Gwynbleidd 551 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Given that Kingdom Hearts 3 is most certainly looking like a 2017 title, when do you expect to see Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 hit our shelves? Recently, Nomura stated that Birth By Sleep 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage - would be the length of one Disney world, which is admittedly about 40 minutes to an hour in length. It has been mentioned that Dream Drop Distance is pretty much being remade in terms of gameplay aspects, since the 3DS played the title on two screens which could mean that an early 2016 release is unlikely, but still possible. Given these factors do you think an early 2016 release is likely or are you more keen on a Winter 2016 release? For me personally, I would much like an early release next year since a Winter 2016 release would really worry me as to when Kingdom Hearts III would get a release... Master Eraqus 1,340 Posted September 20, 2015 IF 2.8 gets a worldwide release (#DontLetTheDreamDrop), I believe that it will come out around late Summer or early Autumn. Here's why: Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover will only be a movie of cutscenes. It would obviously take them longer to finish if it had gameplay. As confirmed recently, 0.2 will only be the length of one Disney world. So this game will probably be 1-2 hours long. With both of these in mind, Dream Drop Distance would most likely be there main focus of 2.8. All they have to do is 'HD-ify' the game, work around the controls and gameplay to fit with the PS4 and add whatever new contents they'll be adding.
