What do you need to play a console-quality title on your smartphone? Not much to my surprise

Posted

Square Enix's Mobius Final Fantasy will require iPhone 5 or higher, Android smartphones released during or after 2012.

You will also be able to adjust the graphical quality, adjust power-saving settings, and configure the interface for left-handedness.

I'll tell you what we need.

1An actual controller

2A console or handheld release on PSNXbox Livee-shop where we can use said actual controllers on our console

And 3If there is a DRM on the game.....REMOVE IT

As long as the game is properly configured to utilize the strengths of smart phones, no body should be left wanting an "actual" controller.

best guess some kind of emulater, though those can easily contain viruses and a jailbreak of your phone possibly wouldnt recomend

So... just want to point out

look how little of area you see on the screen

that's why the graphics are "console quality"

because they dropped console levels of scale

...more powerful?

come on, you should know better than that

and

plenty of area?

uh

they're using a pretty common trick to squeeze more graphics out of less powerful tech, and that's to show less. and thus render less. There's a reason a lot of KH games after KH2 have a more zoomed in camera even though KH2's camera was way better

More powerful as in compared to phones in say 2010.

And they've managed to make a stunning game that looks fun before beginning full development of Toriyama's new game.
