I was shocked at first. This was not an easy fight, but I liked it.

"WHAT THE --?!", I shouted as a reaction to the burst of fire.

"Crystal Water!", I yelled, which made several bursts of water extinguish the line of molten energy.

And now I was ready to finish my Tides-Spell.

"Dome of the ocean!", I commended, which made the several little Tides fuse into a bigger one. It suddenly divided into millions of water bursts, which fastly dashed towards Lanife.

I formed a fist, which made some of the water bursts transform into Bursts of Icicles.

I smiled.

The fire-based catridge clattered to the ground as Lanife forced up a soft white one into the compartment. She had mere seconds to stop this assault before it all came crashing down; several hundred, maybe even thousand pounds of water crashing into her body.

She couldn't let that happen.

Lanife pulled the trigger and took aim for the wave, aiming for the rightmost side. She pulled the trigger and, instead of growing hot, she let her weapon's barrel grow incredibly cold. She released the trigger and let fly a bolt of ice-cold magic that hit the right assortment of bursts, freezing most of them in place. The rest continued to fall, but she was already diving to the side; keeping her rifle close as the bursts hit her hard.

Out with the ice cartridge and in with a plain grey one. Lanife let the bursts hit her before throwing herself into the air, allowing her to take the moment to twirl and aim right for Yuuki.

Eat .300 Cal. Lanife thought, and even if she missed as she fell back down, it would make a hell of a scare. She pulled the trigger and let the bullet fire, making a loud burst of a sound as the bullet zipped for Yuuki.

If I could only transform.

"WHOA!", I screamed. I dashed to the side, but I could not avoid the bullet hitting me. The bullet pierced my arm.

Blood trickled from my arm. It hurt so much, I had no other option than freeze my arm.

"STOP THE PAIN!", I yelled as Ice covered my right arm.

I can't.. do this any longer.

I fell to the ground, crying.

I.. I have to continue. For my parents..

I looked at my opponent. I quickly dashed forward.

I quickly, in one move, summoned my Keyblade and hit her with it. I then twirled and aimed at Lanife, yelling "Endless Crystal Echo!"

Now, this was a very strong magic. It irritates the opponent with both high and deep sounds, which were echoed over and over again. It was kind of an upgrad of the "Reverberating Notes"-Spell, since this one also has millions of Notes dashing towards the opponent.

"God damn it!"

This kid would not give up! Lanife wouldn't either as she completely dispelled her rifle and drew her sword. The star's light intensified to a bright blue, one that shown like a true star as she ran forth, cutting through the notes and letting each and everyone hurt her. She could do so much more to win this, but at that point, she'd be risking getting caught.

Knowing what was coming after her, she knew she would likely lose to remain undetected.

"Starburster!" Silvia cried, stomping down on her foot before launching into the air. Her whole sword glowed blue now, becoming a wild streak as she dove down on Yuuki.

"Crystals of the Depth!" , I yelled at the diving Lanife. A big snowflake appeared some feet ahead of me, which, at impact, would burst into ice shards. It was e very long one, creating a clear line between of me and my opponent.

I don't have time for this anymore. I have to use both oof my arms.

With much pain, I defroze my arm, causing me to cry and scream.

After I regained my power, I summoned my magic flute. By playing various notes and tones, a shield of those was created, and I was inside of it.

When i would not stop to play, the shield wouldn't break ever. But my opponent could not know, that what I was doing was: Charging yet another attack.

"Extension: Meteor Strike!"

Starburster Meteor Strike. The glow of her blade still intensified, growing yet to an increased luminosity that practically became a second, blue sun itself. The blade took a will of its own, guiding Lanife onward as the blade's power tore through the snowflake, which ended as Lanife spun around and released all of the energy into a orb-shaped burst, which like a meteor, fell upon Yuuki and the shield.

Lanife landed safely, feet away from the music-based shield before summoning her rifle.

Protecting herself with music? The flute is the key, then. She plays, the shield stays. The moment it drops, I'll fire.

