit on your phone all day and still work forty hours a week, if not overtime."  Skylar smiled and tipped his cap's visor toward Tiffany.  "It's nice to meet you, Tiff.  My name's Skylar.  I've seen you around for a bit, but usually I'm just that 'quiet guy in the corner' that never likes to make his presence known."  He chuckled softly upon this, turning back toward Aeria and nearly knocking over his coke upon sight of Lightning.  "Oh, good golly day, what is the FBI doing over here?"

Everyone began filling Rachel's apartment before she could even respond properly to Nicole.  Looking around in a slight frenzy, Rachel nodded and enthusiastically grasped Nicole's hand.  "Oh, how wonderful!  I have heard of Social Butterflies.  It works for a wonderful cause!  I hope you'll find Hearts 4 Souls to be something of interest.  The leader of the organization is named Iris and she should be here shortly.  I'm sure that you'll like her."  Rachel began heading toward the kitchen, retying her apron around her waist as she opened the oven.  "That's very gracious of you to offer your help.  If you'd like to take those glasses into the living room for me that would be just terrific!"  She gestured a hand toward some glassware on the counter when suddenly she felt someone rest their head on her shoulder.  The redhead jumped and gave a start.

"Oh, Seraphim!  I--I didn't hear you come in."  Rachel's voice was tight as she examined Seraphim's clothes.  She didn't exactly appreciate people sneaking in through her window, yet didn't know how to tell an FBI agent off.  Instead, she continued curtly, "And no, you're not late, but rather fifteen minutes early."

The sound of the front door arrested Rachel's attention.  Glancing up she spotted Tina make her way into the living room, causing excitement to grow in her chest.  "Oh, Tina!" she cried, waving a hand frantically.  "It's so good to see you!  How are things going at the inn?  You're working so much that I hardly see you nowadays."

Coffee finally in hand, and a nice, long drink taken, the rose-haired FBI agent looked at Locke.

"This is my daughter. Aeria. Her sixteenth birthday is tomorrow." She took another drought of coffee. "And you, Skylar. What are you doing, judging  a book by it's cover? Come now, I'd...no wait, I almost forgot. You're the lazy bloke who sits in the corner, not liking to make his presence known. She took took a moment to look around , then settled her eyes back on Skylar. She said nothing more, mostly because Aeria had elbowed her in the stomach lightly.

-Xion-

"I'm sixteen tomorrow. I wanted a job yaknow? Can't give a girl a chance?" She was avoiding being mad, since that wouldn't help at all. She took a breath and looked back at Skylar. "So...is it only the pretty girls who get a chance, or can the norms get a shot?" Yeah, probably a bit too harsh...but he did completely ignore her based on stature.

-Seven-

Sera giggled. "Cool. Can I help you, Rach, or should I just sit down?" She straightened up and stood a bit more apart, her teasing of Rachel done with for now.

~Fran~ "Oh, I-" Nicole had been taken by such a rush once Rachel pulled on her hand and led her into the kitchen. When she had let go of her hand, Nicole brushed her suit a bit and tried to speak once more.

"Well, I am here on both my account, and the company's. Helping out is just what I wanted to do." Rachel instructed Nicole to take the glasses out towards the living room. Nicole took up a gray tray of an unknown shade, and placed the glasses on the said tray; she then carried it into the main room, which seemed to be bustling with new people. A few she had recognized, and a few she hadn't. After placing the glasses on a counter that lay by the wall, she adjusted her tie, and walked towards the bustle. A knock was heard, but Rachel seemed too busy to answer the door. Nicole took it upon herself to greet the guest into the room! She swung the door open to reveal the guest.

"Allen!" Nicole recognized the young man almost immediately. After all, she took it upon herself to get to know most of the younger people in town. "I didn't know you participated in charity events. Come on in!" She open the door wider so the young man could enter. "Sorry that Rachel couldn't answer the door, I don't think she quite heard you knock."

Roxas rubbed the back of his head as he painfully sat up. Figures this would happen to him. Thanks, Universe. He felt his phone vibrate and he checked the message sent by Flint. Great! The diner was really close and all he had to do was just cut through the boardwalk at the beach to get there. He knew Maverick, or Mavprick as Lukas always called him sometimes was around there, but Lukas figured Maverick was off somewhere kicking puppies or something. He stuffed his phone back in his pocket and stood up.

"I wasn't ease dropping..." He muttered with a huff. Truthfully he kinda was, but he would never admit it. Lukas began to dust of his clothes. "And I was in detention for no reason!" He heard Kievan mention some sort of assignment left on his desk and Lukas realized that the assignment was probably his. Oh well at least he handed something in to Kievan for once.

