Gamer88 3 Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) After IGN's replay for the Kingdom Hearts 3 2015 E3 trailer, don't bother caring about their opinion.Yeah, I know about IGN's ignorance when it comes to KH. I wasnt just talking about IGN though. Edited June 23, 2015 by Gamer88
Hero of Winds 2,576 Posted June 23, 2015 Or you know, instead of complaining about your focus you could read the article about how their focus is big on the main game. Multiplayer is just conceptual and to be honest, it expands the life of a game. Sure I've waited almost 10 years for the game to come out and the story will be amazing. But I'm not the kid that played Kingdom Hearts 2 on a daily basis anymore. I'm a gamer, someone who plays a game and looks for the replay value. If I'm playing through the same game multiple times, it gets boring quick. Multiplayer, however, is a way to keep me in the game. Something that calls to my attention enough to play it again and again. The thing is, they've no focus on multiplayer right now, just story. They don't want to just tack it on either. They want to emphasize on it later on. So "Multiplayer's pointless, they should just focus on the story." is a horrible argument to discuss when that is the case for them in the first place. Also, just to prove multiplayer is possible to do with anything without rendering poorly made stories: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Praised as the best game in the franchise. It pulled you in with an emotional, more immersive story than the first Uncharted ever could have. Introduced Multiplayer to the series. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - Again, the story was amazing, wonderfully done. It never dropped in its focus. Expanded upon multiplayer and was continuously supported for years. The Last of Us - Immersive, emotional wild ride that left many in awe by the end. Multiplayer was included with the dark, brutal playstyle impacting the players more here. Tomb Raider (2013) - The reboot to the series has done so well that it's actually the highest selling title in the franchise, actually sitting on over 8 million sold units. The story is wonderful and if you've never liked Lara Croft before, you will now. Multiplayer was included and supported up to its port over to next gen. Halo - Out of any shooter out there, Halo is actually filled with an amazing story, having not only been focused on in their immersive experiences on Xbox/PC, but also throughout multiple books and short movies that expanded our knowledge on the lore. The series is well known for its ever growing multiplayer. There're plenty of titles with amazing, beautiful stories that keep you held in for hours (for me specifically, The Last of Us held me in for 13 hours straight, no pause for dinner or any break). They also have multiplayer in them and the funny thing is...they don't take away anything from the single player experience. Who would have thought developers actually cared enough to make their games the best they can be?
Mango 45 Posted June 23, 2015 I know opinions are forbidden on the internet but I'd love an online mode for kh3 that was a mixture of kh chi, bbs, and days. Make a keyblade wielder, go on missions with friends, race, or pick you fav kh character to take into a versus arena! Why not eh?