Lanife forced in the energy-clip into her rifle and gently pulled the trigger. Her reaction speed was top notch; the split second she saw that shield falter, whether by her meteor strike or by Yuuki's doing, she'd blast straight through.

Musa smiled. Her actual Spell was finished. As the meteor hit the shield, nothing happened; It was still there. It was like t didn't even touch it, which made Musa smile.

She then stopped playing the music. She turned around and just winked to Lanife. Then, suddenly, she started to cry. She summoned her Keyblade and she was going to...

Kill herself?!

She reached out and turned her keyblade on her chest...

She was not going to hesitate.

Hey Lanife, don't hate me, alright? I have to do this...for the good of everyone.

Lanife blinked as Yuuki prepared to seemingly end her own life. All Lanife could see was her friend, him, standing there with that damn sword in his hand, ready to sacrifice himself to save her, and the rest of their friends, as well as many people as he could.

"Don't you dare," Lanife hissed, dropping the energy-clip and replacing it with the standard bullets. She pulled back the receiver and took aim not at Yuuki, but her Keyblade.

"Don't you dare kill yourself!" Lanife shouted, the first real words she had spoken to anyone in days, before firing her weapon. She was going to knock that Keyblade away, and stop this girl. She would stop anyone, everyone, who would try to end their life.

((All of this is based on an actual story I'm writing, so I apologize if things come out of left field, it's based off of my own plot.))

The Keyblade got through my chest.

Blood..all over the place.

Lanife was too late...

...

...

...

...

Sorry for doing this.

Lanife was dashing forward now, handgun in her palm as her rifle clattered to the ground. She dashed up to Yuuki and pulled the Keyblade back out with all her might, all while keeping a firm grip on her own weapon. She couldn't let her guard down, not for a second, but she wasn't going to let this kid kill themselves.

"Idiot," Lanife snapped, "Idiot! Idiot! What are you thinking?!"

No sane person would attempt this. Lanife knew that well, but the blood, she could see it fall. She could see him, his body dissipating into dust as he used his life to keep things together, and save the few that he could.

Suddenly, a burst of light came down from the sky, attacking Yuuki and Lanife.

It hit both, causing Yuuki to fall to the ground and vanish into millions of particles.

Yuuki was there, floating in the sky.

"You should not let your guard down that easily, honey!", she yelled at Lanife.

"Sorry for using Illusion Magic.", Yuuki smiled.

"Universal Light!!", Yuuki commanded, causing several bursts of light dash to her opponent.

"Sirius Shield!!", she screamed, creating a golden, star-shaped Shield surrounding her.

"How dare you," Lanife hissed, her sniper rifle appearing once more. Sure, the lazers were blasting through her, tearing her skin open and tearing her clothes to shreds, but she was pissed, and she not going to let some kid just get away with doing that to her.

Lanife slapped the energy-clip back into her weapon, and held her trigger for as long as she could. She had mere seconds left, as the light beams beat through her body.

"Wolfe: Cerberus' Howl." She hissed, releasing the trigger, and her rifle emitted a beam unlike any other. Were they going too far for a small, hometown match? Absolutely. Lanife knew that after this, she would have to scram. She was drawing too much attention, and if Yuuki made it through this, she'd forfeit the match. Her rifle hummed and shook, almost tearing itself at the subatomic level as it emitted the beam.

Can't keep it on, She knew too well, Idiot kid...

"BURST OF ELEMENTS: FIRE, WATER!", Yuuki comanded.

Out of the sudden, it started to rain. Soon, the droplets became sharp Icicles, which attacked Lanife.

Flames appeared, dancing around Yuuki.

"I won't lose. I can't lose.", Yuuki said.

"CAN YOU HEAR ME?! MOTHER, FATHER!", she suddenly screamed towards the heaven. Towards her parents.

She began to cry. "This is for you leaving me! You ruined my life! You gave me the worst day in history!", she screamed, still crying.

"I CANNOT FORGIVE YOU! And I will NOT forgive you!"