Aron kept silent as Kievan spoke with Lukas, before Aron could get his input in, Lukas explained himself, Simply grabbing the assignment Kievan handed to him and inspecting it for a second, "This is yours then Lukas?" He asked before putting it in his bag, "Pay attention to what assignments you're giving to who next time" he advised the boy as he pondered for a moment, "Well there is a reason to be in detention, a reason I won't ask, just be careful with what you do" he told him, he was never one to pry on why and what the students did, he just advised them the best he could without getting too personal, it was how he always taught students.

"Well im sure you have something to do now, so you might want to get moving, else you'l get late, I won't tell anyone you were eavesdropping, don't worry" he reassured Lukas, he was always one the students could rely on, and he knew that.

Zachary stumbled down the stairs of the inn, having been awoken by Tina's yelling.

"Geez, I thought I was paying to stay at an Inn, not a damn circus." He rubbed his blond hair groggily, waving with the other hand to Amber. "I'm heading to the Diner, see ya later." He stumbled down the stairs, holding his jeans to his waist. He hadn't finished putting on his clothes, and was still trying to buckle his belt, which seemed to be disagreeing with him. Zach pouted, and let his belt hang loosely upon his slightly sullied jeans.

"Tell Tina I said 'Hey!'" He headed out the door, beginning to buttoning up his jet dress shirt, which had been wafting at his sides until now. Across the street, the diner he visited every day had been placed. He hopped his way across the road, jay-walking, not paying too much care towards the traffic.   "Good afternoon, Eclair." He stumbled his feet into the diner, taking notice of the lot of other guests in the service area. "Tiffany, Elysia, Skylar, Aeria." He widened his eyes at the surprising number of people.

"Huh. Usually, Skylar is the one I run into here. Not Rose here and her kid." He had finally managed to get his belt buckled, letting out a successful sigh. He pulled out his charred leather, and forced his way towards the bar.  "The usual please; Peach Tea and a Philly Cheese." He placed a 20 on the service bar and took to his usual stride to the corner of the room, where he'd  park himself daily. He put his wallet back into his pocket, and took a seat, folding his fingers in front of him. Across the room he could spot a young man, to whom Zachary merely nodded.

Lukas nodded in response to Aron's question. He honesty didn't even know how he was that stupid to hand in the wrong assignment to the wrong teacher. At least he was handing in something to begin with. And then as always, Aron prooved once again that Lukas could always rely on him.

"Yes sir!" Lukas said with a smile as he got his things together. He was going to ride his skateboard again, but it was against the rules to ride it in the halls so he was just going to wait until he got outside since Aron and Kievan was there. He slung his bag over his shoulder, grabbed his skateboard and bid his teachers farewell.

"See ya! Oh, and I actually did your homework during detention Mr. Jones, so don't say I wasn't productive today." With that he went right outside and towards the beach.

Once Lukas made it to the boardwalk, he started to ride his skateboard idyly towards the shortcut to the diner. He was listening to some music on his MP3 player and didn't realize that Maverick was a couple of yards behind him.

"And there you were," Lukas sang to himself. "Kicking my heart back and fourth but now you're not so tough. You wanted the worrrllld you wanted it all~" As he sang Lukas replied to Flint's text.

'K. I'm at the shortcut we always take at the beach so I'll b there in 5 min.'

"You wanted the worrrllldddd you wanted it all~"

(Bonus points for whoever knows what the song is.)

Amber lay back in the swivel chair at the front desk, painting her toenail with little regard for professionalism. She laughed when she saw Zach fumbling his way downstairs, half-dressed. "Sorry, forgot you were sleeping up there I guess. And sure, I'll convey the message for you." She replied to the writer. He actually lived here pretty much all the time, which really could not be financially balanced, but there was so little housing available in town (except for those apartments, but those didn't work for everyone), that there wasn't really another option. Amber herself was just lucky that since she worked here she could stay for free.

Tina smiled and nodded towards Rachel. "Oh, everything is proceeding as normal. Life is actually less crazy than it is normally now that I have Amber helping out." The Innkeeper answered. She wandered quietly over towards the table and set down her purse, replacing it with one of the glasses of water. She sipped a little bit, standing a bit to the side.

Terrence was right behind Sofia as he headed to the driver's side door of the cruiser. "Yeah, sounds good. I'll be driving right by there anyway." He said, climbing into the car. He started it up after slamming his door shut. When his partner got into her position in shotgun, he carried on. "I think I'll pass on joining in though. I'll need to stay in the station for a couple hours after my patrol's over anyway. And I was going to check in on Sid. Make sure those Feds didn't do anything too drastic to the poor guy." Terrence began pulling the car out of the parking lot, heading towards the apartment complex. He knew Sid had some criminal ties in the past, who didn't, but he personally thought of him as a decent guy. As long as he didn't mess with his town, then they could play nice just fine.

The blond teacher was left standing there, speechless, as he was spoken back to by Lukas.  Before he could respond any further, however, Lukas had already darted off with his skateboard in hand.  All he could do was shake his head and sigh.  "I'm so tired of disrespectful students, Aron, and then you go on and tell them that you won't tattle on them!  Really?  You know, this is partly why we're being run all over is because you're too soft."  Kievan began rummaging through a satchel he had containing notes pertaining to his class, along with a personal project of his own.

"Sometimes I swear that I won't understand you, Aron.  Us teachers should back each other up, but it seems you're always taking their side.  How is that fair?"  His complaints were probably absurd to the public ear--as Kievan's often were--but he was tired of Aron's constant fame amongst his students, which he earned predominately because he sided with them.  "Anyhow, I'm through wasting time here.  I'm heading off to the diner to drown in my misery.  See you tomorrow, Aron."

Truth be told, Kievan had no intention of going to the diner.  No, his mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of the mechanical device he'd found hidden away in an alcove off the beach.  He was going to do something bold and daring, yet he felt the benefit would far outweigh the risk: he was going to visit Sid Benson, the neighborhood mechanic, and test his knowledge on the device.

Elysia's words took Skylar by mild surprise.  He glanced back at Aeria, sizing her up incredulously.  She was sixteen?!  In no way did Skylar think she looked sixteen, but he knew better than to argue.  The young man nodded, looking at Aeria seriously.  "Well, now, I didn't realize that you were turning sixteen so soon," he said as a smooth recovery.  "I guess just walk in and apply.  They're looking for anybody right now.  And not just pretty girls"--he shook his head, feeling suddenly sorry for Aeria--"but that's not to say you're not pretty.  Of course you are.  I promise I didn't mean it like that, okay?"  He never meant to harm the poor girl's feelings or self-esteem.  No one deserved that.  He looked thoughtful momentarily before adding, "By the way, if Gamestop doesn't work out for you, there's always Target.  The manager is awesome, and I'm sure he would treat you fairly."

The brunet took a long swig of his coke before daring to turn back to Elysia.  He generally tried to dodge the FBI and police whenever possible, mostly because the youth's activities and records were a bit shady at best.  However, she had clearly insulted him, and off the clock, and he found he could hold his tongue no longer. "You don't have to get all hyper-spazzy just because I mistook your daughter's age.  Happens all the time.  And maybe I don't like to draw attention to myself because I don't want to be one of those stuck-up snobby pristine know-it-alls that walk around like they're better than everyone else."  He was clearly insinuating something, and it wouldn't have really surprised him if Elysia happened to catch on.  Still, Skylar was entitled to speak his mind; she couldn't arrest him for that.

In the corner of his eye he noticed a couple of people enter the diner, both of which he'd seen in the past.  One he recognized as Zachary, another regular whom he'd conversed with on many an occasion, and another silver-haired teen named Flint whom he'd seen once in a while in his store, and possibly at the diner.  He wanted to greet them both, but now he knew he'd pinned himself down with Elysia's judgment.

(To think they'd been great friends prior to the curse! : P)

"Oh, that's right, I'd nearly forgotten about your newest employee."  Rachel excused herself from the kitchen and made her way toward the living room, where Tina began to sit herself and Nicole granted entrance to another visitor.  The redhead's cheeks turned a shade similar to her hair in embarrassment as Nicole apologized for her inability to get the door.  "Oh dear, I'm so sorry about that.  I was so busy talking away in the kitchen that I didn't hear your knock at all.  I don't think I've seen you in the organization before, so you must be new.  My name is Rachel, and you are?"  She smiled warmly at Allen, eyes sparkling in their vivid shade of green.

"Soft? no, if you pick on them too much you'l be nothing more than a nuisance, and you'l get even less respect, try to look in their perspective, they respect me and obey me, because I am "Soft" on them, but they don't respect you or the other teachers why?" he asked him, giving Kievan a piece of his mind in a calm and strict tone as always, waving at Kievan as he left, he sighed soon after as he lit up a ciggarete and started to smoke a bit, "Well, time to head home." he said with a sigh as he began walking on his way home.

Maybe he would meet Terrence on the way, he and Kievan would often meet him on patrols and would chat a bit, but he doubted it, with the charity event ongoing and everything, it would seem unlikely, nonetheless he began to walk home.

Sofia hopped right into the passenger seat. As soon as she got in, she fished around in her purse for a mirror which she then used to check once again how she looked. Always had do be presentable. She combed her hair with her fingers once more and made sure there wasn't any markings or any sort of stains on her face. In terms of makeup she never wore any except for very special occasions. If anything a small amount of lipstick or eye liner. She was a woman who valued natural beauty. Once she was done wither final check up, she placed her mirror right back in her purse.

"Ahh that's okay. There's always next time." Sophia smiled as she rolled down the window a little. She always loved the salty breeze in her hair. Then Terrance began to talk about Sid. She never had any problems with the man, however she never really talked with him much.

"They're never going to leave him alone, are they?" She sighed. "If you want after the meeting I could come check up on him with you. The meeting should be short I believe."