Yuuki cried. She cried because her parents left her on her 13th birthday. It was their fault. Everything was their fault.

She sobbed.

Her memories came all back to her. The pain. The anger. The sadness..

Yuuki suddenly collapsed, causing her to fall. As she fell, she touched the fire, and her right torso caught fire!

The beam shot out, and Lanife was beaten down by the fire. She began to crumple down, knowing she was done for as she watched Yuuki fall towards her.

"Can't..." Lanife whispered before falling onto her back. She raised her rifle one last time, and with what little strength she had, she replaced the cartridge with a blue one before firing the trigger to cause a jet of water to burst out and calm the fire that raged on Yuuki's body.

"Gotcha." Lanife murmured, smirking to herself, before opening her arms up, letting Yuuki fall down onto her.

Yuuki felt nothing. Nothing positive.

She opened one eye. She cried. She cried because of all the pain and the anger.

"Why..", she whispered.

"Why did they have to leave me back?!"

Yuuki got angry. Very angry.

Since she is the Fairy of Water, Ice and Snow, the wheater reacted.

Snow began falling. It was dark snow, filled with all the pain and suffer.

She then began to laugh.

"If you don't want to, you don't --", she laughed.

She then laughed again, louder this time.

"have to feel the pain anymore!", she laughed and laughed. It was a kind of sad laugh.

Suddenly she transformed into her Fairy Form.

"I WAN'T TO SEE YOU, MOM AND DAD!",she cried again.

She summoned her Keyblade..

"What have I been fighting for?"

...

...

"Is this world even worth being protected?

...

She aimed the Keyblade at herself. She wanted to do it. For real this time.

Why live, when there is nothing and no one to protect?

She's doing it again... Lanife told herself, as she lifted a palm, a weak palm, to stop the girl. I don't have the energy, I can't do it..

Hey.

What the hell do you think you're doing, Lanife?

His voice rang true, straight through her heart, and she realized she did have the energy. She hadn't allowed herself to give up yet, so why was she doing it now? Giving up...that's not how Lanife Leon did things!

Lanife balled up her palm into a fist, her whole hand shaking before she opened her palm up and openly slapped Yuuki across the cheek.

"Idiot...kid.."

As she got slapped, the Keyblade fell to the ground. Yuuki stared at the ground.

She then snapped out of it.

"I.."

...

"I guess good and bad have to zero themselves out, right?", she whispered to herself. She then reached Lanife her hand.

"Name's Yuuki."... "Thank you."

"Mhm," Lanife grunted in response. That was an interesting match....and she was still pissed at this girl. Trying to kill herself, for real and for tricks, that  was something that Lanife wouldn't let go of fairly easily.

The audience seemed fairly stunned at the match, and the announcer was having trouble telling them the results of their match. great...it would probably end in disqualification or a tie.

Odyn watched the battle excitedly. He wasn't sure whom to root for because both fighters did their best and honestly it was a sight to behold. He was looking forward to meet whichever of them would succeed and proceed to the next round, and he could only hope that both of would be able to leave the battleground on their two legs. Honestly, he became a bit worried as things turned a bit sour, but he was sure that if the battle would become exceedingly dangerous, Merlin would probably intercept - as he usually did. In the end, everyone watched the two of them with a stunned expression, while the announcer tried to decide what to do.

As the hopeless showman struggled to speak his mind, a young male from the crowd entered the ring - he wore plum trousers, a blue shirt and a light-grey overcoat with a cap - grabbed the microphone and declared Lanife to be the winner. After a few silent seconds the crowd basically exploded; they cheered for both fighter regardless whether they've won or lost. They did their best and that's all that mattered.

Odyn himself drank for their health (and for his own) then rejoined Merlin, who was making his way towards Yuuki and Lanife, who were escorted out from the fighting arena.

Yuuki couldn't believe it. She lost.

I am..

such a fool.

As she left the arena, she healed her injuries with magic. Whatever. Maybe next time..

She still felt a bit dizzy. She could not even walk properly anymore.
